This place was absolutely perfect for our surfing trip!! Private beach access, beautiful yard looking out to the ocean and spacious home. The hostess was responsive and communicative and very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. I hate to write this review as I don’t want anyone else to know about the place as I would like to keep it to ourselves next year. ☺️. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Absolutely a wonderful place and wonderful hosts!!

We had a wonderful time at this little beachfront property. The sunsets were unbelievable! We were visited by cats and dogs and birds. We got to watch locals enjoy the beach on the Sunday that we arrived and we were even invited to join the bonfire. It was a great place to end our vacation!

We LOVED our stay at Villa Neptune. The outside area with the pool was perfect for the very hot Costa Rica days. The pictures are exactly what the property is. The beach is right across the street and almost always empty. Conchal beach is about a 15 min walk. Definitely worth a visit! You are surrounded by local Costa Ricans, not a tourist attraction at all and that is what we preferred. Plenty of touristy things to do not too far from the house. The best thing that came with this house was the caretaker, Vidal! He was a huge asset to us. He used to work as a tourist guide so he can direct you and help you pick your excursions. He drove us places several times when asked and he was even our own personal guide for a day at Diamanté. He rented a shuttle, bc their were 8 of us, and drove us all over the country. He set my family up on a snorkeling adventure and they had the best morning! This is not something most airbnbs have access too! Muriel will send you everything you need

To say we had a fabulous stay would be an understatement. The location was perfect (not too busy, but not too far from restaurants/shopping etc) and Shawna was super helpful in all aspects of our stay including great local restaurant and excursion recommendations (local horseback riding ranch was phenomenal as were our surf instructors!). Tatiana was amazing and her cooking was delicious (highly recommend utilizing her cooking-I am still dreaming about her Arepas). We always felt safe and comfortable at the house and it was perfect for our group's two young families (kids ages 9, 8, 5, 4 and 3). The house also had easy to carry beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards and games. The living area/kitchen was a great hangout space and the outside spaces were also wonderful. So sad to have to leave but will hopefully be back in the future! Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay at Jarrod’s place was incredible! Best vacation house you could ask for. Perfect location right on the beach but still super private. Having a swimming pool right on the ocean is about as good as it gets, we usually spend most of our vacation time at the beach but this house was so great we wound up spending more time by the pool. Also the house is stocked very well, everything an Airbnb/rental house should have this house has. Jarrod was very accommodating and helped us with transportation and Covid testing at the house. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Playa Negra area! We will definitely be coming back!

OBSESSED. The views, the space, the communication, the location… y’all. We’re sooooooo happy with our stay!!! We felt like kids in a candy shop exploring this house. It’s just SO beautiful. The decor and amenities inside are super thoughtful. The views are breathtaking!! We loved sitting on the porch sipping coffee, reading, etc. We loved the proximity to Father Rooster’s—a sweet little restaurant close by. It’s super tourist-friendly, but still felt authentic. Check in was smooth, after making contact with the on-site security (which we greatly appreciated!!). Communication with our host throughout the process was flawless! A couple of things to note: 1) The A/C units worked perfectly in the bedrooms; keeping the main living area cool during the heat of the day was a little tougher. But you are in Central America, after all! 2) The main bed was too soft for us. 3) Keep in mind that CR is a developing country, this house is on the edge of the neighborhood, and CR driving is nutty!

A beautiful and well equipped home, great and responsive hosts and local manager. Quick and easy walk to the beach. Beach club access was very advantageous. we would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing stay! The house in Playa Potrero exceeded all expectations—it’s even better than the pictures! It’s spacious, incredibly comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. The pool is beautiful, perfect for relaxing, and the location is unbeatable, with so many stunning beaches just a short drive away. Enis went above and beyond, taking care of every little detail to make our stay perfect. You can truly feel the care put into this home. If you're looking for a stress-free, comfortable getaway in a fantastic location, this is the place to book. Highly recommended! the kitchen had absolutely everything needed for our stay.

We had a wonderful time at La Ola Perfecta! The home is private, serene, and beautifully laid out. Our family agrees that we have never experienced a home that was so thoughtfully organized! All of the appliances and kitchen items were first rate — great pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and small appliances. All the beds were clean and comfortable. We loved the butler’s pantry for making coffee, and keeping the space clean during our stay. Our kids had a blast in the pool and using the bunk room. La Ola Perfecta’s layout is ideal for families so that everyone can have their own space. The home is well managed, clean, and felt new. Although we utilized the outdoor space extensively, we were grateful to have the interior space be secure, cool, and closed off entirely from any outdoor critters, the heat, etc. Jessica was very helpful for questions we had about the area and property, and guests are lucky to stay at La Ola Perfecta!

La casa es espectacular, espaciosa y súper moderna. La calle es de lastre y si se tarda mucho tiempo en salir a la carretera principal. Las playas cercanas son muy rocosas, así que pudimos aprovechar bastante la piscina y las amenidades de la casa.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! The villa was inside a gated community and the grounds as well as the pool area were very well maintained. The villa itself was spectacular! It was very bright, clean and modern. It was such a comfortable space to relax and unwind after exploring the beaches of Guanacaste. The kitchen came equipped with everything you needed to prepare a meal (spices,cookware, utensils, etc.) and there quite a few tasty restaurants on or near the beach a few minutes drive away. Tamarindo was about a 25 minute drive. We are a family of four and would not hesitate to stay here again… absolute stellar stay!

