We realized when we arrived that we had actually stayed at this place once before over a decade ago. Brought back great memories! We had a rather scary adventure this time when, on our second day, the house across the road caught fire and quickly burned to the ground in front of our eyes (speculation was that it was an electrical fire), and we feared it might catch the forest on fire. Sumerhaven's volunteer fire department was quickly at the scene and the forest (and all surrounding homes) were safe, but the fire also took out a transformer that also took down the power at our place. Amazingly, the electric utility was quickly at the scene and worked into the night to restore power which came back on that night. It was sad for the other owners (who had that other house in their family since the 1950s), and though no fault of our host Darby's, she was eager to make amends and kindly offered a discount for our next visit. We will be back!

This air bnb has a great location! It’s set beautifully within the mountains and within walking distance to a few restaurants. It was extremely clean and instructions to access it were great. We would stay there again!

My family and I have been staying here for years and still look forward to each visit! Alan is a wonderful host. The bedrooms feel very private and the common area feels open and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and the property is easy to find. I will continue to stay here every time I visit Tucson.

From the start, Kaitlyn and Brandon were super responsive. The pictures are not an exaggeration. The place is gorgeous, pool/spa fantastic, and home is comfortable and accessible. If anything didn't quite meet an expectation, which was rare, it was resolved immediately. If you're staying in Tucson, you can't do better.

We had a peaceful stay. The decor was pretty cool (sharky had style!) and the place is in proximity to plenty of restaurants and things to do. Clay and Aaron were great hosts.

We were very happy with our stay. We had an issue with blowing a fuse, but we called the property manager and he responded immediately. He also was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The home is very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with needed dishes, cooking utensils, pans, etc. The grill came in very handy also. We enjoyed the hot tub and watched the sunrise several mornings, drinking our coffee just as Tammy had suggested! Great way to start the day! We enjoyed spending part of our day out on the back terrace area. While the pool wasn't heated so we couldn't enjoy that aspect, I did finally venture in the end of our stay. It still made the outside very peaceful and relaxing. A bonus was picking fresh oranges off the tree in the terrace for our morning breakfasts. They were so juicy! Lots of good shopping, places to eat, and golf courses nearby. Also easy access to main highways and roads so easy to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Such a fun getaway place in Tucson! You never have to leave the property and you’ll have a blast. So much to do and a great place to reconnect with family/friends and just relax. Quiet and peaceful, close to store, restaurants and the ball fields/Keno sports complex. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in town.

This stay was nothing more than exceptional! I had one slight concern that was addressed immediately and James went above any expectations I had to provide resolution. James was polite, respectful, compassionate and understanding. This home was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and worth every dime. We did not want to leave! I 10/10 would absolutely recommend!! Thank you so much James! And hot tub….AMAZINGGG!

Danie was very helpful and responsive. Property matched the Airbnb description. It was less than 20 minutes from Saguaro NP. We enjoyed our visit. Would recommend this property.
