Perfect place and location. Loch on doorstep was just beautiful. Hot tub was amazing and having a barbecue just topped it off. We had a great time and made lovely memories as a family would definitely come back.

We enjoy this cottage so much that this is the 3rd time we have been. The perfect place to relax.

we had an amazing mini break at Balblair cottage. being greeted by 4 Highlands cows at the parking area was amazing. Matthew happened to pass on the first day as we were going into the house and he was keen to tell us about the cows and the property. Matthew was very helpful with any questions we had and was a tremendous host. can't wait to come back to the area as it has so many stunning walks for my dogs and family. 10/10

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! The local neighborhood of Geary is beautiful and serene. The views from the bedroom and hot tub are stunning. The kitchen is super well-stocked. Michelle was very responsive and an amazing host! Would love to go back!

Lovely little cottage. Very private, virtually no neighbours. Place was clean and comfortable. Hot tub is high end and kept to temperature, so it’s ready to go when you get there. Great location, pretty short drive away from some great lochs.

What an amazing place! This was perfect for us and our two young children. After a day of travel, the hot tub was a welcomed way to relax. The kids loved it too; something they were looking forward to after sight seeing. The second night we experienced a typical Scottish weather day, especially windy and wet, so the fireplace was in high demand. And the views just breathtaking. Although we didn’t have time to utilize, it was a surprise to have both washer and dryer available on site. Everything you need to enjoy your remote getaway. Highly recommend!

From start to finish this was a great place to stay. Very cosy and welcoming. There was a well appointed kitchen and very pleasant dining area, the garden was beautiful with a 'hot tub' which we didn't use and there were plenty of towels and a couple of bathrobes which we did use. Rosemarkie itself is a lovely village which we have visited many times and this house is 2 minutes from a super sandy beach. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

We absolutely adored our stay here. It was very comfortable and cozy, felt like home instantly. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant that had been recommended. Mairi met us and was very welcoming and showed us around the property. Great amenities, very accurate description of property given. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you for having us!

Alistair’s cottage in Skye was charming, welcoming, and the perfect base for our adventures around the island. The cottage is filled with unique artworks and Alistair provided clear instructions and helpful local recommendations!

A fabulous wee cottage and the surrounding area was beautiful. Great base for hill walking and exploring everything Loch Ness has to offer. Kate was very informative from the very beginning, always quick to respond to any queries we had. Loved the welcome items and the little bag of goodies for our dog. Would definitely recommend this little cottage. Thanks again Kate for being so helpful 😃

He pasado unos días muy agradables. El alojamiento es exactamente lo que esperaba, tranquilo, en un entorno muy agradable. Se pueden dar paseos muy agradables y caminar justo al mar viendo las Hébridas al fondo y llegar al faro de Rua Reidh Lighthouse. El propietario está pendiente y responde rápido si se le pregunta, pero no está presente ni encima todo el tiempo. Da instrucciones claras sobre la llegada y cómo acceder a la vivienda.

Supertolle Lage mit Meersicht. Una ist eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin und in der Unterkunft findet man alles, was man benötigt. Die Umgebung ist toll!

Wir haben eine super Zeit hier verbracht, unsere Hunde werden den Garten vermissen. Ein super Startpunkt für viele Ausflüge und anschließend in die richtige ruhige Umgebung von Knockbain zurück kommen, traumhaft. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen. Vielleicht ist das Wetter beim nächsten Mal nicht so schottisch 😅 Danke für alles

We stayed here for 5 nights but could’ve easily stayed much longer! It’s just such a nice place that really feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The room with the windows facing the sea is a great place to hang out, look out over the coast and watch all the birds fly by - grabbing your binoculars when you think you see something special :) Our 1,5 year old daughter really enjoyed the house too (she loved all the children’s books!). Bit challenging to keep her off the stairs but the multi-purpose fire guard worked a treat!

Was unbelievable views from the windows of this cute cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return. Great park for our grandson. Short drive to amenities. Would recommend to our family and friends. Thank you for a memorable time.

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

Beautiful and homely cottage in a stunning setting. We saw highland cows, seals, hares and of course sheep, practically right on the doorstep. So quiet and peaceful, with amazing views at all times of day/ no matter the weather. Cally was an amazing host and always very helpful and easy to talk to. We loved meeting her dogs too!

Such an incredible location! Arrived at night so waking up the following morning to the surrounding was fantastic. Kids had the best time playing the snow and we explored the walking tracks literally outside the cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. Such a great escape where we were able to reset and reconnect as a family. We’ll definitely be back in warmer months to experience the bike tracks nearby.

Einfach herrlich! Das Squirrel cottage war einfach nur unglaublich schön! Der Empfang war hervorragend und herzlich, schade war nur dass wir nicht mehr Zeit dort verbringen konnten. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen und länger dort verweilen! Callum hat uns verwirrte Touristen an der Einfahrt eingesammelt und eingewiesen. Leider konnten wir uns nicht richtig verabschieden, da wir uns komplett in der Zeit verloren hatten. Durch die Umstellung auf die Sommerzeit sind wir komplett aus dem Tackt gekommen. We spent just 2 nights in Skye and the air bnb was perfect for us. Close to local restaurants and a supermarket. We loved the little wood burning stove. The place was cosy and Willie and Gloria lovely hosts.

Lovely cosy cottage, close to the Famous three chimney restaurants, quick drive to Dunvegan castle, we got to do lots in the area as the weather just held out for us. If you want a quiet but convenient place to stay, this will suit a single or couple. Narrow roads but most people courteous

We had the most wonderful few days at the Crofter’s house to celebrate our mini-moon! It’s the perfect bolt hole to explore Skye from and disconnect from the real world. We’ll be back for sure!

What a magical place! You truly can’t beat the views, or the calmness they bring you. One of the most memorable locations we’ve ever stayed in. The cottage is beautiful and cozy, and has everything you need. You can easily stay there and just watch the world (Highland animals & the ever-changing weather) go by or do beautiful walks within the estate around the lochs. The closest shops are a while away so recommend packing well and bringing everything you need during your stay with you. My only comment would be re the instructions on finding the place - the location given guides you to the lodge. The actual cottage is further 2 miles away. We arrived when it was dark and would not have found it (plus there’s no service!) but luckily we knocked on the only house with lights on and accidentally found Neil (the lovely chap looking after the cottage). He was so helpful and nice and made our stay even better. We will definitely return to Coulin!