Beautiful quiet location in playa langosta. Courtyard outside was really pretty and peaceful. Small rooftop pool was great, grilled was full of propane and functioned well. Spacious bedrooms, a little hot when we first entered but we cooled it down to 17-18 C. Kitchen was great, beds were comfy and was right across from the beach. Loved it

We had an amazing stay with 12 kids/teenagers at Casa Uluwatu for our twins birthday party. The open living space, the very well stocked kitchen, the amazing pool, the comfy beds, the proximity to the beach…everything was perfect!Ginny the host has been extremely friendly, flexible and easy to communicate with. Strongly recommend this accommodation. The thing that we really loved is that you enter the home, you're still technically outdoors the common living areas are exposed to the sky but the place is nice and private for yourself and your friends. The bedrooms are fully protected which made sleeping very comfortable. It was really nice being able to jump into the pool and then walk around the common areas without having to dry off. Location was perfect. It was a peaceful location but still within walking distance of everything so just left the cars and walked everywhere. Would definitely stay here again

We had an absolutely magical stay at Casa Pelicana! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how impeccably clean and welcoming the space was. The location couldn’t have been better—perfectly situated to explore all the nearby attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to cook meals when we weren’t out enjoying the local restaurants. The decor is absolutely stunning—tasteful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, creating a relaxing and charming atmosphere. But what truly set this stay apart was Hazel’s incredible hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. I can’t wait to return and experience the magic of Casa Pelicana again. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice Tico house. This house is best for those who want to enjoy outdoor living. The pool was nice. The outdoor kitchen was nice. The 7-8 outdoor seating area were nice. There is a cool path right to beach which is just steps away. If you need a large, sealed living room and indoor dining to watch TV this may not be the place for you. But if you enjoy open air during the day and rooms with great AC at night you may love this place like we did. Eva cooked us breakfast every morning. Concierge checked us in. Roberto is the hound keeper and I felt comforted that that people would not wander onto the property.

We loved our stay at Las Palmitas in Playa Junquillal! Chiara, the property manager, was amazing—responsive, professional, and warm. She greeted us, gave a great tour, shared local tips, and was flexible with checkout. The property was modern, clean, and well-equipped—we lacked nothing. It’s close to two beaches (a short walk, though we drove). The rural vibe, with dirt roads (4x4 recommended), added charm. Bernardo’s by Playa Junquillal was a highlight—sunsets there are unreal. Locals were friendly and laid-back. Costa Rica is stunning, and Las Palmitas made our trip perfect. We’ll be back!

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

Steps to a very quiet beach with great surfing, but very little shade. Cafe mar Azul a short walk away had delicious food and was well priced. Pool was a little small, but perfect for a quick dip. Air conditioning was essential and worked well. Recommend that you look for pipe house on a map to find the Airbnb (next door).

I liked Lot 99. The accommodations in the house were perfect. I will return as soon as possible and plan on staying there the rest of my visits to Costa Rica. The use of the garage was wonderful and easy to unload my groceries from the store. this villa had no stairs and had hand railing to go into the pool, which was wonderful for me. I stayed in Pacifico the last eight years at different places. I find this place to be the best.

I wish that I could give this home 10 stars!!! It is absolutely pristine! It is on a quiet street, but still an easy walk to the beach and great restaurants. We rented a golf cart to use for the week, which was perfect for zipping around town and to neighboring beaches. The layout of the house was perfect for family or group of friends, with TONS of space to spread out! All of the bedrooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could want, and there were lots of beach supplies available in the garage. The pool was the perfect temperature and size, and we used it daily. There is a variety of places to sit outside, which makes it easy to always have a spot to sit in the sun or the shade. The outdoor shower and half bathroom were great! We were SO sad to leave this amazing home - I will be recommending it to friends and family, and can’t wait to come back!

The house is perfectly designed to accommodate a large group, kids friendly, clean and well located, about 7 min walk to the beach. Alex was super nice, allowed us to check in earlier, provided very clear directions and check in instructions. She always responded quickly, provided great local recommendations, and connected us with a great chef, who turned out to be cheaper than any restaurant and prepared enough food to last for days. Our family of 10 really enjoyed the house :)

We were in 3 families (14 people) and all of them loved The house as also how Vanessa supported us! We had such a great time that The week pass so fast! The house had everything we needed and Vanessa responded our questions in Real time!! All The towels and accessories are brand New and The size of the house was perfect tô fit all my group! The hacienda Pinilla is also wonderful! A very calm place, no noise, we can run /walk around and with 5usd day each person can use the Beach Club which hás gym and a wonderful swimimg pool and bar / Restaurant. There are also The Marriot restaurants which are awesome and Lola sunset bar point which is wonderful! We are a surf group so The Beach in the condomínio is wonderful to take very good waves! Summarizing, it was a perfect mini vacation! We loved everything and we thanks Vanessa a lot! She makes The diference!
