Udara is an exceptionally friendly, hospitable and thoughtful host. The main benefit of her well appointed home with all amenities, is the sheer size and space. There's three floors with a bedroom and a bathroom on each floor, a giant Samsung smart TV in the upstairs lounge which was very relaxing to watch when we needed to unwind. Ideally suited for a family on holiday, this three storey house is conveniently located in a safe suburban neighbourhood in Thalawathugoda, walking distance to supermarkets, shopping malls and restaurants. Udara's dad lives nearby and greeted us upon arrival and he is available for any assistance if needed. I highly recommend Udara's house as a peaceful retreat for those in need of a restful family vacation, whilst staying conveniently in Colombo. Thank you Udara for your kind hospitality, we truly appreciate it!

Basma is a great host. We were all very comfortable in her place. She helped us to finalize all our sight seeing plans and even gave us tips to save money and do things in a much better fashion.

I had a comfortable stay at Samantha's place, home was very clean and the air conditioning was strong making sure I had a good rest. There is also a nice rooftop view and the place was secure and private. It was a great stay before catching a flight. Samantha had good and fast communication, he was very nice and helpful.

Ryan was an exceptional host. Very warm and welcoming. He was also available for us anytime over call or evwn a message. Regarding the stay everything was taken care of as mentioned in the listing. The place is well maintained and organized. The location is at walkable distance from supermarkets like keels and cargills and also from public transport. All kitchen essentials were present for light cooking. Bathrooms had the necessary toileteries. The rooms were spacious. The washing machine was in good condition. Iron provided was good. No issues with internet, electricity and water as well. We stayed at the property for 9 nights and we always felt at home. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Suggestion would be to put a clock in the living area and bedrooms if possible.

La villa était parfaite, pas loin des plages tout en étant dans un coin paisible. Le logement était très propre et très fonctionnel. Tharu est très sympathique, il a été flexible sur les horaires d'arrivée, nous a fait des cadeaux locaux et est même monté en tuktuk avec nous pour nous montrer quelques endroits de la région. Son petit déjeuner était également délicieux !

Dallas was a great host. He was a very friendly, very helpful and a very welcoming sort of a person. When I arrived at his place it was pass midnight, nevertheless he was awake to welcome me. The facilities were great, not only the room and the bathroom the whole apartment was at my disposal. Very clean, spacious, quiet and very secure. In case I go back to Colombo again I will definitely stay there and would recommend to any future traveller. Excellent value for money.

The apartment is in a perfect location. Walking distance to 2 supermarkets, shopping mall, the bakery and restaurant, etc. Nice view from a window of Colombo city.

Such a lovely location! I celebrated my daughter's birthday here with our two doggies, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful day. The garden and indoor spaces offer plenty of room, making it ideal for gatherings. The staff were exceptional—attentive, supportive, and genuinely helpful, which made everything run smoothly. I’m so glad I chose this Amy's Haven and can’t wait to visit again!

Mimis kleines Paradies (eigentlich eher riesig) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Bilder auf Airbnb sind schon toll, aber in der Realität, ist das Anwesen noch viel schöner! Die Architektur ist beeindruckend. Haus, Garten und Pool bilden eine perfekte Einheit. Überall gibt es schöne Plätze die zum verweilen einladen. Wir waren zu siebt auf Sri Lanka Tour und der krönende Abschluss, waren die 4 Nächte in Mimis Haus. Dank Kapila, Manjula und Raja konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen und einfach nur entspannen! Die drei Herren sind super freundlich, liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Manjula hat uns landestypisch bekocht, köstlich, authentisch und nur ein kleines bisschen scharf. Zum Glück. Vielen vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Really nice host and really nice place. Worth the money

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

Rizans place at tri zen provides a great stay for short n long periods. It’s well kept and he is always available to assist. Location is great and you have the super market and some good restaurants nearby, just across the road. I would not look around for another place to stay next time while in Cbo.

I really enjoyed the place, it was very clean, spacious, secure. you can stay peacefully. bit is a great location, everything close by. You can go around Colombo, easy access. The host was Very nice. I would definitely go back to the place.

