Elise’s home was lovely and new! You can tell she cares a lot about her home and her guests in both her kind responses and by the little things - filtered water, plenty of hooks to hang items, fully stocked kitchen , even spices! She and her property manager Meredith were so helpful and generous, they responded timely whenever we had any questions. It’s close to the beach and I will definitely try to stay here every time we visit Pavones!

We loved staying again! The location is perfect for us - both on the beautiful beach, and near the point. The house is set up just right to enjoy with friends with large gathering spaces, and still have some space of your own. We appreciate the care taken before arrival - the house is spotless, and has a homey feel with coffee and staples to get you started. Thank you for another terrific extended stay! We'll see you again!

We loved our time here!!! Perfect location… just a short walk to the most beautiful beach you’ll ever step foot on. This cozy home is in the heart of the jungle, so every morning and evening we had a front row view of the monkeys passing by and the scarlet macaws flying over. Every property in the Osa is off-grid so be prepared for the rustic charm, but this home had great WiFi and all the amenities to keep you comfortable. We will be back for sure!!!

Lapalandia was wonderful!! Just wish we had stayed more nights. It has a huge upstairs balcony with comfy seating and a large outdoor seating area with hammocks looking out over a lush tropical garden, and all things you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. Two things to be aware of are that the sleeping area is up a spiral staircase and all three beds are in the same room. So if you have to go to the bathroom at night you have to walk downstairs to the bathroom. Totally fine for us, but just in case you don't notice that in the photos! It was great being able to walk down a short path directly to Matapalo beach & King Louis Waterfall. It was also a short walk or drive to Backwash and Pan dulce. We enjoyed some excellent meals at Martina's, Encanta La Vida, Lapa Rios, and Bosque Del Cabo nearby. Highly recommend the hike up to the waterfall from the bridge as well. The host Rodrigo was very welcoming, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond.

The location is absolutely amazing. If you surf you’re only about a 8 minute walk to the surf spot. You can walk to many different restaurants, grocery store. Every morning we were woken by different kinds of birds singing. The place itself is very nice. I do have a few negative things, the pillows are super thin, there was not any soap or shampoo (not a problem the store was close), the bathroom is on the first floor and if your wife is like mine who has to pee 6 million times during the night, I got tired of going up and down the stairs with her! The only other thing and it is in the description was no hot water, I thought my wife was joking when she told me this before booking the place. Nope! No hot water, the shower outside water is hotter! Other than these little items, the place is amazing, the host replied really fast when we needed anything, the location is amazing. We felt really safe! The price was great for this place. Just pack an extra pillow and soap!

Guiselle was extremely kind to take my last minute one night reservation and to let me check in early. The place is bright and comfortable. I didn’t use any of the small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, rice cooker, panini heater…) The fridge was clean and in good working order, as were the 3 fans. Guiselle was welcoming and efficient, and her place is well suited to anyone wanting to spend a few days in Puerto Jiménez. Thank you Guiselle!

Love this place! Super close to the river mouth and beach, local markets, and activities. Neighbors are super friendly, house is spacious and well designed, and the immersion in the jungle is unbeatable. The house is surrounded by macaws, toucans, and beautiful butterflies. You can hear howling monkeys in the distance, and can watch as a strong colony of leaf cutter ants work tirelessly (be mindful, don’t step on them!). Karla was a wonderful host and connected me with so many people to make my stay so memorable. Definitely recommend for families and groups, for people with dogs who need space to run anround, and surfers. Don’t forget to check out the pizza oven out back too!

This was an amazing stay!! The house had the most amazing views, tons of space, great kitchen. We felt right at home. The area is gorgeous. It really feels like one of the last undeveloped places on earth. Dirt roads and lots of nature right at the front door! We had a pair of toucans and a pair of Scarlet Mccaws keeping us company. The moneys stopped by to pick bananas, and we had an iguana keeping un company at the pool. It is a really special place! The bedrooms were super comfortable and very well cooled so we slept great. All the recommendations for excursions (deep sea fishing, nature hikes, horseback riding etc.) were all amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

A great place to stay surrounded by so much nature, the cabin is lovely and the swimming pool especially was a wonderful addition. Great communication from Ashley, very considerate and always responsive, I really appreciate all your help in making Julianna’s stay so memorable! Highly recommend.

