Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

Wow, what a gem! Paz Mami Suites was even better than I imagined. My expectations were totally blown away! Initally we debated to stay a a bit further out like we did on a previous visit to PV; and I’m so glad our chose this location. The suite was spotless, clean, and has a beautiful appeal. It is spacious and comfortable. It had everthing we needed and more. The location is perfect. Close to restaurants, cafes, and stores, so we could walk everywhere. Bonus: select restaurants offered a discount because we stayed at Paz Mami Suites. Winner! The view from the balcony is amazing. We could see the beach right across the street. I felt completely safe and secure at all times. Paz was the best host ever! She greeted us when we arrived and gave us lots of advice and recommendations. She was always there to help us and was very responsive to any questions had. We’re seasoned travelers, and Paz definitely set a high standard. She made our vacation even better. -happy guest

Annie hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Innen klein, aber mit einem grossen überdachtem Außenbereich. Die Küche ist nur mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Restaurants und Supermärkte sind in Laufnähe und der wirklich sehr schöne Strand ist nur 50m entfernt. Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Un lugar super bonito, cerca de la calle principal pero lejos del bullicio. Mucha naturaleza alrededor y un vecindario muy privado y seguro. Fui en automóvil, la calle es de lastre pero es totalmente transitable. Jessy es super amable y atenta, y te hace sentir cómo en casa. El apartamento muy bien equipado y cómodo.

Villa Julio was great. The property managers with Rise were very helpful and friendly. Especially Fabian, who greeted us on arrival. We had a wonderful time spotting wildlife from the deck every day. We saw and heard howler monkeys every day, spotted an iguana in the tree, as well as a sloth. We rented bikes for our time there and were able to get wherever we needed to go.

If you ever dream to wake up with the sound of the jungle around you this is your place. A small cozy house surrounded by trees. We spotted different animals during our short stay (monkeys, birds, and others) The space is little far from the “main” beaches but is worth it due to the privacy. The front deck is perfect for just sit down and appreciate the peacefulness of nature.

Absolutely five stars! Jason’s Airbnb in Puerto Viejo exceeded all expectations. The place was incredibly well-maintained and buttoned up, offering a peaceful, secluded escape that still felt completely safe and comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and effortless, which made the whole experience stress-free. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into creating this space. I would 100% stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends. A perfect getaway!

The house was exactly as shown in the listing. The plunge pool was great, and the location was private and peaceful. A great experience!

We loved our stay at Casa Blanca. The host was very responsive and helpful. The restaurant recommendations were wonderful. The house is exactly as pictured - the backyard area is possibly even more beautiful than the photos. The location is fabulous - directly on Playa Negra. A very peaceful location for a Costa Rican beach stay! I would return here.

We loved our two night stay. Was well located and had many restaurants within walking distance. I will happily stay here again! Exactly as described. The restaurant next door named gypsea had the best lassi mango drink I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.

This is an awesome place to stay, rest and/or work. It feels and is a peaceful and quiet place where you will enjoy your vacation, the pool is very familiar, you can see the ocean from the balcony, and it is a fact that you will see very relaxed iguanas taking the sun <3. Dalma was very friendly and responsive... I'd love to be back again!

Awesome base to spend time between Puerto Viejo and Manzanila. The house was very comfortable, surrounded by wildlife, and perfectly placed to walk to the beach and to many restaurants. Also very easy to drive to PV or south and explore. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Villa and would definitely recommend it to explore Puerto Viejo. It is perfectly located between the center and some other beautiful beaches towards Punta Uva. :)

Nos gustó Mucho. el lugar muy tranquilo Giacomo nos atendió muy bien muy amable y servicial, esta muy bien ubicado cerca de las playas y lugares recreativos volveríamos sin duda.

Martin est un hôte très sympa. Nous avons adoré l'endroit, la plage est accessible à pied en 5 minutes, le centre est quant à lui à 15/20 minutes à pied. La piscine est très bien également. Merci !

We absolutely loved staying at Jan's place. Both Jan and Yoshi went above and beyond in answering any questions we had prior to arriving, including providing us a connection to book tours ahead of time. They were also flexible and kind when our plans changed a couple weeks before the trip, and we very much appreciated that. When there, they sent us lots of recommendations for beaches/restaurants, along with answering any questions we had promptly. The house was clean and the gardens were just stunning. With the private gate and location we felt safe staying there, and the possibility to lock valuables up in a safe was a great extra option. We loved being able to just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach even just to have our morning coffee by the water :) All in all, we would definitely recommend staying at Jan/Yoshi's place. The beautiful location combined with the responsive, helpful hosts made our trip so enjoyable. If ever in the location we would love to stay again!
