Very nice place to stay and with 2 good access points to the mountain. We were worried it would smell like animals bc it is pet friendly but it did NOT smell. We would definitely stay here again.

The cozy basement suite was so nice and spacious with its large living room area & the gas log fireplace. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything. There are plenty of towels for shower and hot tub. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. Brad is the kindest host that we have ever met and he was very helpful with suggestions for local restaurants - he even offered to pick up dinner for us! And he gave us a beautiful calendar for 2025. Thank you, Brad & Susan, for an amazing stay! We will not look for another place on our next ski trip in the area (and hopefully it will be available since the words are getting out about this amazing place).

Absolutely loved our stay at Red Stag! Beautiful home with plenty of room for our family of 14. The hosts were quick to answer any questions & even gave us a heads up with an issue they found with one of the downstairs heaters before arriving. Perfect location for any ski-lovers out there with plenty of other things to do around the area!

We were able to relax, which was most important to us during this much needed family vacation. The cabin is so cozy and adorably appointed. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and then some. Amy was right about the deer. They were so friendly and beautiful to watch. The road was very amenable to morning strolls and afternoon walks, the views were breathtaking. We hope to make this a new yearly tradition. Thank you so much, Amy. We highly recommend Amy’s cabin.

If you’re looking for a magical piece of paradise in the mountains this is your place. My fiancé and our two puppies stayed for the weekend. It was incredibly relaxing, quiet and the views are breathtaking. Nancy is so accommodating, responsive and kind. She has done such an amazing job making sure everything you could possibly need is available. A few of my favorite things about our stay: - Nancy greeting us up the hill and signaling where to park at the very late hour we arrived - Cozying up by the fireplace looking at the views - Meeting the goats on our morning walk - Full kitchen equipped with everything we needed to make meals - Comfy bed and a good nights rest - The Hangar (SO COOL!!) - The home design, big windows and a beautiful shower while looking at the mountains - ROBES! So many to choose from and so cute - The prepared puppy station, we did not use but really appreciated it. Thank you Nancy <3 we are excited to come back and make more memories.

Had an excellent time at Tanya’s. Went to ski at Sugar Mountain, and the place was just as described. Views were beautiful and the place was clean and well-stocked.

Lovely home in Beech mountain only a mile or so from the slopes, fully equipped kitchen, nice comfortable beds and linens, great functioning, hot tub.

Awesome stay! The cabin is full of fun, you really don’t have to leave. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens. I especially loved the fans upstairs since it is warmer. Do let it be noted that the drive up the mountain to the cabin is very scary and I would recommend arriving during the day. Other than that, a great stay.

The home was very very clean, nicely decorated, cozy and charming. The coffee bar was so nice, and well stocked with coffee and teas. The beds were very comfortable and with 3 bedrooms, we all had our own space. There were 3 areas to sit and relax, read and watch TV. The front porch and back porch are charming. It was a bit too chilly when we stayed so we couldn't take advantage of it. It was a very quiet setting and we saw 3 deer in the back one morning. It is a short drive to the highway . Eileen was very responsive and considerate. We really enjoyed the Tennessee charm. I would recommend this home and would stay again when I am back in Tennessee. The condo is great! Nicest we’ve ever stayed in at Sugar. Spacious, nicely furnished, clean and with everything we could need in the kitchen. It was even well insulated from the noise of the upstairs unit. We could barely hear them moving around. The only downside was that it was farther than I had hoped from the ski lifts. Not too bad in snowboard boots, but a long trek in ski boots. I solved this by taking the car over to drop off my partner and son with all the gear, then parking the car back at the condo and walking to meet them in my regular shoes. Only took 10 minutes to do all that. No big deal. If there had been any ski lockers available to rent for the weekend, it would have been even easier.

A nice small cabin that sleeps quite a bit if need be, lots of outdoor activities to do, whilst the area is still recovering from the floods earlier some places aren’t as easily accessible but not much you can do about Mother Nature. Loved the movie selections they have laid out reminded me of my childhood going to blockbuster and picking out a family movie to watch (we watched the LOTR trilogy) easily laid out instructions for everything in the cabin and would definitely stay again come lookin for the opportunity.

We absolutely loved this place as a get away for a couples’ weekend so much so that we are planning to return with our children this summer. It’s very homey and has everything you need to disconnect from things and relax. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house is beautiful and situated by the river, with stunning views and a quiet, serene atmosphere. We especially loved the spacious, fenced yard which was perfect for our dogs to play safely, making the property truly dog-friendly. The porch and patio areas by the river are great for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The street in front of the house was quiet and the bathrooms are definitely a highlight of the house. Angel is incredibly kind and communicative, and made sure we felt welcome and attended to throughout our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. This house is a true gem for pet owners and anyone looking to unwind by the river. Highly recommended!

Great Host and place, especially considering they vacation there as well. We love this area and come frequently during winter to get away. We highly recommend this place, just be sure to have 4x4 if venturing the area during the winter. Thanks again Catalin, we ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay there the past few days. The condo was well laid-out and decorated nicely with a welcoming feel. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kids had a great time in the pool and hot tub. We hope to stay there again in the future. :)

Me and my two daughters really enjoyed a weekend getaway. They felt like they were in a treehouse sleeping in the big bed. The convenience of everything the ski lift in the backyard overall amenities were awesome and the memories are unplaceable. Thank you so much, Avery.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Perfect place to stay on my snowboarding trip, extremely clean space, beautiful view, and immediate access to the slopes. would definitely recommend, and if i find myself at coming to sugar mountain again i would absolutely stay here.

A large spacious home with an open floor plan. The backyard had such a beautiful view. The house was beautifully decorated with such a Home away from home feel! So close to Bristol motor speedway!!! My family of eight hung out by the pool, grilled steaks and cooked casseroles in the two ovens!! The hostess was so sweet, she provided everything we needed from sunscreen to towels to spices! This house has it all everything we needed!!! Master suite is a plus! If we go to the races next year will definitely rent this home again! Thank you again for your hospitality!

Great place and very welcoming. We took our 4yo daughter for a nice little “spring break” trip to the mtns. She (and we) loved this space. Pool was a hit!!
