Casita by Lina was a little piece of heaven. It felt like our own little seaside abode. Very peaceful surroundings only steps from the beach. Tasteful decor inside & out. We will plan to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay at Dirk’s place. The area is very relaxing. Four restaurants nearby and a small mini mart. The house is right next to the entrance to the beach. The beach is spectacular. A few miles long, great surfing, wonderful sunsets, and not crowded compared to the beach at Tarmarindo. We stayed for two weeks. The first week we rented a car to do grocery shopping, etc. The second week we just relaxed using nearby restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the pool when not at the beach. If you want to go to Tarmarindo it is about a 15 minute walk on the beach to the inlet that separates the two areas, you can then use the locals with their boats to cross. Cost $2 per person. Boats start at 8 and stop at 5. Dirk is a great host. He helped us with renting the car, and was generous with his recommendations. Look forward to returning.

Lauren's place is a true slice of paradise! It's perfectly sized for a couple in a nice secluded area tucked behind one of the most desolate, beautiful beaches we'd ever seen with our own private walkway to get there. The yard is huge and gorgeous! You can hear the ocean waves from the yard making it a super peaceful retreat. The kitchen was very well stocked for us to cook meals and even make fresh batidos every day! Junquillal is a beautiful beach and is a 45 minute drive (or less) to Tamarindo, but a significantly quieter area if that's what you're looking for. We'd highly recommend the place and would love to stay again!!

The main draw is the location right at the beach. The place was very quiet and peaceful, the kitchen was very well equipped with all things one may need.

alles wunderbar, vielen Dank. die Unterkunft ist ruhig und perfekt gelegen, da weder Morgensonne noch Abendsonne das Apartment aufheizt. einzig die Wasserqualität vom gemeinsamen pool ist etwas fragwürdig. Unsere Badekleider haben sich grün verfärbt. Dies hat jedoch nichts direkt mit der Unterkunft von Ruslan zu tun, da der pool wahrscheinlich von allen Apartmentbesitzern verwaltet wird.

Caroline and Étienne are lovely hosts and we enjoyed our stay very much! Check in was easy and communication prompt and friendly. The little house was exceptionally clean and built with high quality material. AC was welcome and bed large and comfy. The outdoor kitchen has everything you need and while we prepared lunch dnd dinner there we never once had any issues with ants or other insects. The little cold private pool was a welcome lifesaver for cold dips in the hot afternoons. Otherwise the beautiful beach is 15 min walk away. We heard and saw howler monkeys every day from our patio! The only thing to note is that the patio faces other properties gardens so while you are protected from view you can hear neighbors talk or do garden work. We would happily stay again!

Awesome place to stay! Beautiful view! A short walk to the beach and some local shops - it is a steep hill, but there are stairs. Staff and other guests were extremely helpful and friendly. There was more than enough room for our family of four. When we needed assistance with an air conditioner, Floribeth was quick to respond, and had a repair person there in no time - problem fixed immediately. We were not planning on returning to Costa Rica, but after our stay, we fell in love with the area and people, and can't wait to return. Floribeth gave us precise directions, found it right away. You will not want to leave here. Thank you Floribeth!!

Our group of 10 stayed and had a great time. We ate out for 90% of our stay because we needed all our fridge space to keep drinks cold. It was a very hot therefor fridge has a hard time keeping up. We are a group that enjoys cold beer and ice. we made ice constantly and probably bought more than $300US in ice. we brought yeti backpack coolers thankfully. The grocery stores are a distance from the house. We found it was basically the same price as going out. all the Local restaurants were delicious and great selection. The property is excellent for 10 people. Costa Rican Authentic We honestly could not believe how hot the temperatures are in Costa Rica. We spent most of our time swimming Ocean and pool. Great shade around pool area. Loved open kitchen/ living area.

