Beautiful vintage home with a great view and private even though it’s in a small city. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything we were looking for, will return if we have the opportunity!!

this place was just so beautiful..right in town yet so peaceful and private. nice get away. the linens are also very nice from towels to bedding...it is very cozy very nice. I would recommend and I would definitely stay again

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

Dave was great! Check-in was super easy, the place is very nice, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and if you have questions he's very responsive. Would stay again!

Place was nice for our one night stay!

The Banker’s House was a great place for my honeymoon with my husband! It was very small, but cozy for the two of us. The location is perfectly placed between Beckley, Fayetteville, and New River Gorge making it easy to find something to do or eat. My only recommendation is to bring a small humidifier with you if you are partial to dry air/heat. The heating was comfortable, and we didn’t want to change the temperature, but I did find myself having very dry skin, hair, and nose. Nonetheless, The Banker’s House is great, and we would 100% stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin for a cozy Valentine’s Day retreat. The rain/snow couldn’t keep us from enjoying the beautiful outdoors and after being outside we would warm back up in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to make the most delicious meals. The cabin made us feel right at home the moment we walked inside. Thank you Joseph for helping us create wonderful memories!

Quaint, charming and cozy. Just as described with all the amenities you could need. Short drive to national park and Fayetteville. Allison was a great host - proactive and responsive. My only critique is the cleaning fee is a high.

Great location for adventuring in the New! Quiet, easy to find and spacious we would definitely go back. Couches were super comfy & the heated vent in the bathroom was a nice touch. We got froze out of our camping spot over the weekend and needed a last minute place to crash and Harry was so helpful and responsive.
