This cottage is a bargain. Small and tidy. Comfy bed in a quiet neighborhood. Just a short way off the 3 near a bunch of restaurants and wineries. My friends were paying $200 bucks at the hotel up the road! I highly recommend it.

Adela's place has 6 comfortable beds. There is a mini fridge where there is waters and some beers. There is enough space in the apartment, and there is a food stand in front of Adela's place. It's called Chemas. They sell burritos, burgers, and hotdogs. Their dogs are really friendly. Adela's husband is also very kind and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here. I recommend Adela's place if you ever go to TJ. 😁

My recent stay at La Siesta was awesome. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with impeccably clean rooms, made it feel like a home away from home. The standout feature was the genuinely caring staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, who went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. @Angel you are awesome thank you!

I knew Silvia was a great host as soon as we were arriving and she stayed up late past 11 pm to help us navigate to her place (which was not hard to find, you just have to be arriving from a certain direction). She was a great conversationalist and we talked in depth about many interesting topics. She graciously gave me four fresh organic eggs right from her own chicken coop when I forgot to bring my own for breakfast. It was really fun playing with her two sweet dogs and looking at all her goats. The sunset view is amazing from her place and we watched it from the rooftop overlooking the ocean, which is only a short distance below. Her garden is beautiful as well with cute benches, lights wrapped around poles, etc. It's an amazing getaway and a very competitive price and I would definitely come back for future surfing trips.

Gorgeous place with beautiful mountain, estuary and beach views. Super peaceful and private. Loved watching the sunset from the hot tub with a cocktail! Definitely make time to take a beach walk (8 minutes walk from the casita). On the weekends, there are horses available for beach rides, and also stands selling seafood and micheladas. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to all questions. Queen bed seemed brand new and was comfortable. Kitchen was spotless and they provided coffee and a large water for drinking (after that initial complementary bottle you can go buy drinking water nearby at many shops). We really enjoyed some local food at La Fonda (for beach view, fireside dinners), and Viva Mexico (for brunch/lunch). But the 30 minute drive into the Valle de Guadalupe is really worth it too, to check out wineries and more amazing food. I especially loved Fauna restaurant and Vena Cava winery in the Valle. Loved this sweet casita, and definitely hope to return soon!

We had to make last minute plans and David was quick to book. I needed a little help opening up the doors & gate and David made himself available to walk me they the process. I can’t wait to rent this property again. Everything we needed under one roof. The option to cook inside or outside. I loved the cool breeze on the deck

se encuentra en buena ubicación, zona tranquila, fácil de encontrar y segura, la casa cuenta con gran patio, estaba limpia y ordenada, cuenta con una pequeña area para hacer fogata y pasar un rato agradable, solo estuve 1 noche y sin problema alguno, agradecida por la estadía

At first we booked this villa thinking it was in downtown rosarito as the map indicated. This was not the case, as it was further south of rosarito, but still a lovely area. We arrived to the suggested address after driving for 6 hours and realized there was a bit of a mix-up (which is understandable with Mexican addresses). We then arrived and everything was sparkling clean, except for the kitchen sink, which the faucet was missing! We also noticed there was two of the bathrooms that 1) had an issue flushing, and 2) had a leaking seal at the base. Two days later someone came to repair the kitchen sink, as well as the toilet that wouldn’t flush. The toilet ended up breaking again, just a couple days after the repair. Not a big deal! We contacted the person responsible for the property locally in rosarito, and he assured us on multiple occasions that it would be repaired. Finally, near the end of our month stay we decided to contact Maxine directly, and she had ALL the issues resolved and repaired within a couple days. we greatly appreciate being able to stay here, as it was spacious and comfortable for my wife, dog and I. Great access to the beach, security that made us feel safe (and welcome), and an all around well stocked home for anyone that does cooking. I would still rate this a 5/5 despite all the issues because of the ease, we understand now that we were not contacting the right person to handle functional issues and how comfortable the Villa was. Walking distance to two oxxos, art galleries, as well as the numerous food vendors on the street.

The guest home is beautifully designed for the space, and includes a garage which added extra safety and convenience that my family and I appreciated. The host was responsive when we needed batteries or when I locked us out of the house and he provided a spare. The neighborhood is very close driving distance to the port and historic area. We loved local dining options and being a short drive from valle de Guadalupe with is gorgeous! We would definitely return to stay here if we visit the city again.

Love this spot we have stayed here a few times and we always feel at home. The bed is comfortable and the view is amazing

I highly recommend Jorge’s house. My family and I stayed for the long weekend. Jorge made us feel safe and welcomed. His house is impeccably clean and roomy. Jorge was great at recommending good spots to eat and where to take our kids. We will definitely return.