My family had 5 nights in this delightful house which was a perfect antidote to 10 days of rushing around the island of Sri Lanka. It was so relaxing and greatly benefited from having private staff who dealt with everything we could possible have wanted. There is a private chef who went out of his way to prepare whatever we asked for, 3 meals a day if needed. He only charged us for the ingredients required to prepare those meals which included a range of seafoods (e.g. huge prawns and seer fish), fresh fruit and very tasty Sri Lankan main dishes and deserts - nothing was too much trouble and he should be justly proud of his cooking skills, some of the best meals we tasted on our trip. They happily took us out on the tuk-tuk to local shops and will arrange local tours but we were "toured out" by the time we got there. The pool is fantastic (and huge!) and the grounds are constantly maintained by "Uncle". I cannot say anything but positive things, but do bring the bug sprays!

Mohammed’s place was great value for money. It’s a modern, spacious, and fully furnished apartment. Very convenient access to all supermarkets, and other shops. We got a unit on the second floor which had great views from its balconies. We enjoyed the fireworks display from the balconies when the clock struck 12 on 1st Jan 2022. The kitchen has all utensils needed to cook your own meals. However, we noticed there wasn’t a gas cylinder owing to the current situation in the country. Still managed to cook most of our meals using the rice cooker. A hot plate or an induction cooker would be a nice addition. The building manager Mr. Mirzan was very nice and was flexible with all our requests. He made sure our stay at Amaze Residence was a pleasant one. We will definitely visit again.

While the accommodation itself was perfect, the real selling point for this stay is the hosts. They are the most lovely hosts I’ve ever had, attending to all of our needs and very communicative. Please do yourself a favour and stay here! 10/10

Strávili jsme v tomto ubytování nádherný čas a nemohli jsme si vybrat lépe! Nachází se na klidnějším místě, daleko od ruchu velkoměsta, ale stále s výbornou dostupností do centra. Největším bonusem byla prostorná terasa s úžasným výhledem na Colombo – obzvlášť večer to byl opravdu nezapomenutelný zážitek. Ubytování bylo útulné, čisté a krásně provoněné, s veškerým vybavením, které jsme potřebovali. Nešlo o žádný neosobní hotel, ale o místo s duší, kde jsme se cítili velmi příjemně❤️ Hostitelka Anushika byla nesmírně milá, ochotná a vždy připravená pomoci s jakýmkoliv dotazem. Je vidět, že se o své hosty stará s láskou a péčí. Pokud se znovu vydáme do Colomba, určitě se sem rádi vrátíme. Toto ubytování jednoznačně doporučujeme všem, kteří hledají klid, pohodu a krásné výhledy!❤️

We are remote workers. We lived in this apartment for 1 month at the April. This is really comfortable place. The owner was very hospitable and caring. We have made lists of the pros and cons of this apartment. Pros: 1. Good plumbing, nice water pressure and temperature; 2. Responsive owner who promptly resolves all issues; 3. The apartment is in good condition with good furniture., it is comfortable to live and work in this apartment; 4. The kitchen is equipped with you need for cooking. There is a microwave, blender, rice cooker, electric kettle, stove with oven, washing machine; 5. The owner brings us fresh towels, bed linen with change. free cleaning every week; 6. Several Internet networks with good speed and without restrictions. Cons: 1. Noisy. The owner's dogs bark loudly. Loud music plays next door on weekends. 2. Supermarkets on the main street 30 minutes walk. The beach is 45 minutes walk.

I booked this bnb when I visited my family in Sri Lanka. I needed a place that looked like my home for several days until my home renovation was complete. This listing was perfect since it was within walking distance of the Pelawatta junction. I bet anyone who is visiting the Overseas International School would greatly appreciate this location since it is a short walk away. The property manager/caretaker was extremely polite and very responsive. I liked the layout of the house. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for my parents while the kids and I had it upstairs. The kitchen and the dining area were a daily hangout place where we would sit down and chat for hours, a very cozy and homely place. Enjoyed my stay and made my visit to Sri Lanka even better! thank you!

We stayed here for three months with our 9-month-old baby and had a wonderful experience. The house was safe, spacious, and perfect for any family. As first-time parents, we really appreciated the extra support—some of the owner’s relatives live nearby and were incredibly kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Amila was also a fantastic communicator and co-host, always quick to respond and help sort out any issues in the house. We truly felt looked after and enjoyed our stay very much.

We had an amazing stay at Dilshan's place! Everything was absolutely perfect, and Dilshan was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. What truly stood out was his exceptional hospitality — he took us on an unforgettable one-day trip to Kandy and Sigiriya Rock, a journey that typically takes a week to fully cover. Not only did he make it possible in a single day, but it was also much cheaper than what we would have paid using Uber. The location of the Airbnb was also fantastic, with Keells supermarket just a short walk away and plenty of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Dilshan goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience.
