Playas del Coco : locations de vacances avec accès à la plage

We absolutely love this place. This is our second year in playa Potrero. We have looked at multiple places in the area. This is by far the best location. On the beach, it has an amazing view. It is also close enough to all of the restaurants and bars. No need for a car or golf cart unless you want to travel out of town. We have visited multiple beaches north and south of there. This is a place that we would chose hands down. We like a chill environment with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. This is it!

We absolutely loved our time here! It’s in a beautiful location, close to town and beaches for things to do, but secluded enough to enjoy nature and relax. The view can’t be beat!

This was our second time staying here which speaks for itself. The location is perfect down on the quieter side of the beach/town, but literally minutes walk to everything town has to offer. We are already planning our next stay. Thanks Nick & Helene!

Dana place is beautiful. Right on the beach, many activities and tons of delicious restaurants. The studio was super clean and location is very safe. Parking was a breeze. Host was awesome. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our family could not have had a better experience. Arun’s place is peaceful, luxurious, and truly a respite from the hustle bustle of life. Everything was spotless and the concierge was so helpful. The beauty and relative ease of life made us all relaxed, better versions of ourselves. We skipped renting a car and opted for arranged transport to and from the airport, and we rented a golf cart. We were so glad we did! The streets felt safe and we enjoyed the short rides (minutes!) to the beach, shops, restaurants. Every member of our family remarked on how it would be tough to beat this place - the views, amenities, pool, proximity to good food and a world-class beach. The only downside of this vacation is that future trips may pale in comparison to this one :). Pure vida!

Would 100% stay here again. Wow the view is stunning. Beds were comfy, ac worked well. Access to the beach right there, pool was nice. Great place and nice neighbors. Had a window blind that was broken when we showed up and management came and took care of it immediately. Beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and some pool toys were in the closet which we thoroughly enjoyed!! We stayed here on NYE and were able to see fireworks all around sitting on the beach, fantastic way to ring in the new year. Great stay!

This place was outstanding! One of the best locations in Playa Langosta. Antonio, the caretaker, was one of the most thoughtful and caring people we met our whole month traveling around Costa Rica. He made sure we had everything we needed and we left feeling like family. He will make your stay extra special!

Overall great place. Would stay here again. The balcony is basically shaded all day which I liked. There are plenty of other places at the pool or beach with Sunshine! Also, there is a full view of the pool from the balcony so I could watch the kids from there as well as a descent view of the beach and ocean. Washer and dryer in the condo was a big plus.

We stayed with our family for three nights during spring break and had a wonderful time! There are some great restaurant recommendations (don’t skip Estero Azul!), and the house was walkable to the main strip of Playa Potero if you didn’t mind walking on no sidewalk roads for part of the journey. The kids loved the pool, and at least when we were there the beach was almost deserted and an easy walk from the house. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room darkening curtains were actually darkening!!

Diane’s place is very close to the ocean and within walking distance of the markets and restaurants. Great vacation! Would stay again.

My family enjoyed 11 nights at John’s place. The house was more spacious than expected. All amenities needed were available. We felt safe at the house and surrounding area. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it daily. There is a grocery store and 5 restaurants very close by. Tamarindo is about a 15 min walk. We did not have a car. You can rent golf carts if needed. Beaches - Playa Langosta is a very short walk 5 min and you can walk to Tamarindo beach in about 15 min. Tamarindo is busier, it was nice to stay in a quieter area. Howler monkeys were seen morning and night right on the roof of the house and trees in the yard. We also saw iguanas and variegated squirrels in the yards along with a number of birds. Cleaning service was included in the stay the lovely lady came a number of times while we were there. John was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my many questions prior and during our stay. We would stay again at John’s villa.

We had a great stay at Dirk’s place. The area is very relaxing. Four restaurants nearby and a small mini mart. The house is right next to the entrance to the beach. The beach is spectacular. A few miles long, great surfing, wonderful sunsets, and not crowded compared to the beach at Tarmarindo. We stayed for two weeks. The first week we rented a car to do grocery shopping, etc. The second week we just relaxed using nearby restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the pool when not at the beach. If you want to go to Tarmarindo it is about a 15 minute walk on the beach to the inlet that separates the two areas, you can then use the locals with their boats to cross. Cost $2 per person. Boats start at 8 and stop at 5. Dirk is a great host. He helped us with renting the car, and was generous with his recommendations. Look forward to returning.

Best location in Langosta if cant be right on the beach. Between excellent grocery store and Pizza restaurant. Small home that needs a few updates with 2 bed 1 bath. Note that it is a shared pool and since the pool is right in front of front door/patio area, you may not have much privacy to read a book or converse privately if others are using the pool/chairs. Good host communication. I think any inconveniences are offset by the great location and price.

