This house is great for families or multiple people traveling for a retreat. It has great space. The views overall (there are multiples) are amazing. The view from the deck is simply magical, the most magical. It is hard to capture the feeling you get when you see the view from the main deck in person. You will be relaxed and transported to a magical place the minute you walk in. My family of 8 (plus 3 who stayed nearby) spent a glorious 4 days. The host recommended Conchita, the cook who arrived at 7:00 am everyday. OMG she was the best cook. Simple meals with great flavors every day. She was a life saver. There are no restaurants nearby (only a very expensive and limited restaurant by Aqua). We were spoiled with Conchita’s food. Felix, the caretaker gets 5 starts. He was 100 percent responsive and a hard worker. Our host was too. She was responsive immediately with all of our questions. We are grateful she shared her beautiful home with us. It is truly a special place. Bring games.

Amazing place to stay a few blocks outside of the main part of the port of you want slightly more quiet but want to still be able to easily walk to everything! Loved my stay here

Everything met our expectations and was as described. Maria was very responsive, she e.g. arranged a transfer from the airport for us.

We loved staying at the sirena surf house! The location was amazing- steps from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and fun surf spots! Definitely can’t beat falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Petrona was so sweet and attentive. Definitely would stay here again!

Un lugar espectacular, realmente una joya de la naturaleza.

Helen and Lee are fantastic hosts. Their apartment was exactly as described and the images bang on. Messaging Helen and Lee was an absolute breeze. We never had to wait for a response which is great when you don't have roaming cell service and wifi can be limited outside the apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable and really clean and had everything we needed. The grounds and pool were beautiful and very well kept. I would absolutely stay there again. Thank you Helen and Lee.

You can’t get a better location in SJDS! What a gem. No hills to walk and no loud bars or night clubs. Great pool, the house is huge and clean with great WiFi. Comfortable beds, and Mary Jane is very lovely and knowledgeable about the area.

The home is an architectural paradise! We loved the convenience of the home and where it was located. The pool was fantastic. Because the home is cleverly designed to work with the climate, it is not completely sealed to the outdoors . As such, - there will be an expected presence of bugs .

We really enjoyed our stay. Some very nice touches in the condo. Very comfortable. Loved the outside patio and spent most of our time there. Management was very responsive. Security guard was super nice

Nous avons passés 3 merveilleux jours chez Dominc dans son logement de location à Popoyo,il nous a très bien accueilli,nous nous sommes vraiment sentis à l’aise. Le logement est magnifique et la vue sublime,il y a un balcon où j’ai pu faire ma méditation et stretching,et le lit est très confortable. Il est très bien situé et se sera un plaisir d’y séjourner à nouveau.

Beautiful beach front location is unreal! such an amazing place. as seen in photos provided on air bnb. amazing set up with well stocked kitchen and clean house. Host Martin is a really friendly bloke and was really helpful and responsive to any questions, assisted with arranging transport to and from. there was a wifi issue for one day, he was kind enough to let us use his hot-spot so that we still had Internet, and he kept us updated in detail re his conversation with the wifi company whilst it was sorted. Really impressed overall. we had a really lovely time. great value for money. thanks Martin for making our stay really special.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Situated just across the river from the main area of San Juan del Sur, it offers the perfect balance—close enough to walk to restaurants and bars, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the weekend festivities. The river is easy to walk across at any time of the day, making access to town simple and convenient. Ronaldo, who lives on the property with his family, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Although we used Google Translate to communicate, he was always quick to assist whenever we needed anything. The house is just a two-minute walk from the beach and features a beautiful outdoor space, perfect for relaxing at home. Highly recommend!

We’ve spent 2,5 month in Nicaragua and Alexandra’s Casa was the best place we’ve been to. The flat is beautiful designed and the huge terrace is the best spot to watch sunsets. We had some issues with electricity outages because of street works and Alexandra helped us all along the way. Checkin via lock box was easy and Martha the housekeeper brought us frag towels and kept care of our laundry as often as we asked for which was absolutely great service. Even though it is a little hike up the hill from the best beach of the area, it’s definitely worth it! For daily needs we recommend not only the nearby mini market but also the machete market, which has some specials we couldn’t find anywhere else.

This place is heaven! The house is beautiful and the patio is incredible. On the beach with a patio offering bbq, hamac, direct access to pool and access to the beach. They even had a kids table and toys. Master bedroom is just Wow, with view to the ocean. Kids loved the bunk beds. Hot water and a/c. Close town, we would definitely come back!

Ich habe mich im Salitre sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich durfte sogar meine Sachen vor dem Check-In in den Kühlschrank stellen. Das Haus ist geräumig, gut eingerichtet und verfügt über alles,was man braucht. Zum Strand sind es nur 2 Minuten Gehweg.Toll fand ich,dass ich meinen kleinen Hund unkompliziert mitbringen durfte.Die Verwalter kümmern sich herzlich.Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt. Ich komme sehr gern wieder ins Salitre...

Carolina’s beach home is in the most beautiful spot, and was such a perfect beach escape for our family. The beach is stunning and most of the time it felt like we had it to ourselves. It was so nice to have the option to walk to the hotel for dinner, which was amazing. We never felt too hot since there is amazing shade around the house and gazebo, perfect for kids. Carolina was the most attentive and hospitable host you could imagine! Thank you so much Carolina, we hope to come back again one day !

We really enjoyed our stay with Dunia this February. The space was clean, well equipped, quiet with a great balcony. Dunia is an excellent host. She met us on arrival and was warm, helpful and welcoming throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Well located, short walk from the beach (5 mins tops). There is a brilliant cafe just opened opposite too, serving excellent breakfast, lunch and coffee. The windows and doors provide excellent cross ventilation and shutters keep the place cool. The kitchen was well equipped. A brush and pan/ natural cleaning spray was provided to keep the space well swept and clean. We felt 100% safe. A key lock box and a safe is also provided. We were travelling with our four year old who slept on the pull out bed underneath the sofa. She managed really well in the space and on the stairs, (that lead to a mezzanine double bed level). We highly recommend staying with Dunia.