We stayed here for a group birthday party of 12 adults and it fit our needs perfectly for our mix of couples and singles.
The area of Potrero was exactly what we wanted, not too busy, but with some good restaurants and a close by market for essentials. The house itself is at the end of a quiet street and very peaceful. The elevated pool is a really unique feature and we made good use of it to watch sunsets and generally relax. Marvin the caretaker kept the house very clean, and Alexa our host helped us arrange several excursions, as well as a private chef who cooked the birthday dinner, highly recommend! We did the following excursions: Rio Celeste tour, which included a trip to see sloths in a wildlife preserve; ziplines; a private yoga session on the patio overlooking the ocean; and a tour of a coffee roaster. All were excellent, with great tour guides / hosts, and the whole group loved them. Thank you so much for a great experience

We've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this was by far our favorite. Lovely house, comfortable beds, a great bathroom for each of the bedrooms, fantastic pool with warm water in a great neighbourhood, only steps from a beautiful, quiet beach. We watched the sunsets from our balcony or took the conveniently supplied camp stools to watch from the beach. Some nice restaurants and a small grocery store we could walk to. A short drive from horseback riding, Playa Conchal, the Westin where we got day passes and an hour's drive from Tamarindo where we went shopping. Just as important, our hosts were very responsive to our needs in advance of our trip, and while we were there. Friendly, lovely people. We would definitely come again.

Mary was prompt and helpful and gave great restaurant suggestions!! The home was gorgeous and exactly as pictured. We would definitely recommend this gorgeous home!! Best vacation ever. Thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Pipa! The home was exactly as advertised. Iris was so easy to work with; helped with dinner reservations. Excellent guide/resource book emailed prior to arrival. Manfred the local house manager was so nice to work with, orient us to the home, and make us feel welcome immediately. We enjoyed Manfred's homemade pastries; so delicious! The home is very clean and comfortable. We found the beds and pillows very comfortable. So private and the private beach access was just magical! Was so nice to go through the gate, walk a beautiful little forest path, to find the amazing beach and Pacific ocean!!! Any questions; answered immediately. Just a total chill place for ultimate relaxation while being able to walk the neighborhood and enjoy the lovely small restaurants and market. We didn't rent a car and didn't feel the need for one. Our driver brought us to the supermarket before our arrival so we had everything we needed; the home, pool, beach!! Thank you!!!

Our stay at Jarrod’s place was incredible! Best vacation house you could ask for. Perfect location right on the beach but still super private. Having a swimming pool right on the ocean is about as good as it gets, we usually spend most of our vacation time at the beach but this house was so great we wound up spending more time by the pool. Also the house is stocked very well, everything an Airbnb/rental house should have this house has. Jarrod was very accommodating and helped us with transportation and Covid testing at the house. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Playa Negra area! We will definitely be coming back!

Loved the house and location. Extremely well-equipped kitchen and some refreshments waiting for us in the fridge. RCV arranged a guided tour for us at Rincon de la Vieja National Park for one day (including lunch, zip-lining, and the hot springs & mud baths) that was a lot of fun. Had dinner the first night at Father Rooster's on Ocotal Beach just down the hill from the house. We did a little cooking and used the bbq grill for a couple meals. There were a couple small problems: water was not turned on for one of the showers downstairs, the gas was not turned on for the stove (just had to open the valve on the propane tank on the other side of the wall from the stove), the A/C would trip off in the second bedroom upstairs, and the dishwasher wouldn't operate. RCV sent people promptly to address the issues, but unfortunately the dishwasher needed a new control board and couldn't be fixed during our stay. We would definitely stay in this house again.

We had a wonderful stay! The layout was perfect for us with a fantastic view of the ocean. The kitchen was well appointed as we had inhouse chef for three of our nights. We would stay here again. The condo had all the qualities we were looking for.

Muy buen lugar y el departamento espectacular. Lo recomiendo 100%. Sin duda lo mejor que se puede encontrar en tamarindo. Como crítica constructiva, sería ideal la reposición de amenidades para el baño y la ducha.

Have to say, we’ve stayed in a lot of different places but this one “takes the cake!” We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Beach House. Anything you would need was available-kitchen well appointed, plenty of towels (in bathrooms & for beach), plenty of chairs on covered porch for when all 5 of us wanted to sit together as a group. We loved having the pool, the tiki hut, & easy access to the beach! Everything was very clean when we arrived & kept clean all week we were there. Ileana, the housekeeper, & Alexander, the groundskeeper, were very sweet & helpful. Of course we loved Missy always greeting us with a wagging tail! The setting of the property was awesome & the view out to the bay breathtaking! We would definitely look into staying at this property again if coming back to Costa Rica!