Jake’s place is absolutely fantastic. It’s bigger and nicer than the photos suggest. It was a great place to have as home base for a week. We travelled with our 10 month old and the layout was great for having children. The location is wonderful, it is a safe, quiet and secure complex with private entry to the beach. The ocean is only a few meters away and the views from the condo and balcony are amazing. We could see the water and listen to the waves as well as watch wildlife such and monkeys and iguanas in the trees. The beach itself is terrific and much quieter than Tamarindo. The pool was recently remodeled and is beautiful and was a great place to retreat during the heat of the day. Several restaurants and a market are within easy walking distance. Jake is super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

We LOVED our stay at Villa Neptune. The outside area with the pool was perfect for the very hot Costa Rica days. The pictures are exactly what the property is. The beach is right across the street and almost always empty. Conchal beach is about a 15 min walk. Definitely worth a visit! You are surrounded by local Costa Ricans, not a tourist attraction at all and that is what we preferred. Plenty of touristy things to do not too far from the house. The best thing that came with this house was the caretaker, Vidal! He was a huge asset to us. He used to work as a tourist guide so he can direct you and help you pick your excursions. He drove us places several times when asked and he was even our own personal guide for a day at Diamanté. He rented a shuttle, bc their were 8 of us, and drove us all over the country. He set my family up on a snorkeling adventure and they had the best morning! This is not something most airbnbs have access too! Muriel will send you everything you need

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument délicieux chez Kenneth. L’appartement était encore mieux que sur les photos. Nous avions un patio, des chaises et des serviettes de plage à disposition. L’appartement est situé à 2 minutes de la plage dans un environnement très calme . Kenneth est un hôte charmant et très attentionné.

Arrived at 9 PM. There was still parking available. There was a 24-hour onsite security guard that said "hi". Within 20 minutes we were in the unit and had the car entirely unloaded. The apartment is a small 2-bedroom 1-bath but the patio on the roof is the size of the entire apartment, giving plenty of room for a family. The patio has a covered dining table that easily seats 6, and nice patio furniture that would also seat 6. Our family ate dinner on the patio instead of in the apartment. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes, even with kids, and the beach was great for the kids to play on. Surf was only 1-2 feet and the water was warm. I could walk out 100 feet and the water was only up to my shoulders. The pool was nice, but not large, and was always in use. Our family was the largest group there and didn't feel crowded in the pool.

This was a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s condo. The condo was on the 2nd floor and the building was secure with a gate. Easy quick walk to the Main Street and water. We felt very comfortable and safe. Stephanie responded quickly to any questions and had very helpful ideas. The inside of the condo was so cute, beachy vibe, newly remodeled and has everything we needed including many towels and a washer and dryer. We loved this spot and would highly recommend it. You do not need a car to get around but if you have one, parking is no problem. Thanks for everything Stephanie!

Wonderful view of the water from the moment you walk in the front door! We didn’t get tired of looking at the water or listening to the waves on the large deck. We traveled with another couple and there was plenty of space for everyone. Although we didn’t cook in, it appeared there were ample plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pans, etc. There was a coffee maker, microwave and a blender, but no toaster. The beds in all rooms were firm. The white sand beach in Flamingo is beautiful and my favorite in Costa Rica. The town of Flamingo has several restaurants/bars and the Flamingo marina is also very close. You can walk to the beach, restaurants/bars and marina, but the condo is up a steep hill. We elected to rent a golf cart and were also able to see Potrero and Brasilito. I loved the location of the condo and we had a great time.

Great place! Wonderful amenities and walking distance from restaurants and grocery store! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Daphne's place was as described. It was clean and well appointed. It had all the essentials we needed and appreciated the extras such as beach chairs and beach towels. The area was very walkable to beach, restaurants and grocery stores. The grounds and pool were well kept and always being cleaned. Daphne was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had as well as recommendations for activities, car rental and restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our stay here!

Vincent’s apartment is very comfortable,clean and in a good location. The kitchen was one the the best stocked one we have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone, with one exception. If you have mobility problems, there are 51 stairs from the front gate to the upstairs bedrooms. Wasn’t an issue for us. 😊

This place was amazing and exactly as described. We have a family of 4 (2 kids aged 11 and 9). This place was very quite which we loved (only 3 cars in the parking lot for our entire stay). Lots of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. The marina nearby is only a few years old and is beautiful. Nicest one I have ever seen with plenty of shops within it. The beach is nice due to it's location. The water is a little calmer than the beach on the other side of the point. Beautiful sand and felt private compared to some of the other popular beaches. Would come back again!
