This is the most beautiful villa: well maintained, wonderful hosts, fully stocked with most everything you would need. The location is very good for exploring this part of the island and the views of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other is really remarkable. The hot tub and pool are amazing and the space is very well organized with large rooms and plenty of common areas.

We couldn’t recommend this place more! Exceptional value for money with an unforgettable view that has to be seen to be believed. The house itself is modest but spotlessly clean and very private. Reaching it at night can be a bit tricky due to the narrow roads—prepare for some adventurous driving! Accessing Taormina is convenient if you're up for a bit of exercise: either walk about 240 steps or take a 20-minute drive. This worked well for us, and even the kids enjoyed the walk. Martina’s local recommendations were fantastic. After trying all her suggestions, I can assure you they really made our stay memorable.

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

En octobre le climat est très agréable, l’eau de la mer relativement chaude et d’une clarté absolue, et pouvoir profiter de ça depuis la maison est extraordinaire ! La maison est grande, bien équipée, propre, et Giovanni et sa famille disponibles pour assister. Merci à eux.

Vi var to netter hos Tatiana og Giancarlo. Stedet har alt man trenger og Tatiana var utrolig behjelpelig. Vi fikk også tilsendt en brosjyre med nyttig informasjon om stedet og hva Tatiana kunne være behjelpelig med. Stedet ligger fem til ti minutter gange i mye trapper opp til sentrum og gondolen til Mazzaro, og selve villaen ligger skjermet fra byens støy. Det er også et flott bassengområde på eiendommen som man kan benytte om ønskelig. Alt var rent og leiligheten fremsto veldig eksklusiv i møbleringen og innredningen. Det er god og skjermet parkering på eiendommen. Vi anbefaler stedet og hadde et fantastisk opphold.

Sehr freundliche, kommunikative, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus ist ruhig und ländlich in einer gated community gelegen. Alles an der Unterkunft ist genauso, wie beschrieben, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wunderbarer Blick auf den Ätna. Zum Badestrand ca. 10min. mit dem Auto, zum nächsten Supermarkt ca. 20min. Alles Ausflugsziele im Osten Siziliens sind in ca. 1-1,5 Stunden erreichbar. Catania und der Flughafen von Catania sind nur max. Eine halbe Stunde entfernt.

Sergio’s villa was the most beautiful place that we have ever stayed. Olive and citrus trees right in the yard and pristine views of Mount Etna. Restaurants, coffee, shops, and pharmacies were all within short walks from the home. I would stay again in a heartbeat, if Sergio would have us.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette villa. L’intérieur et l’extérieur ont beaucoup de charme et de cachet. La vue depuis la terrasse côté mer est magnifique, digne d’un film italien. La piscine fait un bien fou pour supporter les chaleurs siciliennes et passer de bons moments entre amis. Le logement est idéalement situé, accessible uniquement en voiture mais il est facile de se garer sur le parking à côté. Nous avons pu aller assez rapidement à Taormina, à l’Etna, Noto, Catana, Syracuse… Les hôtes sont très accueillants, il est pratique d’avoir quelques bases d’italien (même si pas forcément nécessaire). Mention spéciale aux 4 petits chats (Naxos, Syra, Tao et Strombi) qui sont venus nous voir de temps en temps Si vous êtes sensibles au bruit, pensez à prendre des boules Quies car on entend parfois des voitures / motos passer sur la route en contrebas (ça ne nous a pas vraiment dérangé)

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Très bel emplacement avec magnifique vue et au calme. Maison fonctionnelle ,confortable et très bien équipée avec belle piscine. Hôte et son concierge accueillants et très réactifs. Il s agit d une maison avec deux chambres et deux salles de bain et de deux appartements distincts avec chacun une grande chambre et une salle de bain. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et avons pu profiter des excursions proches de Taormine,l Etna et Syracuse.

I, my wife and our 10-11 month baby had a fantastic one month stay at Villa Britannia. The beautiful villa had everything we looked for: great location, a lovely garden (in which "The Snake" by DH Lawrence was written), a big kitchen (great for perfecting Pasta alla Norma), seaview and parking (the large garage could easily fit our quite long estate car). Louisa and her husband Marco are lovely people and provided service on a far higher level than most Airbnb-hosts. Any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Louisa would bring us wines to try and proactively let us know about events in town or traffic challenges, as well as giving great recommendations and help with any problem. We were provided with a baby cot, a baby bath, several (!) baby chairs and lots of toys. Could not ask for more. We really hope to be back one day!

