Great place to stay in Placencia Village. It is near to all of the village amenities, and is about 25 yards off of the sidewalk, with another building in between, so it is *quiet*. Our room was a one-bedroom apartment layout, with bedroom/batch separate from the living/kitchen area. This was perfect for us and the kitchen was well equipped, from dishes and cooking utensils to spices and condiments. We had several really hot days while we were there, so the plunge pool was an excellent amenity and not something many places have. Jody and Dora were excellent hosts and helped us arrange taxis and tours we were interested in. This is definitely will be our first choice for a place to stay on our next visit. Cannot wait to reconnect with this team!

Well thought out accommodation with lovely views of the sea. The grounds were very well kept and the beach was raked and cleaned twice during our five day stay. There are two kayaks onsite as well as two paddle boards which were great fun to use. It’s a very quiet location and you will need your own transport to get around. We enjoyed evening walks along the back roads and we were very sorry that we had forgotten our binoculars as the bird life was abundant. We will definitely stay again.

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

Perfect for us. This is our second time at the Updeh at Ohana and we'll be back again. Easy access to everything in Placencia, wonderful view of the sunrise, ocean, and palms from kitchen, bedroom, and porch. Quiet and private, clean and cool. Everything is exactly as pictured/described. Wonderful amenities (AC, W/D, kitchen with stove, and an espresso machine! Giles and Isabelle are excellent hosts and very proactive and responsive to communications.

We have stayed in 3 different places in Placencia and this is our new favorite. It’s quiet at night while still being near all of the restaurants and bars. The accommodations are just as they look in the photos. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. It was clean and quaint. I checked in late due to a fishing trip and the host was accommodating. Great beach just steps away and meant of restaurants close by. Very modern shower and good A/C. I would stay here again! Placencia is a beautiful place and I hope to stay longer next time. From Canada, thank you!

The house was as advertised. Nice and spacious and plenty of towels, linens. Well stocked Kitchen and nice outdoor space upstairs and downstairs. Host was responsive and always quick to answer! The location was not directly in town where we thought it was but it is literally a mile or so from where we thought it was. Host is fixing the location on AirBnb. This is a very spacious home but it is separate floors only connecting from outside so great if you have adult couples but wouldn’t work well if you had smaller children. Overall, lovely stay in a beautiful home.

Rum Point was incredible! Martin and Bones made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Having access to all the amenities at Turtle Inn was amazing and allowed us to enjoy the activities, restaurants and beach bar for quick visits then retreat back to Martin’s private paradise. One of the few Airbnb’s we also immediately said the pictures do not come close to doing it justice. Everything was spectacular from the house decorations, to the gardens, to the pool and the best sunrises. To top it off we all loved having the Rum Point Pack visit especially Princess and Moira! An experience like we’ve never had and can’t wait to return!

Great property and excellent location!!!This property is located on the Peninsula of Placencia and located in the plantation area of Placencia. This area offers a wealth of culture and accessibility to places to eat ,waterfront beaches,and pick up and drop off to the many excursions in and around Beilze.We were surprised to find such modern accommodations close to this property as well. There is 1981 an upscale restaurant located at the Naia resort, there is Umaya another upscale restaurantand resort close by as well.For desert there is an upscale and modern little ice cream parlor called "Chillpoint" just next to Sein Bight about 10 minutes down the road and several other restaurants and local businesses.We felt at home in the Oceanside Cabanas and werevery pleased with the ambiance and privacy it offered.This place is a gem and the amenities are well thought out.All in all we would definitely rate this among one of the best AirBnb properties we have had the pleasure of recommending.

Absolutely stunning home with a serene location! The home was spotless and better than pictured with beautiful views of the beach and ocean from every room. Albert and Francee were so kind and helpful they made us feel like we were in our own private resort. The owner provided great details and suggestions in advance of us arriving and Albert made sure to check in regularly during the week and give us lots of recommendations to ensure we made the most of our vacation while also making sure it felt like home; so much so that we were sad to leave. We’d recommend this location to everyone and can’t wait to return again in the future.

This was an absolute amazing place to stay to end our short Belize getaway! We had the beach and dock to ourselves the first night and most of the following day as the nearby casita wasn't rented. Lucas (property manager) came by shortly after we arrived to answer our questions and to take care of a minor repair (a/c in the kitchen). While it wasn't able to be rectified during ur stay, the weather was nice enough to simply use the fan to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. Check-in was simple and the home is truly wonderful and very comfortable! Both Brad and Lucas were quick to communicate and answer our questions. Highly recommend staying at this home if you head to Placencia and don't want to be right in the hustle and bustle of town and want a little privacy for your group!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It is even better than the photos. So private and spotlessly clean. The beach club and start of the Placencia boardwalk is about 0.4 miles walk across a not busy road and after having that separation, I wouldn’t want to be closer to it. We absolutely loved our pool and our snorkel tour guide was able to pick us up right outside our door in his boat! We had everything we needed, even the water is filtered and you can drink it right out of the tap. I would love to stay here again and Bonnie is an amazing host with lots of great recommendations and so easy to get ahold of for any questions. Thanks so much for sharing your space! I hope we can return again soon!

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed at - from offering home cooked meals and helped with telling me where the pharmacy was. Just wonderful people!

We had a great time in Placencia. The place was perfect for our needs - spacious, comfy, clean linens, and had all the amenities we needed. It was nice to walk to the resort and have access to the pool and restaurant. Vincent was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed and to make recommendations. The house is a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall a great stay in Belize!

We were two couples who stayed in Michelle’s condo fairly last minute when our accommodations were cancelled. Check in was smooth with Jack”s assistance and condo was great. Perfect space for the 4 of us . Edwin and his family were lovely and always ready to take us on the boat ride across the canal for the short walk/bike ride to town. Edwin and Jack were both very responsive and always willing to help arrange cabs/excursions. Would definitely stay again.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Cocoplum Condos are great. We have stayed at over 20 condos in the past few years. The pool area is our all time favorite. It has beautiful trees for partial shade and is next to a lovely sand beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We had a car rental and Herbert sent directions to the condo and was waiting for us when we arrived. We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings when we weren't in the pool or hot tub! This is a perfect condo for two couples or a family with children.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

So happy we found this place! The location was perfect for us. We walked to town for groceries, dining, gifts and visited the many beaches along the main beach sidewalk. We cooked most days, but the days we would dine out, the food was amazing. Edwin, the property caretaker, was extremely helpful with recommendations and was always available to take us across the canal. He goes out of his way to help us. One day our rental car battery died and Edwin helped us get ahold of the rental company to pick us up because our phones could not make calls in Belize. We were able to use a chat thru whats app to communicate. I hope to come back! What an amazing vacation. Only feedback would be to add a pillow top on the master bedroom king bed. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.

A wonderful uncrowded resort with all of the amenities you need. Great condo, fully equipped with everything you’ll need. Herbert and the other staff are so friendly and helpful, they were wonderful! The pool is amazing, we played in the water and jumped off the pier. We ate next door twice and enjoyed how quick it was to get to Placencia

Our 2nd year visiting and staying here…great value at a great location. Loved the whole pontoon boat experience getting over to the condos…especially Edwin’s cheerful and professional help. And Odie the boat dog was a bonus! Walk to town and easy access to the whole village.We’ll be back.
