The views of water and private beach access were wonderful! The cottage is just as the pictures show and home as great appliances with everything labeled. It’s fully equipped for a long weekend stay. The hosts were also wonderfully accommodating and exceptionally responsive! The spiral stairs to the main bedroom upstairs are a charming feature, but might be a consideration for some as they were narrow and steep. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Chris’s house was so nice, roomy and peaceful! It was just as listed. The views from the house were amazing. We really appreciated having the kayaks available for use. It was a beautiful weekend to enjoy the water. We also appreciated having wood, wood starter and a lighter on hand, to hangout and have a fire at night. This house was just what we were looking for. We will definitely book again! Thanks Chris!

Tom is a super friendly host with a lovely home. We really enjoyed the views from the cabin and the deck amenities (hot tub, string lights, grill). The porch right inside had a great sitting area and view of the lake during the day. This was also very close to a number of things, including Ann Arbor, which was really convenient.

Mary Sue’s cottage is clean, comfortable, cozy, and charming with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the lake. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. We enjoyed biking to Ure’s for a delicious country-style breakfast, touring a local winery and brewery, and visiting several quaint neighboring towns. The Salty Dog in Amherstburg should not be missed! Another fun weekend find was the Polish Beach Club, which is a unique back-yard authentic restaurant on a private stretch of sandy beach. We wished we’d had access to kayaks or a paddle boat; but all in all, it was a lovely stay, and Mary Sue was a wonderful host!

A GEM BY THE LAKE - With its lakeside location in a quiet neighbourhood, Rosanne’s property is super welcoming with a well equipped, large kitchen-cum-dining space, facing north, which is open to the south (back) great room, with its comfy sofas and chairs, games equipment and desk with brochures of local area points of interest, maps, etc. Through floor to ceiling windows of the great room, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the lake inviting you onto the outdoor verandah to enjoy the sights and sounds (sunrises, sunsets) that’ll wow you! The second floor main suite is idyllic - a huge south-facing room with loveseat, ensuite bathroom, humongous closet and a balcony with comfy seating. Two more bedrooms (north facing) are on 2nd floor, with a 4th downstairs (west-facing). Another bathroom (east side) is also downstairs. Every space is extremely clean, well decorated but not cluttered. One of THE best homes we’ve experienced. Thank you Rosanne for hosting us and our pups.

We loved this cabin. Real kayaks to use and are easy to access. The yard is amazing, neighbors are nice and gave us tips about the lake. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house itself is incredibly clean and cozy, and has all the things you need. I read some previous reviews about the water; I can see why it’s surprising to people who have only had city water, but I think it’s pretty typical well water and is fine to use and drink. The owner also provided bottled water.

Great central location for visiting family in Michigan - east to get to lansing and Ann Arbor. Peaceful little place to relax

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this Airbnb in Kingsville, ON! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was meticulously maintained and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The game room was an absolute hit – perfect for family fun or unwinding after a day of exploring. It was stocked with plenty of entertainment options, and we found ourselves spending hours enjoying the space. The backyard was another highlight. The views were breathtaking, with a peaceful and relaxing vibe that made it hard to leave. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a sunset, the outdoor space was truly magical. Everything was spotless – the attention to cleanliness was evident throughout the home. It felt as though we were staying in a high-end hotel but with the comfort and charm of a home away from home. Lastly, the host's responsiveness was exceptional. Any questions or requests we had were promptly addressed, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.

Beautiful lake front property. I would highly recommend! Tim was a great host and fast to communicate. You will enjoy this place!

Our stay at Kim and Paul’s was a wonderful and peaceful stay. The sauna is a great touch which is what lead me to book their place. Such beautiful views, very clean and tidy, and felt very cozy. We’ll definitely be back again when the weather gets warmer to enjoy the outdoors more!

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

Great place to stay. The house is just as listing states. Clean and cute. Fenced in yard was a great perk. Will be back again if in the area!

I had a fantastic weekend at Julie’s cottage! The place was cozy, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Julie was an excellent host—she was responsive, thoughtful, and provided great recommendations for local activities. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with friends. I’d highly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again! Thank you, Julie, for making our trip memorable!

We enjoyed stay over here, nice Lake Brizee house in front of Lake, but no direct access to the Lake. There are everything that we needed with family of 4, you can fit 6 people for sure. Nice house in peaceful country area.

Great little getaway place! We were in town for a dance competition but would definitely go back for a vacation in the summer! Any little request I had was happily, and easily met. Very easy and simple checkout instructions made the process very nice.

Host was very responsive and accommodating. Home was nice and comfortable for our family. We had everything we needed. Neighborhood was quiet and close to where we needed to be for the weekend.

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

We had a lovely stay at Bustersplace! It was close to beautiful wineries, local shops and restaurants and the beach just as described. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! We enjoyed cooking on the grill, playing bocci ball in the backyard and relaxing with a movie at the end of the day. Kingsville was a great addition to our vacation and this home was the perfect place to stay!

Wonderful hosts!! Perfect location for access to tranquility of the lake, hustle and bustle of Ann Arbor, and an easy drive to Frakenmuth for the holiday store! The cottage was cozy and perfect for our family with a 2 and 4 year old. The hosts had toys and books to entertain our littles and the space was perfect for us to simply relax as a family. The hosts also went out of there way to offer toddler amenities so we didn’t have to bring extra since they have toddlers as well! In addition, the water filter system broke before we got there and they provided water for our family! Absolutely wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely look into staying there again if we find ourselves in the area!

Iwona’s cottage was the perfect getaway. We rented her place to celebrate my best friend’s birthday as we were planning on spending the Sunday visiting wineries in the local area. Overall, the accommodations were good and everything that we required however, the external could definitely use a couple more lights just to illuminate the front to make finding the driveway easier at night. As we had left to go for dinner and upon returning had some difficulty seeing the drive way. There were also some notable marks upon check-in on the one wall by the garbage can. However, nothing that took away from the cottage or our experience. Would be lovely in the summer as there was a private access to the beach dried fly in front of the backyard. The bathroom and kitchen were newly renovated. Quick and easy communication.
