We had a wonderful stay. Maree and Charlee were great hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house was amazing. Views, location and plenty of space to relax and enjoy Straddie. Will definitely recommend to others and would love to come back.

An awesome stay. The home was in immaculate shape and the view was just amazing. Paula was also very helpful and responded promptly to each of my messages. Would 100% recommend.

We rented the apartment for just over a month, and it met all our needs. In fact, we were very comfortable. It is located close to the local amenities, the marina and the train station, and so is very convenient to meet a variety of needs. Adam was very friendly and willing to help.

Truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a rest. This included our dog, who enjoy the outside area and pondering across the water view. Caught up on some book reading, and local events. Will be a place to return to, perfect for a small family, 2 couples on a catchup, or just 2 adults and dog needing a great place to rest and enjoy the surroundings

Repeat booking, this is our go to place in Manly, great location, close to amenities and restaurants & marinas. Ruth is a great host with a fully stocked kitchen ready to go which is always appreciated and full amenities for those longer stays.

Nice and clean place

We had a WONDERFUL stay. We were dog people, so great to be able to take our hound with us. With a fully enclosed yard A very homey property, we had a great mix of time exploring the island and naps on the couch. And opting to both head out for dinner and staying in to cook ourselves in the very well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend, we will be back! Thank you Patricia

The house was so lovely and the views were amazing. With a balcony upstairs and one downstairs we could always see the water. The rooms were a great size. The entire house felt so comfortable. If you were looking at somewhere to stay on Russell Island, this would be amazing. So relaxing! Thankyou Patsy! Regards Harry and Julie

Lamb Island is a great place to relax and get away from it all. Once on Lamb you can hop via the ferry to any of the other islands where there are more shops, clubs etc. at no cost. Interestingly, when you are well located on Lamb, you are closer to the facilities on the other islands via the ferry terminals where facilities are located than if further out on the other islands. This place can be described as rustic. If you like rustic its great, for those seeking pristine modern, perhaps other options could be considered. The Duck provides an interesting distraction and the locals are super friendly - even more so than any of the other islands. The Rec Club is very good and the meals as good as anywhere and better than many at good prices with a very relaxing atmosphere and great service from the bar. There are various launching sites for Kayak and it is a great place for paddling and boating in general. In the end we liked Lamb Island so much that we are considering buying some land there.

A great private place to stay. Barbara was always responsive and helpfully made adjustments when required when issues my end arised.

Our second time at the Kingfisher cottage was better than the first. We loved the homey feel, being able to sit on both front and back porches to listen to the chatty rainbow lorikeets, and the secure fencing and gates that meant our pups could explore the garden on their own. Its so close to the ferry, which means we waited for the trip back from the front porch while our dogs could have a final sniff, instead of being cooped up in the car waiting at the dock. Coochimudlow is a small island, but has lots of beaches to discover. We enjoyed coffee, cake and meals at the local restaurants, just a short 5min walk away. We really appreciated the comfy couches, the stable wifi and the clean bathroom and kitchen of the house. Hoping to be back for our third visit some time in the future.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

Megan is awesome! There was lot’s of toys for our daughter and we jumped on the trampoline everyday, swam, and enjoyed the hot tub.

I loved this place—it was even more beautiful than the photos! Woolworths was just a 4-minute drive away, and the kitchen was fully equipped, even with lunch containers. Heidi was a welcoming and thoughtful host, and her dogs were great. It’s clear she put a lot of effort into making this place comfortable and nice. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Heidi’s was awesome, the unit was nice and clean, well stocked with all the essentials. We were able to cook our own meals and there was access to a washing machine if we needed. We spent half the day by the pool and felt right at home. Heidi was lovely and their dogs were friendly.

We had an awesome stay here. The place has everything you need. It is close to the water and local shops. Would definitely recommend staying here.
