Our stay was phenomenal. The property is a gem and Leonie truly went above and beyond - she was communicative, flexible, and provided fantastic recommendations including suggestions for a babysitter and photographer. It was the first time that our 1.5 year old had a non-family member as a babysitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As for the photographer, the property is so beautiful and it was such a special trip for our family that we thought it would be nice to do a family photo shoot - it all lined up perfectly and we now have family photos that were taken at the AirBnB. The golf cart not only made everything in Samara super accessible, but it was so much fun to zip around town in. We barely even used our rental car. I could continue to go on and on about how amazing our stay was. Beyond satisfied. HIGHLY recommend.

Everything about the stay was perfect. An estate and escape that comes with so many available excursions, experiences, and transport for reasonable purchase (and not having to do any research myself, in a foreign country nonetheless) was not an easy find. My party was taken care of from the moment we stepped foot out of the airport. Small or big group, I’d HIGHLY recommend. The property managers are THE MOST accommodating and nicest people I’ve ever met (and they’re available 24/7 during your stay). If you’re not big on walking (especially in a humid jungle environment), or prefer to drive yourself around, I’d recommend renting a 4x4 or ATV as the nearest market is about a 45 min walk away. With all that said… BOOK THIS LISTING!!! ❤️

Our group of 9 (two families) stayed here for 4 nights in April 2025 and had an amazing visit. The property was just beautiful and matched the pictures and description. Super private and lots of wildlife - including howler monkeys, iguanas, foxes, and choatis that the kids oohed and awed over. Everything was very clean and the place was really well laid out for larger groups with everything you could possibly need. The big table was very well used for meals and drinks. Helena and Maria were also very responsive. We had an issue come up on our last night and even though it was relatively late on a Sunday they still both came out and communicated quickly to try and problem solve. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend others stay.

We had an amazing stay at Stefano's house near the beach in Junquillal, Costa Rica! The location is incredible—just a 2-minute walk to a stunning and peaceful beach where we practically had the place to ourselves. If you're looking for tranquility and natural beauty, this is the spot. The house itself is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is very well-furnished and had everything we needed to cook meals for our group, which we really appreciated. The open living space was perfect for spending time together, and the large roof terrace, surrounded by trees, was a favorite spot for relaxing and enjoying the view. The beds were super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us cool in the tropical heat. One thing to keep in mind is that the property is a bit isolated. While we managed without a car, we would recommend renting one to make getting around easier. The house is a bit far from national parks and other activities, so it's best suite

Our stay at Villa Lola was amazing. We had 3 families stay there and we all felt so comfortable and relaxed. They made everything so easy for us. You can walk everywhere from there and if you can’t, David will help with any transportation, and/or activity you would like to do.

Are you familiar with the concept of barefoot luxury? Well, this place has it all. To disconnect and recharge, this is the perfect spot. There’s only one TV in the hallway on the second floor, but you’ll probably never turn it on because all you really need is the view of the ocean and the mountains, surrounded by all the nature you could imagine. The service and communication have been extraordinary, and we’re truly grateful to have spent a few days here. We’ve had the opportunity to stay in many different places around the world, but this has been one of our absolute favorites. Don’t think twice if this place is available. Pura Vida!

Louis's Samara home has set the bar against which all other AirBNB's are judged. I've stayed at AirBNBs around the world and this was our favorite. The home was immaculate, well furnished, and had a lot of little touches that elevated the experience. My kids (7, 4, and 2) loved the pool (perfect size and temperature for them), the constant visits from hummingbirds, and the sounds of howler monkeys. My wife and I loved the number and quality of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, outdoor area, and bedding in the house. Louis was extremely responsive and checked in to ensure our stay went well. The proximity to Samara and Playa Carrillo was perfect for our family.

