I have never stayed in South Park before. This location was so fun! Lots of little places to walk to. No issues with parking.

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Had wonderful stay—it was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with well-maintained amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable, though it was a little chilly. The space had everything we needed and perfectly suited our accommodations, including all the essentials, especially for those who enjoy cooking!

Great location, most everything we wanted to do was within a 5-mile radius. (Balboa Park, zoo, USS Midway, Coronado). Grocery was within 1.5 miles. The space in the casita was well organized, comfortable, and efficient. Kitchen had everything we needed, fridge w freezer, toaster oven, washer/dryer and detergent. Great soundbar for enjoying music. Very comfortable bed. Great shower, and lots of natural light in the whole space. Street parking was not a problem. We felt very safe, nice residential neighborhood. Co-hosts Jane and Ian were very kind, welcoming, and responsive. We would stay here again if we ever get back to San Diego.

Ideal place for a couple. Lynae has furnished, equipped and maintained the apt as if she lives there. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. A car is needed to get to most attractions even into Bilbao Park.

Our stay at Meaghan and Dereks was absolutely amazing. It felt like a cozy little home in the middle of nature. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscape, hearing the birds, beautiful retreat away from the busy city life. Meaghan and Derek were very friendly and communicative making it easy to find the home and enjoy our time there.

I have stayed at Kristen's place a number of times. It's been my top choice for staying in San Diego for years. It's always clean and well-appointed, with just the right amount of supplies -- so it doesn't feel cluttered, but nothing is lacking. The view is stunning and Kristen and James are warm and welcoming, as always. It's just perfect.

Guest house on a quiet street, fairly close to SDSU. It was "home base" for our stay in San Diego, while visiting family. Easy access to highways. Local stores & restaurant s nearby. Cute kitchen & patio area. Well maintained.

I knew Silvia was a great host as soon as we were arriving and she stayed up late past 11 pm to help us navigate to her place (which was not hard to find, you just have to be arriving from a certain direction). She was a great conversationalist and we talked in depth about many interesting topics. She graciously gave me four fresh organic eggs right from her own chicken coop when I forgot to bring my own for breakfast. It was really fun playing with her two sweet dogs and looking at all her goats. The sunset view is amazing from her place and we watched it from the rooftop overlooking the ocean, which is only a short distance below. Her garden is beautiful as well with cute benches, lights wrapped around poles, etc. It's an amazing getaway and a very competitive price and I would definitely come back for future surfing trips.

We’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s and Julie’s place ranks up near the top! Her service, kindness and care were top notch. She was very responsive! The place was clean and private. The bed was comfy and Julie took care of all of our needs - even giving us some fruit from their trees! Would not hesitate to stay at Julie and Tim’s place again! Great hosts, great place, and great location!

Another stay, another great experience at Guillermo's place, always accommodating and everything was clean and comfortable as we have come to expect. First choice when staying in playas, highly recommend

when I go to chula vista, I always like to stay with Joana. The place its clean, smells nice and the bed its really comfortable, perfect for two. And love to have my parking spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ryan's place! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the dedicated parking was perfect. The unit is exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and nicely kept. The unit offered plenty of space for our party of two. We loved the small touches of bottled water in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and access to beach gear. Ryan was prompt in his communication and he was gracious in accommodating us. Some reviews did note that there was some airplane noise and although we did hear it in the morning we were still able to sleep in a bit. We would love to stay again the next time we are in town :)

It’s was amazing staying a Kim’s guesthouse. Felt very private and peaceful. The birds sounded so beautiful in the morning, we thought it was fake at first. The flowers just outside are beautiful. The beach within walking distance was a perfect place to play, lay out, watch the sunset and surfers. We even saw dolphins one night! Just a magical time. We will definitely come back!

The Mountain Guest House was a beautiful, comfortable home away from home. It was nice to stay at this Airbnb while vacationing in San Diego. Several great local restaurants are less than 10 minutes away. My dad and I were visiting Shadow Mountain Community Church, which was less than 6 minutes away, which was one of the reasons for choosing to stay here. If I am ever in San Diego again, I will stay here again, if available. Thank you, Bonnie, for being a wonderful host!

A beautiful setting & lovely guest house with charming decor. I prefer a no-host/no deadline check-in, especially as we were driving down from Los Angeles on a Friday afternoon, a 2.5-hour drive that took 5 hours -- and I was sweating that deadline the whole way. I was prepared for it, but ... The place could use a bit of maintenance/professional cleaning -- found a sock and dog bone under the bed, indicating that it hadn't been swept under there. The water seemed low in the Jacuzzi when we got in and an unpleasant foam formed almost immediately upon entry. Was not clear that it had been cleaned (or how well it had been cleaned) before our arrival. The host did warn us to watch our footing & heads while traversing the property, but the planking to the Jacuzzi and elsewhere, as well as hand-holds on railings, should be attended to. Wifi was weak/unreliable. Wasn't crazy about freeway noise either. All that having been said, it's a gem of a place that just needs updated TLC.

We had a very pleasant stay. The house was quiet, clean, and cozy. The view on the back deck is lovely. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the canyon. Great place to call home for the ten days that we stayed. Thank you, Denelle.

Nicely located. Very quiet. Clean inside and out. 6 minutes drive to the local Costco and Walmart. Always available free parking outside.
