We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We only walked to the beach once for the sunrise, but spent the rest of the time in the house. We loved that each room was spacious, clean, and had a bathroom for each room.

Our stay at the little “inn” tuition was amazing. We were down in NC for a wedding and the location was central to all our friends and the venues for the events. The hot tub was especially a treat at the end of the day. Although we did not need the use of the kitchen I was pleasantly impressed with all the spices and cookware available. The suggestions for places to eat were also very helpful. I have already recommended this particular location to friends when they want to visit the area.

My wife and I have stayed here 4 times now and always wish we could stay longer: the house is peaceful and cozy and has everything we need. Location is fantastic and the beach is never crowded. Definitely recommend this place for a weekend (or longer) getaway.

Bryan's place definitely felt like a little home away from home on the beach. It's a quaint cottage, packed with essentials and was just the right size for us two. I was very thankful for its size and no stairs when I unfortunately sprained my ankle on day 2 of our vacation and had to hobble around in crutches the rest of the time! Even though you're right off the main road, there was no noise and was pretty quiet and peaceful. Beach access is right down the road and very easily walkable, or hobbable. The hot tub was a great plus to relax in after a long night. Bryan was very communicative and prompt with questions we had prior to booking. Check-in was very easy and check-out instructions were very reasonable and clear. Overall a great stay that we would definitely book again!

One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Everything was exactly as described. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington but absolutely worth it for the privacy and seclusion we wanted for our anniversary weekend. You could tell Kristy was thoughtful in making sure we felt right at home. We will for sure be staying here when we’re in the area again.

Jim was a great host, always responsive. We had a slight issue with the air conditioner and within 10 minutes a professional came and resolve the problem quickly. Jim followed up with us after the first night to check in and see how we were all doing and asked if we needed anything. Overall, a fantastic property, a great host. We had a very pleasant stay. Very gorgeous home, the screened in porch was definitely a bonus. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. Highly recommended

Adam was an awesome host! He was pleasant and prompt with his communication and very accomodating. You can't beat the location of the house and the proximity to the beach and the quality of nearby restaurants. People in the neighborhood were also very friendly. We were surprised to see that the front and back of the property were sand and dirt and that there was a home being built next door. Despite this, it was a great place to stay and we have already recommended the home to others.

We spent Thanksgiving at Topsail this year and rented Cheryl’s house to have extra space for our family in addition to our home next door. The kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed to fix our Thanksgiving meal! The house does not feel much like a rental, but more like staying at a family member’s home. We very much enjoyed our stay and the spectacular views of the sunset!

Super clean and comfy accommodations. Loved the beach decor throughout the cottage! Great location minutes away from the beach. The fire pit area is so nice and peaceful. Really appreciated having firewood available. Tim was friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend.

Leslie Ann's place was perfect size for our family of four. We loved the space underneath the house, which was spacious and great for hanging out. The location was amazing being less than 5 minute walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and stores. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

Absolutely perfect place!!!!! Perfect for me and my pup!! It's in the details!!! The place was spotlessly clean, labeled, well-maintained, had everything you needed, and smelled great! Easy check-in and check-out instructions. I had a bad experience with another Airbnb. Lisa was super sweet, accommodating, and flexible. She responded quickly to my late reservation made at 11 p.m. on the same night; within 10 minutes, she approved it. I loved being there and cannot wait to return and stay at Lisa’s properties again. Also, the “master room” has cervical pillows for those with neck problems.

The place was as advertised. Great location for going to the beach and getting food. Pay to park everywhere in town so it was great to be able to walk.

I loved everything about our stay. It was so clean. The porch, decor, bed (mattress was exactly my comfort level) the sound machine was great. Craftsmanship was well done. Heating units were efficient & quiet, easy instructions. The area was quiet and so close to the beach. Being able to hear the ocean from the cottage was a nice suprise, it felt like we were on the water. There are horses (and maybe a donkey) nearby. That was another bonus because I love seeing animals in beautiful surroundings. We ordered food from Sorellis Pizza (pizza, pepperoni rolls) & Sea Biscuit Cafe (Fried Green Tomato Blt, Braised shirt rib grilled cheese) all were delicious. Anywhere went in the area the staff was so friendly. Gretchen was very kind/thoughtful, I truly appreciated that. My hubby and I agree, this was a fantastic getaway. One of our faves, like right at the top. I have a feeling we'll be back! I loved feeling safe comfortable and right at home. Thanks Gretchen.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has a 'beachy' feel to it and we felt relaxed and in beach mode the second we walked in. The path to the beach was right across the street from the house and the beach location is hard to beat....simply magnificent. Everything we needed from Publix to restaurants was just minutes away. Shannon and I highly recommend this home and we are sure to be back soon! Glenn

I stayed for a long weekend with my mother and six year old daughter and we all loved it. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We really appreciated how communicative the hosts were, going out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. We will definitely return!

We stayed a month in this air bnb while our condo was getting finished . Marla was very kind and always answered if we had a question. This was a great place to stay. our Grand daughter came for over night visit and we visited the park right down the street. We got to check out beautiful views at The marina. Marla place was so clean and pet friendly for our golden doodle. We were glad to find this place . I would refer anyone to stay at this nice cottage hosted by Marla she is a awesome host.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach house! My wife, our three kids, and I cherished every single moment.The house was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for our family to relax. The decor was lovely, and the amenities were exactly what we needed for a comfortable and stress-free vacation. The kids loved the proximity to the beach, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house that made it feel like home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great family getaway!

Our family had a fabulous time here! We loved sitting on the porch with an ocean view, being steps away from the beach and being right in town close to restaurants and activities. Michael was a great host, friendly and responsive! The place was pristine and well set up to accommodate our family of four. It felt like home during our time here! We would definitely recommend for anyone coming to Carolina beach!

The Yellow Cottage was our top choice for this area based on affordability, privacy, and most importantly- it was perfect for our puppies. The home was very welcoming. Within minutes of unloading our car, my wife and I felt that we could immediately sit down and relax from our long drive while our dogs stretched their legs in the backyard. That kind of feeling is hard to describe fully in words and hard to come by on top of that. The host, Joseph, promptly responded and addressed a couple issues we had during our stay. He went beyond the call of duty with his assistance which was much appreciated. We’re definitely staying here again in the future!

My husband, our 4.5-year-old son, and I absolutely loved the “Captain’s Hideout.” We stayed for two nights. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and the location feels private. The house is spotless, looks newly renovated, is well-stocked, and stylish. My son and I adored all the details of the marine-themed design. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces - the grill and the fire pit, I think they are perfect spots for 4–5 people. Kristi and Ian always replied promptly. We asked to check in a little early and check out a little later, and they kindly accommodated us. I got to meet both Kristi and Ian in person during our stay, and they are incredibly nice people! There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like about the “Captain’s Hideout.” We’re planning to come back!
