The location was great and close to playa Guasacate. The house was very spacious and the pool and outside areas are great for lounging. Karina was an incredible host with wonderful local recommendations and very responsive. We would book with Karina again anytime!

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

This place felt like a little palace nestled in the hills of San Juan Del Sur. If you don’t mind a 20-minute drive into the main part of town, it’s the perfect retreat—far enough from the chaos to enjoy some peace but close enough to dive into the action whenever you want. The beds were incredibly comfortable—honestly, the best I’ve slept on in a while. I woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The views were unbeatable, and the patio area was absolutely stunning. The only downsides were that the showers in the master room and downstairs didn’t have hot water, but we just walked up to the main area to shower. Also, the bottom two rooms felt pretty isolated from the rest of the group and had a lot of bugs getting inside—which is expected in the jungle but still made it a little unsettling to stay down there. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s absolutely beautiful!

From the very beginning, Clare and Sacha made us feel so welcome in their space. When we walked in the door, all of us did a collective gasp. The love and attention that went into building the space is so obvious. The huts are beautifully designed, and have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was awesome, and we loved swimming and rinsing in the outdoor shower. The location was great to walk to the beach. They recommended us lots of great local transportation and food options. The breakfast that their staff cooked was delicious. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend!

5 STARS all the way around for Miki’s house. She was amazing to work with, her house was so cool and super close to the beach. We loved the vibe, the plants, the pool, everything was spot on!

Garret and Laura’s place was lovely. Me and my family were very comfortable and spent a great time there. We loved the kitchen and pool the most. The check in was very easy, the house had everything we needed and they were within reach all the time. Looking forward to come back soon <3

Ich habe mich gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus wurde mit natürlichen Rohstoffen gebaut und ist sehr geräumig und schön. Maria hat uns immer sehr schnell geantwortet und weiter geholfen.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

The outdoor kitchen and living area were the heart of the home, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there. The location was absolutely perfect—we felt safe and relaxed the entire time. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive, going above and beyond to accommodate my elderly parents, which we truly appreciated. If you’re looking for a comfortable and fun getaway, this place is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this beautiful and cozy home in Las Salinas for 3 days. Three adults and a 3 year old toddler. The home is tastefully decorated with modern and rustic design with touches of native elements. Loved the local blue tile and local wood furniture. Comfy beds, linens & blankets. The A/C & water pressure was great. Filtered drinking water & basic cooking utensils are provided. Plenty of games to play with family or friends. A groundskeeper and or security guard is always on site and the property is gated. The home is close to the main paved road but there is a short drive on a dirt road. SUV recommended and 4x4 during rainy season. Zivile was great with communication prior to and during our stay. She made it a point to greet & welcome us to the home. The home was spacious and very well maintained. Overall great!

This was a really nice and tranquil place within walking distance to two beautiful beaches. Tamara was very responsive and helpful when I ran into issues with my reservation. The wifi isnt the fastest but i had no trouble working remotely while there. The electricity is a bit fickle in this zone and would go out for about a minute once in a while but it was generally reliable. There is also a backup generator so it wasn't not a huge issue. The caretaker was super nice and helpful and made sure everything was okay. Stayed here for about a month and would recommend.

We, 3 adults and 2 kids (2 and 6 yrs old) stayed at Casa del Arte for 1 month. We had a fantastic time, the space was comfortable for adults and kids, well set-up for a longer stay, and a great location for Playa Maderas. The house is located on top of a hill within a small, quiet community (two other multi-unit buildings). It was an easy 3 minute drive down to Playa Maderas, or an easy 10 min walk downhill. The view was beautiful with stunning sunsets, we loved seeing the birds and hearing the howler monkeys in the mornings. One thing to note is that there is a unit below and a unit above so there can be noise from the upstairs unit if someone is renting it. The roads to/from the house and Playa Maderas are dirt, bumpy, and under construction so if you are not comfortable with these conditions for sure rent a 4x4. We are comfortable driving in these conditions and had no issues with our rented SUV (dry season). Overall an excellent place to stay at Playa Maderas!