Notre séjour le plus magique à ce jour!! Je n'ai pas de mot pour décrire le pur bonheur de vivre avec toutes les commodités tout en étant littéralement dans la jungle! Prendre sa douche à l'extérieur en écoutant les singes hurleurs, boire son café sur la terrasse du toit au levé du soleil, se prélasser dans le hamac en soirée en regardant le ciel et la jungle autour, cette maison est un vrai bijou !!! La chambre est très bien climatisée et le lit King confortable. Même si tout le reste de l'espace de vie est à l'extérieur, c'était très propre! De plus, la maison est située à moins de 10 minutes en voitures de playa coco, qui est la plus belle de la quinzaine de plages visitées au Costa Rica. Comme presque partout, nous recommandons un 4x4 pour faciliter les déplacements. Giselle est une hôte vraiment soucieuse de ses invités et ça transparaît dès les premières communications. Nous ne pouvons que recommander de séjourner dans cet endroit tout droit sorti d'un film!!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house in Costa Rica! The location was perfect, nestled in a serene area that offered both privacy and easy access to local attractions. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying the lush surroundings, or heading out to explore, everything was within reach. The house itself was stunning, with spacious rooms and a modern design that blended perfectly with the natural beauty outside. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making us feel right at home. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From helpful recommendations on things to do nearby to their quick responses to any questions, they made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located retreat in Costa Rica!

This house was our home for a couple of weeks, and it was exactly right. It's beautiful and spacious, surrounded by lush landscape, wonderful details. It was the perfect location for us, as we were a group of friends all doing different things that were all accessible - surfing, yoga, ceramics classes, etc. The house was also great for everyone to hang out in the together comfortably and go swimming in the beautiful pool and make meals together. There was a beautiful pixote that visited, and a family of howler monkeys that ate the little papaya tree in the yard. Heaven! This place is perfect, and in a perfect location. Would book again for our next Nosara trip for sure.

Amazing property and beautiful view. Looks just like the photos. Stayed with our 5 kids - plenty of rooms/beds and bathrooms made it very comfortable. Ronald, the property manager was sooo helpful - booked us a chef, fishing and was always in contact with us. Road into punta islita was a bit rough for the van that we rented - 4x4 would have been better. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Casa Pina was a great experience from start to finish. Elizabeth was responsive leading up to our trip helping with recommendations and answering questions promptly. When we arrived the house was just as pictured, clean, welcoming and comfortable. We arrived late in the evening with children so the snacks and fresh fruit were such a thoughtful touch. We were able to meet Sandra, who cares for the house, and she was lovely as well. You can tell that Elizabeth and Sandra go above and beyond for their guests- many small details were noticed around the house such as sleeping masks, ear plugs (cicadas!) and beach gear which made our trip effortless.

Susie and Patricia were excellent hosts- super responsive, knowledgeable and friendly! We had an incredible time at the house, swimming in the pool, walking to the beach to snorkel and using the boogie boards to play in the ocean. The kitchen had all of the necessities and we found it easy to cook big dinners for our group of kids and adults. Overall, we had an amazing time and were so grateful for the recommendations! Manu and as an incredible surf instructor. The AC was a lovely benefit and the kids loved the wildlife. The bedroom setups were perfect and everyone was happy to have space to spread out. Elsa creating us upon our arrival to explain everything and answer questions was fabulous. Overall, such a great trip!

We absolutely loved our stay in Nosara. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect - just a few minutes walk away from great food and Playa Palada and only a short drive (or slightly longer walk) from Playa Guiones. The pool at the house was super refreshing after a long day at the beach. Kattia was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We couldn't have had a better stay or experience, thank you!

Beautiful house in an amazing location! Our group of 6 adults and 6 teens absolutely loved our stay. The house sits on a point that overlooks the Pacific. It has two rocky coves to each side of a main point where you can watch the spectacular sunsets. The grounds are gorgeous and made the home feel like a private retreat. The cove to the north has a small beach, but the surf pounds the rocks here so you'll want to drive to Playa Carrillo (5-10 minutes), Playa Samara (15 minutes), or Playa Islita (30 minutes) for beautiful sand beaches with waves you can surf. The breakfasts by Maria are delicious and you can arrange with her for dinner at an extra cost. Her dinners were awesome and the big family style dinner table makes for fun dinners. The rooms were comfortable with ceiling fans and standing fans. It was hot for us in March during the dry season and while the house doesn't have AC, the fans make for good sleeping. This is a special house in a special location. Enjoy!