Vi var en familie på 8 som hadde en uke på Villa Respiro. Denne uken glemmer vi sent. Alt var perfekt, bedre enn bildene! Kan varmt anbefale alle å besøke denne plassen. Nært Taormina der vi brukte flere dager og kvelder. Vi nøt også mange dager og kvelder i Villaen, det var helt magisk. Kan anbefale å stå opp tidlig minst en dag å få sett soloppgang, det var en opplevelse😍 Alle var enig om at vi gjerne kommer tilbake hit! Takk for oss Sicilia og Villa Respiro❤️

Our family had a lovely stay and enjoyed the proximity to the nearby restaurants and shops in Taormina. We hope to come back again one day when the weather is warmer to utilize the outdoor area and beautiful pool! Highly recommended

Oh where do I start...IF you are a large group this is a perfect stay. We were a group of 8 (4 couples). The house is comfortable and clean. 5 min walk to the subway gets you right downtown, super easy. The pool is a bonus and clean. I can't say enough about the owners. Giovanni and his daughter where there to greet us and handle any questions we had ( I had none!) Now for the BEST part outside of the best hosts ever...Claudia and Carlotta. ;) The dinner is out of this world and is rated #1 with our entire group. Pretty sure Giovanni knows what he is doing when it comes to the word "chef." Communication was responsive and they arranged transportation. Thank you G...C...C you are welcomed in Kansas anytime! xo

It was our first ever trip to Sicily. Giuliana’s home has a Stunning entrance, gated and the surroundings felt very safe. The external views of the village, hills and pool is absolutely breathtaking with well equipped and beautifully selected furniture. We had A-LOT of questions being newbies which Giuliana so promptly and kindly answered including lots of recommendations especially where to park as most places provided a central parking space which was then walkable to the historical towns etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful warm welcome. Love everything Sicilian 🩵🩵🩵 Ps. Just to note-there is a separate apartment right below with guests who also share the pool.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

The house located in a truly peaceful and relaxing place, with lemon trees and olive trees around; the house is very beautiful and lovely, with lovely flowers around the garden, and smell really good. Vanessa and her family are very kind and nice, provided us everything we need. It's easy to drive to so many nice restaurants nearby, and very close to several towns and cities. We had a wonderful week here!

The house was perfect for our visit to the Catania area. All 3 bedrooms were clean, air conditioned, and spacious with private baths. The pictures in the listing show exactly what you can expect. The outside patio and porch areas are beautiful and great for enjoying a morning coffee and evening beverage. Marco worked with us to accommodate an early check-in. He promptly responded to all of our requests and concerns. The house is gated so privacy and security was not a concern.

Probably one of my favorite Airbnb experiences so far. The place is beautiful, even more beautiful than the photos, super spacious, has everything we needed and more, and had stunning views of Etna. We felt right at home and did not even want to leave the place to explore. Daniella was a superstar, she was very friendly, proactive, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for accommodating us, we had a wonderful time.

Giovanni built the place from scratch with a lot of careful details and with guests in mind. Gardens, plants and trees are spectacular. The pool and pool area is wonderful, we swam whenever we were at home. Home is what it felt like. Location is closed to Taormina, the gorge, Etna is only one hour away as is the airport. I would thoroughly recommend Giovanni's villa to anyone considering a trip to Sicily. You will love it here. Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden hier einen 10-tägigen Urlaub verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt von der Schönheit von Anwesen und Umgebung: Im wunderschönen Zitronenhain gelegen mit Blick auf die Hänge des Ätna und auf‘s Meer. Besser geht‘s nicht! Langeweile kam nie auf, die Gegend bietet super viel! Ein Auto ist allerdings wichtig. Auch auf dem Grundstück gab‘s immer was zu tun: wunderschöner Pool, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Fußball oder in der tollen Küche kochen… und immer frische Zitronen. Maria Gulia und Angelo sind super freundlich und halfen uns oft mit Tipps und schnellen Antworten weiter. Die Villa ist eine absolute Empfehlung!!

We had a very nice stay at this accommodation. The fact that every room has its own bathroom was very nice. Also very welcoming hosts! We made nice trips, the driving time was a little longer that I expected based on the distance. We could not make use of the swimming pool, as it was too cold.