Our family was only in town for 1 day to visit friends and ended up staying the day as we lost track of time . Ian was quick to respond and that helped us spend more time with our loved ones . Accommodations were accurate and he even came to meet us personally as we checked in to ensure everything was good. Very pleased with our late choice and we would go back in an instant. Didn’t hurt it was only 300yds to an amazing wave 😎🥰

Peter’s cabin is off grid, surrounded by nature and a two minute walk to the ocean. The location is remote (40 mins from Puerto Jimenez, 4x4 bumpy the last 10 mins) and encourages a pace of life slow down! Everyday we loved it more and more! The surrounding area and Peter’s property is truly spectacular and magical. The cabin is very simple, probably best described as rustic. It has wood louvres and screens on all the windows, ants as friends if you leave any morsel of food out. You can hear every piece of nature coming in, the first night we didn’t sleep, but once you adjust to the sounds of howler monkeys and cicadas, it’s so amazing! There is no AC, but he has fans that help circulate air. The front porch was our favourite spot. We ate every meal out at the table and could see birds and monkeys right from the chairs. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises at the ocean. Peter is a wealth of information. He’s super helpful and can do kayak, hiking and surfing tours. This is a special place.

This is the place to stay in Pavones!! Especially if you’re coming to surf! Right at the top of the point. You can keep tabs on the surf from your deck and paddle out when the waves and crowd dictate. Couldn’t have asked for a more helpful staff. Grounds were pristine, accommodations were great, pool was refreshing. Easy walk across the river into town. Perfect trip, perfect waves!! Thanks again Mili and Kenneth!!

This casita was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The pool was awesome, gorgeous views and incredible star gazing (and thunderstorms!). Great recommendations by Rolando for the nearby beach 🏖️ that was splendid and with parrots 🦜 and scarlet macaws. A great spot, highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great setup for our visit and we look forward to using this location again!

The Coconut Shakk is a magical birders paradise and Patti was an amazing host. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the house and property. It had all the modern conveniences and also offered anything you could want to relax and unwind. The deck has amazing views of the ocean and beautiful yard, the outdoor kitchen and seating areas were wonderfully designed and a great place to hang out and the yoga platform was an amazing space. Doing yoga while watching Scarlet Macaws and Toucans was the icing on the cake. The beach is a quick drive or you can also walk. We actually had a hard time prying ourselves away from the deck to do anything else. If you are a bird lover this is the property to pick. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot stress enough how perfect this property was and how wonderful Patti was from our first inquiry and throughout our time there. Thank you Patti for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

CasaZenn is a gem! We were very glad to be up at CasaZenn rather than right on the beach in Zancudo. It was so peaceful to retreat to the beautiful gardens, pool, and view of the ocean after playing at the beach or exploring the area. Tom and Hollie were super responsive and helpful! We had a few hiccups during our stay, (like an unusually long power outage) and they did everything they could do make sure we had what we needed. They also connected us with horseback riding and snorkeling tours within hours of asking. Both of which were wonderful! We saw dolphins in the bay and rode horses through the forest, hilltops, and beach. The highlight of CasaZenn is the attraction of surrounding nature. The mornings are incredible. Birdsong, howler monkeys, capuchins, and BUTTERFLIES! I have never seen so many butterflies, it feels like you are in a sanctuary. We also saw toucans, green parrots, macaws, and a sloth. The poolside is lovely morning, afternoons, or under the stars. 🦋

Wir haben die Tage bei Keyla sehr genossen. die Unterkunft ist absolut perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Jiménez. Etwas abgelegen der Hauptstraße und fußläufig zu allen wichtigen Orten und Restaurants. Die Waschmaschine in der Unterkunft ist ein Segen, vor allem nach einem Ausflug in den Corcovado NP. Rosser's place is magical. We loved every minute of it and cannot recommend it enough. She and her family live next door and are generous with their time and knowledge. Our kids hung out and loved each other but we also had enough space for when we needed to do our stuff. They are really amazing kids. We felt like we were leaving friends! The property itself is stunning. We saw Spider monkeys, macaws and even a sloth coming down a tree to do his weekly business. The ocean view is special but the forest view is spectacular!!! we really loved this trip and would recommend it to everyone with a 4x4

This was our family’s 5th trip to Pavones . We like to try different places and locations . Giselle’s home was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. We had a smaller group and it didn’t feel overwhelming as it’s a big place . Outdoor spaces were amazing , and a quick walk to essentially a private beach . (Only saw 1 person over 8 days ) a short walk to La Pina restaurant for a pizza or dinner and only 3-5 minutes from various spots near Pavones point. I will say this was perhaps the most well equipped kitchen and linens we have experienced yet . Oliver the caretaker was quite helpful and his English is fair . Overall a very positive experience. This is an amazing Air BnB. Luxurious and extremely spacious accommodation set in a veritable Garden of Eden. This is a very private location with spectacular views. Both the wildlife and bird life are spectacular. Access to the property is quite demanding. You definitely need a 4x4 and you definitely want to make use of the in-house catering. Ivan is a very good and a very flexible chef. Most of our party are vegetarian and teetotal. Ivan, supported by Marjorie, provided an excellent range of meals throughout the week and an inventive selection of fruit juices to drink.
