This place was absolutely stunning, the peacefulness, the surroundings were beautiful, waking up to wild cows and horses, seeing the little fishing boats go out was lovely. The host was super friendly. Yes this place is only accessible by water, however if you want to go out every day you will have to row in a kayak provided to you by the host to where you park your car. This takes about 30-45 minutes to do depending on your stamina, strength and rowing ability. When you are done for the day you have to row against the current for another 30-45 minutes to get back to the Airbnb. You will have to make sure you park your car before sunset otherwise you’ll be rowing in the dark so you can’t really stay out late. Honestly the novelty of rowing wore off over the week we stayed, it was fun to start with but we were knackered by the end of each kayaking session. The place itself was well equipped, fully stocked fridge. The drainage in the wet room wasn’t very good so got smelly after use.

Atypical houses. Lot of possibilities for quiet journey. Excellent contact with the owners living nearby.

We were with friends for a one-night stay. But we had time to enjoy the beauty of the view around us, the beautiful lake and the marvellous sunset. It was very nice to sit on the terrace with the grill, having a relaxed conversation and watching the sunset. Great home, everything you need for human convenience is there. We also visited the fishing village across the lake. Quite an interesting place, but want to shake up the natives as the potential is more than being used. Yeah, it's easy to talk on the sofa :) In short, the place is great, I recommend it.

Jelica and her family were very welcoming, it was a great experience that I could stay at this family house. The apartment is situated up the hill along the famous self-drive route P16, which offers nice lake scenic views. The fish I had in the host family restaurant was one of the best, fresh eel and trout caught on the day, simply fried and served with grilled veg, cheese and home made wine. Beautiful stay and great host.

There is a heater in the apartment, which made us happy. The bed is comfortable. The apartment is very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The biggest room in the apartment is the living room. This is where we watched youtube on tv in the evening. We were very pleased. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay over the Christmas period after travelling in our camper for the last 7 months this was a nice reset for us. The house was as described the host was responsive, we were met by his Mum and sister who were very friendly and accommodating. His Mum even bought us over some burek which was delicious. Just a couple of small points, there didn’t seem to be a dryer as stated in the amenities listing, and we couldn’t seem to get the hot water to work in the kitchen (not sure if it was something we were doing or not). Other than that a lovely stay. Thanks

Out of the 4 stays we had on our 9 day trip in Montenegro, our time that we’ve spent in Skadar was the best by far. The location was absolutely stunning. The accommodations are what you pay for. It’s clean and all there, it’s not the newest, but everything works perfectly. The factor which made it magical was the love, commitment, effort the hosts (mom and dad, brother and sister) put into it, to make our stay as perfect as it can be. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in Montenegro. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Es gibt sogar Pooltücher und Bademäntel. Die Küche ist recht klein, es gibt nur zwei Kochfelder, ist aber ansonsten gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt war die Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und abgeschieden, es gibt eine große Terrasse und einen tollen Pool. Sladjana gibt tolle Tipps und die Bootstour bei ihr hat sich sehr gelohnt! Bis zum nächsten Strand braucht man etwa 30 min, allgemein wird ein Auto gebraucht für Unternehmungen etc. Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt es im Ort.

Our stay at Paradise Lake House was nothing short of amazing! The property was impeccably clean—so spotless that I felt comfortable walking barefoot, which I rarely do in accommodations. Every corner is squeaky clean, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Location was the perfect place to relax, offering quiet and serene surroundings by the lake, yet still conveniently close to excellent local restaurants. The self-check-in process was smooth and easy, making our arrival hassle-free. We appreciated how everything was clearly explained, allowing us to settle in quickly. A big highlight was Danilo, the property owner. He was incredibly responsive and always available to assist with any questions or offer recommendations for local spots. His attentiveness really made our stay extra special. For anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful retreat with a great location and a helpful host, Paradise Lake House is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