We stayed at CasAnika for three weeks and had an amazing time! The house is spacious, clean, and cozy, with a beautiful terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi was great for remote work, and we loved the pool area and the friendly dogs and cats. Tony was a fantastic host, always helpful and full of great tips. The location is quiet, private and ideal, within walking distance to Maderas and Marsella beaches. We rented a scooter for trips to town but rarely needed to go as the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Casa Buen Vivir. The house is beautiful and in an amazing setting. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch each morning drinking coffee and having breakfast together as a family. It rained quite a bit during our stay. It rained everyday but it didn’t rain all day. We still enjoyed the beach almost every day. It is about 5-10 minute walk to the beach and we saw very few other people on the beach which made it feel like our own private beach. We did travel in November which is shoulder season. We had read that the southern coast dries up this time of year even if there is still rain elsewhere in the country but this was not the case for us. We really enjoyed our stay regardless and can’t thank Till and Nelson enough for their support and guidance while we were there. We hope to return someday.

We loved our stay at La Vaca Loca. The home is a hidden gem! The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms roomy and there is ample room for 2 couples or a family of 4 to stay and find individual space to read or relax. If you plan on cooking meals it is advisable to stock up in a bigger center such as Rivas beforehand (as Brant and Khadine did mention to us). There are only 2 small markets in the area with limited stock. The beach is beautiful and pristine! We spent our days walking in either direction, body surfing, swimming, soaking in the tidal pools, reading, playing crib and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Our stay was very peaceful and was the best way to end our holiday in Nicaragua.

We had an amazing stay! The house had all the comforts of home; fantastic kitchen which had everything you need, big bathrooms and ultra comfortable beds! The grounds and pool area were gorgeous and were definitely the highlight! It was so peaceful and private - just heaven. Watching the monkeys swing up above you in the trees and listening to the birds was just magical. Indalecio was so lovely and catered to our every whim! Jim and Suzie, the owners, were an absolute delight and Becky was on top of all of our questions. We loved El Gigante, especially Redonda Bay! We will miss Luna and Charlie Max!!

Jason's place was perfect! A friend and I were looking for a peaceful and quiet weekend and this couldn't have been better. Jasons place was close enough to all the amenities but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility. His house was well stocked with whatever one would need and he was always communicative and responsive. Danny greeted us to let us in and he was friendly and available if needed. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends. Thanks for a perfect little get away!!

Casa Tora es una buena opción para un grupo familiar que quiere disfrutar de la belleza natural de playa El Coco. La casa ofrece las amenidades que se necesitan para pasar una buena estancia. Muy recomendable opción.

Ich habe mich im Salitre sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich durfte sogar meine Sachen vor dem Check-In in den Kühlschrank stellen. Das Haus ist geräumig, gut eingerichtet und verfügt über alles,was man braucht. Zum Strand sind es nur 2 Minuten Gehweg.Toll fand ich,dass ich meinen kleinen Hund unkompliziert mitbringen durfte.Die Verwalter kümmern sich herzlich.Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt. Ich komme sehr gern wieder ins Salitre...

Nous avons été charmés par la propriété de Michelle. Nous étions 5 adultes et 4 enfants. L’aire commune est grande et spacieuse. Les chambres ont toutes leur salle de bain privée. Le coin extérieur est vraiment bien. Juste assez d’ombres et de soleil pour profiter de la cour toute la journée. Il y avait 2 vélos disponibles mais nous ne les avons pas utilisés. Le logement était situé très près des commerces du centre du village. Il était à environ 15 minutes de marche de la plage. Ça se faisait très bien avec les poussettes. La communication avec Michelle était impeccable. Quand nous avions des questions, elle nous répondait très rapidement et nous mettait en contact avec les bonnes personnes. La maison est située dans une communauté privée et c’est très sécuritaire pour les enfants. La plage est vraiment magnifique, peu de gens, les vagues sont parfaites pour le surf. Je recommanderais ce logement sans hésitation.
