A couple of days of peace and tranquillity with the family and dog. Everything we were looking for. Great hosts, Jim was lovely to talk to in passing. Close to the beach and coast for the day then let the sun set and enjoy your own company.

Rosalind and her husband were amazing hosts. The venue is ideal for visiting beaches with many just 15+ minutes away. The Beech Pod is very dog friendly with an enclosed terrace area overlooking a brook. The room was peaceful, tastefully decorated and very clean with a nice kitchenette area with small fridge, microwave, sink and double hob. Bed was comfy too. The hot tub area was indoors and was extremely well thought out with a shower and dressing area as well as LED ceiling lights and Bluetooth speaker system. Would highly recommend.

We were working in the area. We stayed at one of James’ Nordic lodges. Made the working away from home a more pleasant experience. An excellent stay. Thank you James

Absolutely amazing stay! The lodge is beautiful and you have everything you could need and more! The lodge was spotlessly clean! The views were incredible and the hot tub was fantastic! Enjoyed every minute, can’t wait to go back!

Really lovely overnight stay and the host was great with instructions and information. Only small issue was a bit of noise from the neighbours and a slightly strange smell nearby but that wasn’t anything to do with the host or cabin itself. Would love to stay again!

Family break with 6 adults and 2 children (3&7). Due to the previous guests and new cleaners there were a few issues on arrival - but Mandy sorted all of these straight away with no problem. The accommodation and location were perfect for our day out to Stockeld Park - which I can't recommend enough - what a great place! The hot tub was lovely. We would book again if we were to go to Stockeld Park again. Thank you Mandy

The most gorgeous few days away at this lovely lodge. Everything was peaceful and easy to find and figure out. Unfortunately the wifi wasn’t working too well to begin with however this soon started working after Liam came and fixed it for us and even bought us chocolates for the inconvenience. Neither of us wanted to leave today and hopefully we’ll be back soon, everything was perfect

The lodge is lovely with an amazing view over the lake, we sat in the hot tub watching the birds on the lake it was so peaceful. Great place to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with our family and dog. Immaculate home with a real homely feel. Great kitchen to cook in too.

Rocco’s Lodge is located in the Heritage Park part of Bridlington Links, which is a more exclusive area of 30 or so wooden, extremely spacious lodges, with its own entrance and consequently less traffic. The lodge itself is at the top of a quiet cul de sac with access to Sewerby Hall seconds away and the sea itself minutes away. The lodge had very comfortable sofas and the best bed ever, makes a difference when you get a good night’s sleep - it had everything we needed for a lovely stay. It has the bonus of a massive decking area with two sets of seating plus a privacy screen running along the end of it. I think it is the only lodge that offers this and it is a massive selling point as it makes sitting on the decking more relaxing and private. The decking area is secure which is ideal if you have kids/dogs. It’s location is ideal for Bridlington, you can walk from the Lodge to North Bridlington quite easily, with beautiful scenic sea views, good location for visiting other areas.

Mill Pond Lodge was a gorgeous place to stay. our son loved feeding the ducks. The lodge had everything that we needed and was immaculate. Ruth was great, we were arriving late so she sent us really detailed directions to the lodge. I would highly recommend a stay it, it was a great base for exploring.

We had a wonderful time. Great area, lovely lodge, excellent host. A huge advantage of it to me was it's dog friendly. I will definitely book this again.

I booked very last minute for the dog friendly pod. I was greeted without even having to get out of my car and was shown where my home for the night was by the most welcoming lady. It's always a bit nerve wracking going away on your own but I felt safe there and it was so peaceful. I was also invited to join others for a Chinese and entertainment that evening which I appreciated the offer of. Such a safe, friendly, peaceful place with just the sounds of birds singing all around, thank you

We enjoyed our stay - very peaceful and the place is 10/10⭐️ same as described and whats on ad. The staff are also friendly and they are responsive to our question even if its already late in the evening. Can’t wait to go back ❤️❤️❤️ I highly recommend this place!

Was a great place for our dogs , lovely river walk . House was nice & warm on arrival . We were staying in order to visit elderly relatives in Beverley so was just the right distance away . Will be back & try to stay a bit longer to explore area & coast.

Vanessa was very friendly gave clear and detailed directions to get to the property and instructions to get inside. the property was immaculate and felt so homely and comfortable. little touches are made to make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend staying at Vanessa's place we can't wait to stay again

Amazing place. Perfectly matched the photos, incredibly clean. It was so immaculate it was almost as if no one had ever visited before but at the same time it's so homely! Hot tub was clean and private and the back is completely enclosed if you have young kids or dogs. Bed was super comfy. Check in was really easy due to clear instructions and friendly staff. Host really proactive on messages and gave local food recommendations. 30 mins from York city centre and 1hr 20mins from North East coast. Can't wait to come back soon! :)

We had a great couple of nights at the Elder Cabin. Cosy space to chill with added bonus of the hot tub. Easy to get to the centre of York for daytime activities and then again in the evening via local taxis.

Loved our stay in the cabin. The hot tub was a great extra and definitely worth the additional cost. Rebecca was a great host and made sure we were topped up with enough wood to keep the hot tub at the right temperature throughout our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. The garden was secure so our dogs could roam while we relaxed in the hot tub. Would love to visit again.

perfect just perfect . this place is an absolute gem we arrived on Friday evening the cabin was lovely and cosy with fire going snd soft music playing there was even a little something nice left in the fridge for us. the place was immaculately vlean and tidy .Duncan was extremely helpful with directions to his place and with his recommendations for eating out. we will definitely be returning sometime in the summer .

We have just spent a weekend here as a group of 4 to celebrate birthdays! Lovely place, lodge very clean and tidy. Modern fixtures etc. Louise the host is great, she was always very responsive and we were able to check in a few hours early. We asked for some birthday balloons which was done with banners. Nothing was touch trouble! Would highly recommend. 20 mins away from York city centre, 5 mins from Pocklington. We also travelled to Whitby for the day which was only an hour away! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We stayed here as a part of my partners birthday celebrations. This was our first time staying somewhere like this and the lodge was everything we could have wished for and more!! The check-in process was clear and easy. The lodge was well decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect, so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an obvious stand out for us, very warm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we could not fault our lodge and are already discussing coming back later in the year! We have also recommended to our families who are also interested.
