Our small family had a lovely and comfortable time at Laura and Luis' place! It is cute and set up with all the things to make our stay comfortable. When we reached out to Laura and Luis, they were extremely responsive and helpful! They went the extra mile to make us comfortable by providing a crib for our 10-month-old - we are grateful! It was easy to check in, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and it was within walking distance to a yummy restaurant called La Finca Restuarante y Pizzeria. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed at this home for my mom’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. The house is well designed and located in a peaceful, quiet area. Kevin was always available to answer any questions we had and provided helpful solutions whenever needed.

My expectations were very high and Casa Azul exceeding them! You will think that you are dreaming as you float in the pool or enjoy the scenery from 9 unique seating areas. The views are unparalleled and the privacy is like a sanctuary. My son said this was a “once in a lifetime vacation.” The spacious kitchen was perfect for meals and we highly recommend Grays, a local chef who came to the house and made 3 delicious Costa Rica style dinners. We loved horseback riding at The Monkey Farm and dinner on the beach at Father Roosters which are each a 5 minute drive. I also can’t say enough about Benton, our host. He proactively checked in daily and if we needed anything he responded quickly. His recommendations for groceries, restaurants and local activities were spot on. I highly recommend that you enjoy Costa Rica at Casa Azul!

Everything was great about the house, the location and proximity to tamarindo. It fit 5 couples perfectly and the outdoor space was amazing. But what made this place outstanding was the house lady Diana, not only is she amazing at her job but her demeanor and warm personality made this place feel like home. She made us breakfast for every morning and worked around different peoples schedule and she went above and beyond. The host Elsa was also amazing and super attentive the whole trip. The whole team made the experience go above and beyond. The only negative was hacienda Pinilla itself where a lot of the amenities were closed or closed early because no one was working or other random reasons but besides that 5/5

El lugar es hermoso con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Perfecto para viajar en familia o amigos, cada cuarto disponía de su baño privado. La piscina y la vista espectaculares. Nos gustaría volver en una próxima visita a Guanacaste

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist Top. Der Innenhof ist sehr schön angelegt, mit einen tollen Pool und Sonnenliegen. Privatsphäre ist gegeben und es ist angenehm ruhig. Der Strand ist nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und um die Ecke ist direkt ein gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Cocktails. Das einzige Manko sind die vielen Mücken. Hier sollten zeitnah die Mückennetze an den Fenstern erneuert werden, diese haben bereits Löcher/ Risse. Der einzige "negative" Punkt ist, dass die Unterkunft schon etwas verlebt ist. Den Wänden, Armaturen, Möbeln sieht man das Alter an, auch lösen sich zum Teil die Fussleisten am Eingang, wenn man gegen kommt. In großen und ganzen sind wir aber zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Benoit es un excelente anfitrión, muy atento, con buenas recomendaciones. El alojamiento está a 3 minutos en automóvil de playa Negra y a 10 minutos de playa Avellanas. El lugar es amplio, muy limpio y cubre todas la necesidades. Le agradecemos a Benoit tan cordial trato.

Lo único que faltó para ser perfecto es que hubiera agua caliente. Lugar seguro y tranquilo. Vi un par de ranitas inofensivas, pero es solo de sacarlas con cuidado con una servilleta. Eso es entorno y no es culpa del hospedador, de hecho son sorpresas agradables. Por el lugar hay algunos monos congos, pero sólo pasan amaneciendo. Hay estacionamiento hasta para dos vehículos, no es bajo techo pero está bien. El lugar es perfecto si uno hace tours a varias playas, hay un Pali (supermercado) cercano y fácil acceso a diferentes playas. También llega servicio a domicilio, yo pedí pizza y llegó sin contratiempos. Pero también se puede cocinar. Cosas meramente estéticas que me gustaron: cortinas, limpiones y paños del mismo color. En general limpio, agradable, tranquilo y suficiente para una estadía vacacional. Dato adicional, me traje una gatita negra que venía a saludarle por las noches, entonces ahí encontré al más reciente miembro de mi familia, le puse por nombre Thea. Gracias Allan!

Alan’s place was easy to find It was also very private despite being within walking distance to the beach and town. Great location.

Amazing and spacious air conditioned place with gorgeous decor and ambiance. We truly appreciated staying in such a beautiful and well-maintained property. The beach club access was unexpected but turned out to be one of the best perks of booking this place, we went to the coco bay club and it was perfect for staying cool during the hottest parts of the day, they also have a gym and restaurant/pool bar at the club. The hosts were very proactive in providing all necessary information. However, I wouldn’t recommend walking alone at night in the area near the Airbnb. We really enjoyed our time in coco beach, thank you for having us!!

Lovely place to enjoy the nature and peace, our kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and surroundings. Friendly owners and staff made us feel like home and we definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back to explore more

Siempre muy atento Christopher, hicimos reserva a última hora y no hubo ningún problema. Muy limpio y privado. Andábamos un perro.

El lugar es muy bonito y completo, en la cocina había todo tipo de utensilio y electrodomésticos, las habitaciones cómodas y el baño muy bonito e impecable, el área de piscina tiene una cascada y luces de colores perfecto para disfrutar en la noche de una reunión con amigos, full recomendado

Súper atento, preocupándose desde el primer momento de que todo fuese bien. Cualquier necesidad estuvo dispuesto a resolverla. La casa es muy cómoda. La cocina al aire libre es muy agradable para compartir en familia o con amigos. La localización es genial para aquellos que quieran disfrutar de la playa sin tener que preocuparse por desplazamientos o complicaciones. De 10!

the location is amazing. just a minute from the beach in a a beautiful garden setting. monkeys and squirrels in the trees and a super friendly property dog who visits you every morning. the kitchen and dining room area are tastefully done. the bedrooms are a bit too simple for my tase( no night stands, no lamps, just overhead light bulb) but very practical for families with kids. overall a great price but keep in mind that there are Airbnb fees on top which ads up to $50 more then the listed price for the night.

Excelente alojamiento, con las comodidades básicas completas, equipado y con facilidades a la mano por estar cerca de Santa Cruz y de los sitios de playa. Marianela muy atenta y amable a cualquier consulta y colaboración.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a unique airbnb experience. The sound of the howler monkeys were comforting & the views were gorgeous. Make sure you are a bug friendly person as you are in the jungle. The pizza place nearby is worth a try :)

The Chic Shack is such a wonderful place to be! Nature is all around -- such a lovely escape from a city or busy life. The internet was incredibly strong! If you're into surfing (we're not), there are added benefits -- so close to a great surfing beach and lots of surfers around. Loved the hammock, especially in the evenings. Pascal and Camille are wonderful. They are just like AirBnb imagines its hosts to be: open, friendly, helpful, and respectful. Would recommend!
