Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

Had a Thanksgiving weekend with my family. Diana’s Birchwood beach house was the prefect spot for our families. Large clean bedrooms. 2 huge bathrooms. Amazing kitchen and dining room. Diana has thought of everything that you would need. This place had it all. Would definitely recommend it for you and your family. Diana was very helpful and responsive. This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

I had a fantastic stay at this little home on the water for my anniversary! The enclosed porch was great for staying warm while watching the moonrise and sunrise. The private beach is a beautiful touch to get down close to the water. The view from this location can’t be beat! We were able to watch boats and birds with ease, and we had frequent visits from a friendly neighborhood cat who made our trip that much more special. The bathroom was a little smaller than anticipated, but everything functioned well and we had an excellent stay. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to relax by the water.

It was a last minute decision to book this and I’m so glad I did. It is a lovely, spacious home that was very comfortable. I liked that the beach was so close for winter walks. The host responded to any questions promptly making the experience totally enjoyable. I highly recommend this home for your next stay!

This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

This is easily one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The place was beautiful, had all listed amenities, and was in a great location. Has views of the river and is close to several great downtown Sarnia restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sarnia!

Great place to stay! LOVED the sunrise on Lake Huron! The lake looked like the ocean with all of its beautiful colors. Sandy beach was a blast for the kids. Great rock collecting and sea glass too. The house was so modern, clean and fit our two families of four just fine. Downtown Lexington is super cute and we had fun browsing the shops and eating ice cream at Scoops Ahoy :) Greatest swimming of my husband's life he said. We had a wonderful time.

What a cozy, peaceful getaway. Exams in university have been stressful and especially after the winter exam season, Cliff Haven was the perfect, much needed, relaxing getaway. The view from the living room window was a joy to wake up to every day, and the quiet neighborhood streets were ideal for our morning walks. The amenities were all in good condition and there was tons of stuff to do inside on those particularly cold days - playing board games and watching movies on the large screen tv were some of our favourites. Pinery Provincial Park was a beautiful experience as well… We enjoyed 2 amazing days cross country skiing on some of the most amazing trails we have ever seen - quite the hidden gem!! Awesome stay for a romantic weekend getaway. Clean, well decorated, well maintained and great atmosphere with helpful instructions. Absolutely coming back with my wife multiple times and we have already started recommending to our friends.

Our family had a wonderful time at Suzanne’s. The house was very spacious with everything we needed. It’s a short walk down to a lovely sandy beach where we had lots of fun swimming and making use of the paddle board. Suzanne was extremely helpful and communicative. We hope to come back again!

The sunset shore cottage is fantastic! Great location between Grand Bend and Bayfield, private beach, quiet area! Cottage is family friendly and spacious. Absolutely recommend

This location and space of this home is amazing. Check-in was smooth and communication was easy. I would rent this again and hope to in the future. - There are 3 separate rentals on the property so the beach and grounds are not private. - There is no usable WIFI as the internet speed is less than 1MB (dial up) You could not use this as a location for remote work as there is little cell reception also.

Very clean and comfortable- Kelly was a very friendly & attentive host. First rate paddle boards, kayak, canoe and beach toys were above expectations & I really enjoyed the large modern barbecue grill.

This was a little slice of heaven. We got exactly what we were looking for. The home was very warm and inviting. Carla was very responsive to any questions I had. I could not have had a better trip. On a side note, I strongly recommend trying the Schoolhouse Restaurant when you are on the island. You will not regret it. If you are looking for heaven, look no further and spend a little time at this wonderful home.

We found the home clean and comfortable and very impressively designed. The area felt very safe. Overall, we had a great family retreat and were very satisfied. Mana responded quickly and accommodated our request for early check in. We hope to do something similar next year, and might come here again, but probably will try another area for variety. This stay confirmed that Airbnb is a good choice.

We chose this place last minute since the weather was going to be bad over the weekend and we wanted some fun activities to do for our 4 teenaged kids. The place was huge so we invited my sister’s family and our parents and it was perfect and comfortable for all of us! There was so much to do for everyone on a rainy weekend in April. Indoor pickleball, basketball, 2 ping pong tables, corn hole, pool table, basic workout weights, board games, yoga studio, etc. The distances are a bit far but totally walkable and there is a lake and creek so little kids should be supervised but highly recommend this place for older kids who are independent and love exploring… for our high school kids it was perfect! The views of Lake Erie were stunning! Highly recommend for a family weekend getaway. I’d come again but stay longer than the weekend. So much to do, so little time!!!

Our annual ladies weekend trip was a huge success thanks mostly to this amazing location. So much room for everyone to have their own space. ...So much to do. The pool and hot tub were so inviting and the games room was a huge added bonus. Ellen was very responsive and great to work with. I think we found the place for all our future trips as well.

We are a family of four that just completed a 5 day stay for the week of NYE and had the absolute best time here. This places is a dream come true, it is gorgeous, spacious and feels like a luxury getaway. Even in the winter with not much to do outdoors there was more than enough to keep us and our 2 small kids (ages 6 and 7) busy all day long. The games room is amazing and kept our kids busy and the old school arcade games were so much fun! The sauna/swim spa was amazing for both us adults to relax in and kids to play in. The house it self was stunning with a fully loaded kitchen that we cooked in 3x a day. The home stunning and even with most days being overcast the view still felt like we were at the ocean. The customer service and communication is top notch and there were so many generous little extras that made the stay feel like we were in a hotel. I cannot recommend this place enough and we are already looking at when we can book it again to go back.
