My wife and I, along with some family and friends, celebrated her birthday at this great lake front house. The home is beautiful, with stunning surroundings right on Buck Lake. I had planned to take the paddle boat out and try catching some pike, but we ended up enjoying the games and ping pong so much that I didn’t make it out. Maybe next time! The house is well laid out, and the main room with the large table is perfect for group board games. Altogether, it was a fantastic experience with wonderful hosts. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lakefront getaway close to Edmonton.

We had a lovely time at this rental. We really liked how it felt away from the city but was also a very easy drive to all the necessities. The furnishings were high quality and it was very clean and modern. We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working but the host did everything they could to fix it. Hopefully they are able to get it fixed for future guests. The host was extremely helpful and responsive in communications. Overall, it was a great rental and we enjoyed our visit. If you are looking for an amazing meal nearby, we highly recommend Joey Sherwood, the service was outstanding and everything we ordered (app, mains and 2 desserts) was delicious!

We had a wonderful winter getaway at Eric & Listina's Zen Lakeview Retreat! Even though it was a brisk -30C in Gainford this weekend, the cabin was cozy and warm. The firepit was an absolute lifesaver and made our evenings truly magical - perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the snowy scenery. The lake looked beautiful, and while we couldn't take advantage of the paddle boats in this weather (understandably!), we can only imagine how amazing it would be to use them in the summer. We're already dreaming of coming back for a warmer visit! The cabin had everything we needed, and Eric and Listina were great hosts, ensuring we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful retreat, no matter the season!

The host was really nice and the place was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. However, I found the lake area a bit disappointing. It was quite far from any activities, making it difficult to enjoy the outdoors fully. Additionally, the BBQ grill needed a good cleaning before use. Overall, it was a decent experience, but the location might not be ideal for those looking for a more active or accessible getaway.

The cottage was a beautiful and private spot close to everything in town. Great spot for an ice fishing trip. Nice town and friendly people. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Anitha was very responsive and checked in to ensure everything went well. We will be back.

Very charming place with an excellent location by the lake. Cozy. Clean. We watched movies by the fireplace, enjoyed a few kilometers walk in the neighborhood and stopped to watch people playing hockey on the skate rink. Nearby village has restaurant and an old fashion café where we had breakfast. We hope to be back one day.

We recently had a fantastic get-together for our retiree group at this beautiful home, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The house is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with large windows that offer a breathtaking view. It made for a lovely setting where we could all relax and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and it was great to have so much space to prepare meals and activities. The home was also pristine clean, which added to the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Shawna, the host, was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for everything. Her attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Overall, it was the perfect venue for our gathering, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-equipped home for a special occasion or get-together!

This cabin offers a very peaceful and quiet stay. The location is scenic, the view at the back of the cabin is beautiful. Regan is such a wonderful host who is available and helpful! There is everything you could possibly need for your stay and so much space. Regan has done an excellent job ensuring you have a lot of amenities and things you need. It was perfect for kids and our family. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure. It was such a comfortable place to stay to get out of the city. I would highly recommend this cabin not only for the great host but for the cabin and surroundings itself.

Our stay at Bob's place greatly exceeded our expectations. What a beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet, cozy place! We enjoyed sitting by the fire, the comfortable couch and bed -- the high ceilings. The Toto toilet was also a delight! Bob is a gentleman. He was ever-available to us, and one afternoon he invited us out for a close-up experience with the Bison herd -- this was breathtaking. We have already recommended Bob's place to our friends and are happy to recommend it here - without reservation! Thank you so much, Bob!!

Our second stay at Teela's cozy cabin was amazing. Loved the neighborhood, 13 minute drive to pigeon lake day use, a short walk to norris beach.

Great spot and a nice peaceful getaway with friends and dogs - private, cozy and still close enough to civilization. No complaint, but heads up for dog owners - the three gates have a small gap at the bottom to be aware of if you have small pups - otherwise the paths and gated yard is perfect. Kitchen was well stocked, firewood plentiful and lots of games. We appreciated the little touches around the place from the host as well.

Unique place to stay. The cabin was rustic looking and had all the amenities a person could want. Beautiful shower. The App was way wrong on where this place was located. We needed to drive an extra half hour needlessly. Fortunately we were able to get a hold of Michael quickly. This should be corrected promptly.

Had a great experience at Jamie's cabin. was easy to find and had everything we needed in the kitchen. They had extra beach towels for the lake. We have a 5 and 3 year old and it all worked out great. Don't pack too much food. On Saturdays, there is a farmers market and there is a big selection of baked goods, fruit and veggies. We'd definitely stay again!

Entire cabin was beautiful and the patio lights made it so welcoming. Loved the amount of space to relax downstairs. The view and privacy is a huge reason why we decided to stay here, and it did not disappoint. Charlie is so sweet. We loved how welcoming he was.

We were on a girl's weekend away with five of us and we were blown away by the accommodation at Daze Off. It was immaculate, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We brought extra kitchen items only to discover everything was already there - air fryer, baking sheets, serving plates, many sizes of pots and a good variety of plates and bowls (and for more than just four people). Everything in my kitchen is in this kitchen. Just bring your food and drink. We all declared our beds and pillows very comfortable, and there were more than sufficient bathroom linens for all of us. The weather was cooler (being November) so we didn't sit by the amazing fire pit or use the outdoor dining table, but if we come back when the weather is warmer you can bet we'll be out there enjoying the yard and star gazing. We had a lovely weekend and it was made just that much better for the beautiful accommodations and the great communication from Holly. Highly recommend.
