John was a great host, brilliant and clear communication. The apartment was clean and all the amenities worked, comfy bed and decent shower. I had to work remote for half a day in the apartment and the WiFi was perfect and no issues at all for when using for work calls. The location is ideal, not far from a local supermarket and only a short walk to Shipley town centre. Overall, very happy and would recommend.

Lovely flat with great views over harbour. It was so easy to get everywhere, not just within Whitby to the shops, beach, pier etc but also for transport to other areas. We parked up on arrival at Pannett Park then just left the car there for the whole week. We got buses to Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Robin Hood's Bay. There were also buses and trains going to the North York Moors so you don't really need a car to get anywhere. The flat itself was very clean, tidy and well appointed . The beds and huge sofa were extremely comfortable.

I stayed with 4 friends at this apartment for a long weekend. The host was very responsive up to the date of check-in, asking if we wanted double beds or split single beds, and also provided lots of information for getting into the property, local amenities and directions. The place itself is great - really clean with all the basics you would need for a long weekend. It's also an easy 15 mins walk into the center of York and 5 or so mins from the train station so ideally located and easy to use as a base. Thanks for a great stay.

Natasha was helpful and responsive- replied within a couple of minutes of my messages. We arrived after midnight and the man at the front desk was so kind and helpful, he even went down to the garage to make sure we got in safely and carried our bags up to the flat for us. My mum was feeling he cold a little (change in season and tired) and Natasha arranged a thick duvet for her, it arrived within an hour of me asking. The flat is spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. I think the only thing missing was a bedside lamp so I could sit up and read in bed but that's no biggie. The flat is right in the middle of Bradford so very easy to get around- we ate at the Karachi (a place my mum used to go to in the 70s!) which was very good and only a short walk away. I was warned about walking alone in Bradford at night but I felt very safe. People were friendly, there was a community police presence on Friday and Saturday night.

Had such a fantastic time at Ryan’s place. The accommodation is incredible and perfectly located. Really well kitted out with all you need in the kitchen although there was enough lovely cafes and restaurants around so we didn’t cook in the apartment. As others had mentioned, shame there isn’t an allocated parking space but the leisure centre is a few minute walk and was free whilst we were there. Brilliant communication from Ryan and easy check in/check out. Would highly recommend and would stay there again if in Whitby! Cheers Ryan

Had a lovely weekend with family. House was welcoming and immaculate. Andrew and Phillippa could not have done more.

Lovely, very clean little home, an ideal base to explore surrounding areas. Skinning grove beach is fab and good for fossil hunting, the Ship Inn is great for food, its only a 7 minute drive away. Both dog friendly. Thank you for the biscuits, tea and milk.

We went to York for a creative retreat and the house was the perfect backdrop for firing up creativity and imaginative whilst having lots of space to relax in the evenings. Everything was as listed, clean and homely, and any questions were answered promptly. We'd love to stay again!

Such a great place, ideal for our needs, treats to keep us going and breakfast supplies, comfy beds, spacious lounge, amazing shower, wonderful recommendation for the local pub, all round fantastic home.

Fantastic sat at Amy’s place. The accommodation had plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and one toddler with a single bed to spare. The property had clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard. All the fixtures and finishes were of high quality. Amy was a great host, really helpful before and during our stay. I would recommend this property for anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at the Old Station House, perfect for large families or groups. Charles was very friendly and accommodating of our requests including a late checkout. The welcome basket went down very well too! Would highly recommend.

A great house for a family get together something for all ages we have a family aging from 80 down to 2 with dogs in the mix and we loved the space with somewhere to gather and also big enough to escape for piece and quiet

We had a great time at the bnb during our visit to York. The place was quite spacious and the location was on point. We would walk daily to the town center and nearby areas. In terms of our stay, it was quite nice, with most of the amenities available including a well equipped kitchen. I would definitely recommend the bnb.

We were visiting family very close by and needed a place to stay as a base. This was perfect for us. Check in was easy, instructions and info provided was helpful and really appreciated having some milk in the fridge for tea when we arrived. + Had a great day out in Saltaire at the converted mill which I’d highly recommend if visiting the area too. Local history, Art, excellent book store, amazing home store and good dining options.

I booked a weekend at Diane’s place for my parents, they had nothing but wonderful things to say, the space was spotless & the welcome gifts was highly appreciated, thank you. mum FaceTimed me showing me round & the place looked exactly like photos, my parents loved it. They went out to eat & drink at Omni & loved the vibe in there, they also visited the market & said it was great (they brought me back some gorgeous cannolis) They said it was right up their street, thank you Diane for the fab weekend of peace & quiet away from the grandkids ! I would recommend Diane’s place to anyone looking to visit Malton x

Our second time staying here and another nice stay. We were there for a wedding at York Racecourse and it was less than a 10 minute walk which was great. We had a small issue whilst there and communication was fantastic/speedy. Communication before arrival was also really great. Thanks for another comfortable stay.

The apartment is complete for a family of four. Good size fridge, freezer, induction hob, microwave and a dishwasher. This is a perfect location for enjoying everything that York has to offer. The railway museum is only 45 minutes walk. The minster is under 30 minutes . The Shambles is only 15 minutes and it is similar to Burrow Market with street food of virtually every country you can think of. There is a Shop that Can’t be named. The Hop on Hop off bus stop is just 3 minutes from the Tannery. I will definitely be checking in again next time I come to York.

We had an excellent stay here. Sanita met us which made our arrival really easy. The apartment was spacious and quiet with lots of helpful little extras like tea/coffee, milk on arrival etc. Our son appreciated the games available and my husband and I were grateful of Netflix as we weren't in a position to enjoy the nightlife on this trip! The apartment was only a few mins walk to the bus stops, and about a 15 mins walk from the train station. We also walked to the City Museum (5 mins), Water Taxi (20 mins), Armoury (35 mins), and Industrial Museum (40 mins). These were all done with a 7 year old so may be quicker if you're adults only. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The apartment was warm and the hot water was plentiful enough for 3 of us to shower. The WiFi seemed good too. This was a great fit for us and we'd recommend it. Thanks for having us, Dave and Sanita.