Beautiful home! Stayed with another family and it was great that all 4 bedrooms were the same and offered an amazing en suite bath with outdoor shower in each room. Impressive architecture, great indoor / outdoor living all while still feeling cozy and connected to others in the home. Communication was great as well!

Un hospedaje increible, a solo pocos minutos de bellas playas como San Juanillo, Avellanas, Conchal. La villa es hermosa y realmente te hace sentir como en casa. Recomendado al 100%

Sibylle’s place is paradise for one to commune with the outstanding natural beauty of the country; where you feel like a guest of the surrounding flora and fauna, and feel an intimate connection with the very private beach. It is the only one of four properties where we stayed that had illustrated lists of Costa Rican Mammals, Reptiles, etc. in the cabana. You may find yourself walking on the beach twice or more each day. It is that easy. You can hear the waves day and night. There is no AC, but the proximity to the wind coming off the ocean and the three ceiling fans more than made up for lack of AC! The owner, Sibylle, with her late husband, began creating this ideal oasis decades ago, and she continues to provide loving care of this very special property. Her quiet presence only adds to the richness of your stay. This is a place for those who seek renewal, as well as for those who find great joy in intimately experiencing nature in its many beautiful forms. We can't wait to return!

This place is beautiful! It was super clean and the amenities are great. Sandy is a great host and even shared restaurant recommendations. Make sure to go in an SUV or 4x4 car since the streets to get there have a lot of potholes.

Wonderful house, location and host! So many great restaurants within just a few minutes of the house. Absolutely stunning views. The pictures don't do it justice. Our only concern was the construction next door, but Mary was very up-front about that. Overall, our favorite Airbnb that we've stayed at! Would absolutely go back.

Amazing place in every aspect. You are in nature, have privacy and a very well equipped and clean apartment/house. Location is also great... 5min from beach (you need some kind of vehicle to get around though). Cleaning every 2-3 days with fresh towels etc. Yet, the best thing about the place is the host Juan!!! He’s incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond—offering airport pickup, drop-off, and even taking us on a first grocery run. His hospitality made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!

Casa Jobo is the perfect place in Nosara - far enough away from the crowds but close enough when you want to partake in Guiones activities. Additionally, the property is amazing as it was the perfect size for us and for friends when they visited. The pool and the outside property is beautiful and David and the rest of the team are exceptional - always there for you when you need. Can't wait to be back!

We had a great stay at Casa Shiva! It’s tucked back off of the main roads but with their directions our drivers had no problem finding it. Very welcoming place, felt secure and well kept. Air conditioning worked great, the pool was perfect and felt very private, was cleaned and maintained 3x in the 8 days we were there. Plenty of linens, towels, kitchen stuff, games, tv which we used to stream music. A short walk to Playa Pelada, so peaceful and amazing sunsets. Any questions or recommendations, Jordy the house manager was quick to respond and super helpful :) I would recommend some form of transportation for shopping or excursions, the walk to the market can be hot if you are not accustomed to the weather. We had a golf cart which was fun and made it easy. On our final night we were treated to approx 15 howler monkeys traversing across the trees by the pool, up the roof of the casita to climb the next trees over. Fantastic family vacation spot

We loved staying Aaron’s home, it felt like an oasis with a beautiful garden and private pool. It was only a few minutes walk to Playa Guiones, with walkable distance to surf board rentals, cafes and delicious restaurants. The home was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and lots of storage. We felt welcomed and well taken care of at every turn, muchas gracias Aaron!
