Corinna is very friendly and outgoing. She is more than happy to recommend activities and restaurants. She has thought of everything that someone would need or want and then goes ABOVE that. (I LOVED the heated toilet seat!) Everything is as represented in the pics and is in pristine condition. We were here for 4 nights during a get-away to see the area and visit with an elderly uncle. We enjoyed the hot tub and took the paddleboat out. I wish we would have stayed longer to have more time to enjoy hanging out at the house. I hope to come back to La Casita soon.

To help others know what they are getting, this place should be listed as a 1 bed studio, not 2 bedroom. It is a very open floorplan. Originally, there were 4 of us adult friends going on this trip, and this place would not have worked at all as advertised, for sleeping arrangements. There is no door for the bathroom and the shower is directly behind the opening, which has very short curtains. This made things extremely awkward for my male traveling companion and I, who are just friends. The kitchen has a hot plate, some appliances, and enough kitchen utensils to make a decent meal. The farm animals were friendly and welcoming, even to my German shepherd. This place is very dog friendly and they even allowed us to use an outside dog bath after a lake day. They are a very friendly family and took care of everything we needed.

We enjoyed our 3rd stay at Jon's place, even though the weather wasn't as cooperative as usual. This is a very peaceful and relaxing stop for us during our month in Florida. This area did get hit hard by the last Hurricane and it's sad to see that. Jon's place is back to normal with an updated kitchen and nice new eating counter and all the appreciated outdoor amenities. Aripeka is a very special area. We really enjoyed talking with Lou Charity (long time resident and historian) at the nearby library and historical museum. Jon is a great host and we really appreciate his early arrival and late departure times!

The house is just a few steps from the water and getting out on the kayaks was amazing. Nice quiet street with no noise at all! Great house if you’re in the Crystal River area!

This place was perfect for me. When I had questions, I always got a response and was always very helpful. Everyone was so nice there. I felt at home and was everything that I hoped for. Thank you!!

Kristina and Beth, who managed the property, were the kindest and most pleasant hosts. They made us feel right at home and let us wander around the property anytime we liked. The horses, cows, chickens, and especially the dogs, were so much fun. We could interact with them as little or as much as we preferred. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. We had a fabulous time! It was a great peaceful getaway and we can't wait to come back! One of our favorite Airbnb stays ever!

From the time of booking to checkout, Jan was very responsive and kept us informed about the process. The funky flamingo sits on a quiet street that has convenient access to the river. We had so much fun boating to the springhead and cruising the river. My young girls LOVED her place and felt right at home. We had everything we needed and the house was exactly as described. I would highly recommend Jan’s place. It was adorable and the lanai is such a great relaxing place! We hope to come back soon.

The place was perfect, just what I was looking for, much better than expected! We spent the perfect four days in a very long time! Quiet and peaceful. Very grateful of this days, the host was super nice. For sure will be back! Again thank you for letting us stay at that beautiful place!❤️

If you want some place to just go relax in nature this is the place for you. We brought my golden retriever and she had so much room to run. And the house made us immediately feel like home. she had everything we needed and then some. I highly recommend this place!

Very responsive hosts. Clean! Friendly neighbor that lives in main home on property. Hardly knew anyone one else lived in main home. Loved having a laundry option. Beautiful area, lots to do and perfect for morning walks. Look forward to visiting again.

Stayed several nights. Place was easy to find, clean and comfortable. Private, peaceful setting but not too far from restaurants and shopping. Appreciated the washer and dryer to catch up on laundry on the road. Will stay here again when in the area.

We enjoyed our two weeks at the cottage - it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved being on the lake. Inverness has so much to offer with parks and lots of local restaurants! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was perfect for my best friends and I to have an awesome weekend reunion. I moved out of the area over a year ago and it was a perfect spot to spend time with those I love and miss the most. We had gone to the dam (recreation area less than a mile away) when we were kids and it was really neat to visit it again more than 20 years later. The beautiful view from the backyard was incredible and the sunsets looked more like paintings than pictures. Our gracious hosts were accommodating for my dogs, which was a necessity. The grill was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a big tub in the master bathroom that the youngest child was ecstatic for. The tv met everyone’s needs and the WiFi was decent. If it’s available for our next reunion, then it will become a tradition. Thank you for lending us your home for this unforgettable weekend of gingerbread houses, fishing, Christmas movies, good music, and cooking great food with friends and family!

The screened patio was our #1 favorite amenity. Use of the carport was great too and the gates offered extra privacy The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We did not use the boat ramp or the kayaks but I can see where both would be beneficial. I would have liked a luggage rack. Unfortunately the sheets on the bed were stained so we remade the bed with the extras there. We had an issue with a remote too and both problems were addressed by Summer and Rebecca in a timely manner. This is a nice little cottage. Perfect for two people.

Wonderful host and wonderful home. Seanie was incredibly responsive. The home was convenient to WEC, cozy, clean and safe. Excellent experience.

Kym and John were really nice to talk to and gave lots of great information about the area for things to do!

It was such a peaceful stay. The sounds of nature was abundant. Its a very nice place to stay and eould definitely stay again.

Hideaway House was in the perfect location for our birdwatching plans. It is beautiful and very comfortable and provided everything we needed. It was unfortunately too chilly to make full use of the front porch and back deck, but in warmer weather both would have been perfect to just sit and relax. We loved Micanopy and Ocala and enjoyed the beautiful nature all around. Thank you very much Stephanie & JB.

We stayed at Jim & Wendy’s place for 3 nights, it was perfect for us 2. The cottage had everything we needed, even a washer and dryer. It is close the everything in Crystal River and Homosassa!! We love the area, visited Three Sisters Springs and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. The manatees were there because it was too cold for them in the River so they came into the springs. Thanks Jim & Wendy
