We loved our stay so much, the space is beautiful with lots of natural light, great studio layout. Mariel was very helpful throughout our stay, and it was so nice to do a Pilates class in her studio which is on the same property. It's in a very peaceful part of Tamarindo, but still close by to the town center. We will definitely stay here again in the future! It's my fave place I've stayed in Tamarindo thus far, and I go often. Happy to have found this gem. Thanks Mariel for making our stay amazing!

What a beautiful property! Laura was amazing and went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately, my husband got very sick on his first day there, following a trip to La Fortuna. Laura was away but arranged to have her caretaker take us to the doctor, they even provided us with cough medicine and rides to get groceries/supplies. Her and the caretakers were so helpful and attentive. The air bnb itself was well maintained and had a stunning pool/view. We would love to return when my husband is feeling better to really enjoy it. Highly suggest having a car or golf cart for the hill, but it’s doable if you’re in full health! Close to everything but far enough away that you don’t hear anything at night. 10/10 recommend this beautiful place! Also, their house dog Bookie was a sweetie, loved his big smile every time I returned.

Just an amazing stay. Very clean. I’m a little… bougie. But I was quite impressed with the stay and the level of cleanliness, which means a lot coming from me. Well maintained. Great time. Pool was cleaned daily. Jurgen seems like a straight up guy. We had no issues on our stay but I’m sure if we did he would address them rapidly. We were in need of batteries and he had them there within the hour! This is quite the hidden gem. Great value if you’re looking to either A) just sit poolside and relax Or B)treat it like your home base. Use the money you’re saving compared to other similar places that are double the price and not even as clean, and rent a car and travel all over The cherry on top was the groundskeeper, Jenaro. What an incredible human being. When you stay here, feel free to ask Jurgen or Jenaro about what he recommends. You can’t go wrong. Must stay place. No complaints 10/10

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay with an excellent location in Potrero Guanacaste! Ideally located near stunning beaches and local conveniences. Can't wait to come back!

Un excelente lugar , llegamos y todo estaba limpio y ordenado, el lugar muy seguro y muy tranquilo esta ubicado en un excelente lugar para trasladarse a cualquier playa de la zona y tiene la comodidad de tener supermercados y restaurantes cerca , en general fue una linda experiencia disfrutar de un fin de semana ahí, 100% recomendados

Great place for the price, in a secured gated community 10 minutes away from the tarmarindo strip. Felt very safe, definitely need a vehicle, every room had a/c, tv has netflix, kitchen has pots and pans but nothing else so if you want to cook you have to buy everything other then salt and pepper Check in was easy, pool was a bonus

We loved Casa Mariposa—everything was just as described on the platform. It's located 20 minutes from Tamarindo and very close to our family, which was essential for us. All the rooms have good air conditioning and ceiling fans, perfect for such hot weather. The pool was super clean, and the water was amazing. The house is fully equipped, and the garage fits two large cars. My only comment is that the kitchen and living room get quite hot; I would recommend installing an AC unit for that area in the future. Ronny is a wonderful person—attentive and constantly checking in on us.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! The villa was inside a gated community and the grounds as well as the pool area were very well maintained. The villa itself was spectacular! It was very bright, clean and modern. It was such a comfortable space to relax and unwind after exploring the beaches of Guanacaste. The kitchen came equipped with everything you needed to prepare a meal (spices,cookware, utensils, etc.) and there quite a few tasty restaurants on or near the beach a few minutes drive away. Tamarindo was about a 25 minute drive. We are a family of four and would not hesitate to stay here again… absolute stellar stay!

Stayed here with my husband and 4 kids (ages 8-18). We had a great time and were very comfortable. Six people is a bit tight but having three bathrooms and the washer made it very doable. My kids spent hours in the pool and I read in the shade, it was so peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and the ACs worked great which was wonderful because it was quite hot. We did not rent a car so had to walk around. We easily walked to the little Shopping center about 7 minutes away. It was a 20 minute walk to Coco Beach, but the walk was on the road so pretty dusty and hot. The hosts were very responsive and check in was easy. There is a bit of a hill to climb to get to the condo; we saw a lot of people on golf carts so you could probably rent one to get around if you wanted. Overall our family loved it and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this little beachfront property. The sunsets were unbelievable! We were visited by cats and dogs and birds. We got to watch locals enjoy the beach on the Sunday that we arrived and we were even invited to join the bonfire. It was a great place to end our vacation!

We spent a beautiful week at Casa Mariposa. We were 4 adults and 4 teens and the space was perfect for us. The house was spacious and there was lots of room for everyone. The location was great and very walkable to good restaurants and the spectacular beach! Appreciated the ample number of beach towels, the beach chairs and the tent. We would love to go back one day!

If you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Playas del Coco, but be within reach of all the adventures this part of Costa Rica has to offer, we would recommend unit 37 in the Hermosa Heights subdivision. We found the unit and subdivision to be comfortable, safe and secure. There is an ocean view and a nice pool to relax. The patio is big enough for 6 and a nice place to send your mornings and evenings checking out the birds and local iguanas. The kitchen was well equipped, and we managed fine for 5 days. Any issues with water supply have been addressed. We lost power for an hour one day, but it was not an inconvenience. All the ACs and bathrooms were functioning fine; and the fact that there is a washer/dryer was really nice for a longer stay. There is a movie theatre, fish monger, wine shop and other amenities on prem. We did not have time to enjoy them all. The local beach requires a drive, but it takes less than 10 mins. There is parking for 1 car at the unit.

Kimberly’s place was spacious and virtually perfect. Loved the design and kitchen had EVERYTHING! Pool great. We even had monkeys outside our kitchen window! Only minor issues were water pressure/temp control in master bath and a loud A/C in master bedroom (I use ear plugs so it didn’t bother me but my partner had some difficulty sleeping the one night with it).

We absolutely loved Patrick’s place! It was everything we hoped for and more. We felt right at home and safe at all times. Everything is extremely walkable - the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Patrick was easy to communicate with, and very quick to respond to any and every question we had. Thank you so much, Patrick! We were also amazed by every detail that was thought of, to make sure we had the best possible stay (kitchen supplies, beach chairs, grocery bags, picnic bag- you name it)! We hope to be back in the very near future!

Laura and Melissa were very welcoming, and helped us with an early check in. They were very responsive to all messages and made us feel right at home. The place is very close to the beach, and about a 15 minute walk to the main high street of del cocos. It’s a really nice apartment, and had everything we needed for a good stay. We also booked some snorkelling with Rich Coast diving whilst we were there and saw pufferfish and a turtle amongst a myriad of other brightly coloured fish and eels. All in all a brilliant stay! The unit was clean and comfortable. The pool was a highlight—it was clean, warm, and big enough to accommodate different groups from other condos in the complex. We loved the shade trees, which kept the patio cool, and the outdoor seating/dining area with views of the pool. We had monkeys thundering across our roof early one morning, but we thought that was neat. I was worried without central AC we would be too hot, but the two bedroom window units kept us comfortable. Stephanie was friendly and very responsive. The area was on the expensive side but we felt safe and there was a lot to do. Overall this was our favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica!
