Great Little place in a beautiful setting in the woods. the room was great nice and warm stocked with everything needed. the host was beyond friendly and would respond to you in a moments notice should you need anything . I would highly recommend this spot as a great getaway in a peaceful mountain setting . I will definitely be back. Thank you

Great location! We loved the private dock and being right next to Carol’s and a short distance via car or boat to Plumas Pines Restaurant! Cabin is clean and cozy. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Would love to book again!

Charming little cabin, well appointed, comfortable accommodations during a winter stay, would recommend to anyone who enjoys exploring the outdoors and wants to visit the Feather River Canyon. Liz was very helpful and responsive.

What an absolutely charming place!! Tucked up into the mountain between Belden & Quincy, this place is BEAUTIFUL & feels so secluded and peaceful, but is only 15 minutes from the adorable town of Quincy. Feather River is gorgeous and I pulled over 100 times to soak in the view/many waterfalls. For how remote this place is, the cabin was CLEAN! We have stayed in lots of small little remote cabins over the years and they always have spiders you just can’t seem to avoid up in the mountains. But this place was clearly very well taken care of and did not have any insect friends wandering inside that we saw. The toilet in our original cabin that we booked had an issue, but they were super quick to help us and move us over to another cabin. I was very impressed with their quick response and how friendly they were! The lower half of the site has an incredible “beach” area, this time of year it was a perfect spot to sit and read and watch the rapids! I definitely hope to visit again soon!

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

Great winter retreat! We found this place for the long Presidents’ Day weekend and absolutely loved it. We’d never heard of Paxton before, but the river, lodge, and surroundings were so beautiful. The cabin stayed plenty warm for us and our infant. Would 10/10 recommend for the next person who is on the fence!

Cute cabin very close to the Lake with great beach for swimming and paddle boarding. Had a great time.

The Chateau was something else. Best equipped vacation rental I have ever been in. Plenty of space for all 7 of us. Dream kitchen. Wonderful fireplace for those cooler mornings. Tons of toys for the kids. The community park was great for our dinners and just hanging out swimming and playing with the grandchildren. We had a great stay in your home. We enjoyed our stay. The lake front was beautiful. Unfortunately we started our vacation at same time as the Park Fire. So we were restricted to activities outdoors. The home is a cabin and that is what you should expect. Except nicely remolded bathrooms. The cabin comes with the beauty of the lake and all the wildlife that comes along with it. Order a pie from Carols you won’t be disappointed.

My first stay in an air bnb. I have to say I really enjoyed myself. The swimming hole was great for a cool refreshing dip and the deep bathtub was perfect for a long relaxing soak. There were plenty of extra linens and she was quick to respond when I had a question. I would defiantly stay there again