Magical Place Our week in Maria’s home was absolutely magical. Situated at the end of a sandy cove, we had excellent ocean access and amazing privacy. The home was so comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms and breezy, beautiful living spaces in the rest of the house, deep decks with plenty of seating for meals, and tiny little spots under trees and bushes scattered throughout the ample yard. Our three generation gathering relished the pool, the beach, the yard games, and plenty of board games and art projects throughout the week. Maria’s recommendations for cooks and transportation were excellent. Maria was shockingly responsive…even sending someone over with two bags of ice when the ice-maker was a little slow for our needs. We were blessed with regular sightings of monkeys, lizards, birds, crabs, and dragonflies. We were so lucky to come upon this magical place that fully met all our needs, and exceeded our expectations.

Our group had the most wonderful vacation at the Golden Sunset Villa. First off, the photos do not do justice the view is even more amazing and impossible to describe. It felt like being on a movie set! The villa was very spacious and open and well laid out for a group. It was also well stocked with all the dishes and cooking gear and even beach towels that you will need. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The pool on our deck was the perfect touch but you are also just steps away from the big resort pool with swim up bar. Location is great we rented a car and drove to the Castillo de Lilo for their incredible dining experience as well as a day at Vandara Springs thermal resort. The trams run often down to the beach, and we had some great boogie boarding at our beach and ate at all the restaurants in walking distance. I could go on and on, but I will just say if you are considering renting this villa...do it.

The house & location are amazing, you literally feel like you have your own beach in the middle of paradise, but also all of the conveniences you need like a variety restaurants, grocery store, convenience stores and even a hardware store are only less than a 5 minute drive away. The baby turtle sanctuary is only a 5 minute drive away and we got to see one of my bucket lists, we got to release baby turtles and watch them waddle their way to the ocean! The whole house had a water filter and reverse osmosis water so we were able to have safe and wonderful drinking water the entire trip and saved loads of money just refilling our water w/ regular cheap water bottles that we bought day one some of us brought our Yeti/Stanley cups. The pool is a perfect dip pool for when you get hot, and at low tide, which is everyday. The smooth sandy beach is a dream! We looked at tons of other beachfront properties but this was the only one that actually had a sandy swimmable beach! House is perfect!

We loved staying at Mono Feliz. Jeff and Gina were very responsive to any questions we had. I loved having my morning coffee on the patio next to the pool while sitting on the super comfy chairs. The Langosta Beach club was only about a 10 minute walk. I had a full knee replacement 12 weeks ago (which I didn't know I'd have to have when I booked) I didn't realize how many stairs there would be. But, I did fine. We got to see howler monkeys hanging around in the trees near the villa. They have an Reverse Osmosis water system in the kitchen, so the drinking water was perfect. Thank you so much! we had a great vacation.

Casa Sundog is amazing! The concierge team was top notch from beginning to end. They were super communicative and provided great recommendations. The house was impressive to say the least and exceeded our expectations. This was the perfect stay for our family of 10 and made my parents 50th anniversary very memorable.

Situated down a small street and protected by a high fence sits this beautiful property. With mango trees and the sound of the Pacific Ocean as you fall asleep this is where you go to completely get away from it all. While it sleeps 10 (!) we were a family of 5 and enjoyed the serenity of this rustic location. Currently it has no air conditioning, which was actually just fine, but it will be coming in July. Now it's something like upscale camping and you will find nature making its way inside your rooms, so don't be surprised when you see ants on the walls or a crawly thing hiding in your pile of laundry. This is one of the oldest places in the entire town and you just have to embrace it. Because on the plus side Dona Flor makes amazing food and to get to the ocean you just have to open up the back gate and then come back to one of the two outdoor showers and relax in a hammock. It doesn't get more amazing than that.
