Poipu Beach : chambres d'hôtel

What a fantastic home to stay at in Poipu! The unit was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. Being on the third floor gave us a beautiful view of the ocean (it's CLOSER than it appears in the pictures!) and was walkable to all that Kiahuna had to offer as well as to the Poipu Athletic Club. Our host was very responsive before and during our stay. The portable AC units cooled the unit during the day and then we only ran the ceiling fan and standing fan for sleep. Note that the windows are screened with luvered shutters but not glass. All units at Kiahuna Plantation are built this way - such a nice way to get fresh air without bugs! If you're a taller person prepare for the bathroom to be shorter than what you're probably used to. Besides that, we had plenty of linens & paper goods, as well as cooking utensils, Tupperware, and cooler bags for the beach. Also, check out was just like a hotel - just grab your things & go! We would recommend and stay again.

The Westin was great! Gorgeous place with friendly staff. And Tony was super prompt in communicating with us and making the reservation!

Watching from lanai saw Humpback whales, what a treat. The place was nice. Sanford was extremely helpful. The building could have some updating (cracked roof shingles, outside walls...) but overall nice stay.

This resort has a wonderful location. The place was very roomy and comfortable. Everything that we needed was available in the kitchen. The fourth floor allowed an excellent view of the inside of the resort and the ocean. Visitors to Hawaii are reminded to make reservations well Ahead of the time for special things they wish to do.

We loved this place and would have stayed the whole time if it wasn’t booked! The ocean views are magical and we enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi! The kitchen had adorable little additions like tiny spice packets and laundry soap. We thought this was a really wonderful spot! Centrally locates and you can hear the waves as you sleep.

We had a wonderful time at Kelly’s place. The grounds are beautiful and had lots of fun stuff for my son. Happy hour at the bar downstairs is great for food also before you worry about a microwave, there is one on the fifth floor only two floors up from you open to the public! We used it several times. Kelly is a great communicator and helped us out in anyway she could.

Best deal on the island. Central to the island and the most inexpensive Airbnb I could find. The space is older, but in good condition. Short walk to the beach.

This place is a true gem! The resort had so many amenities, some we were still discovering on our final day of our trip. I highly recommend staying at Mick’s place if you’re looking for a central location on the island. The drive is approximately 1h15m to north shore & the west side. Highlights of this property were the pool/hot tubs, close proximity to the airport (shuttle to/from available), on-site restaurants & shops. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Central area to stay and use as a home base. We traveled both to the north and south of the island so this made it easy. Marriotts are always nice to stay in. This was not one of my favorite resorts. It’s definitely older but still nice. We didn’t spend too much time in our room but it was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable for a Murphy bed. Mick was very responsive and went out of his way to get us an ocean view at the last minute.

Everything about this room was great! Loved the location, view, and excellent customer service. We were traveling with our baby and were supplied with a pack n play and diaper genie which made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Our oceanview suite was spacious and had an amazing view! I loved the layout, with good sized kitchen, plenty of counter space, and enough dishes and utensils to make simple meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also a decent size. Plenty of room for four adults. Furniture and appliances were a little dated, but fully functional. Beds were comfortable. The unit was clean.

Amazing stay at this location, the staff was incredibly helpful, the surroundings are gorgeous, and there was so much to do around Kauai.

I recently stayed at this hotel/resort and absolutely loved the pool and beach area! The pool and jacuzzi were clean and inviting, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The beach area was well-maintained and offered stunning views of the ocean. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal to explore out in either direction from Lihue whether heading out towards Hanalei out near Na’Pali or the opposite towards Waimea Canyon. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and centralized location. Kiyo is the best bartender there (pool bar by restrooms).

This was an awesome Air bnb. From when I first booked to checking out. Waking up to a stunning ocean view. Place was large with extra bedroom, full kitchen and everything we needed. Close enough to shops and eateries. Communication was great and supper friendly correspondance. Will definatly book again with luxary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The report was absolutely stunning and the location was perfect. We totally lucked out with our room location. We had room 8103 which was ground floor and located on the far east side of the development and was on a little courtyard so it was private but we could be on the beach in less than a minute. The pools were very full but that was because we were there the busiest week of the year. We will definitely be staying here again!

Property was exactly as described. It’s an amazing price for all the amenities that were included without the extra resort fees. The private beach was our favorite spot to hangout. (Thanks to the beach chairs that were included) The beach side bar was a plus and all restaurants on site were perfect. It is more secluded, but everything is within a few min drive. The value this resort brings is amazing. Would recommend for a relaxing vacation but the option to explore both the north and south shores if you’d like.

Just an epic stay at Jason’s place on Kauai. Location can’t be beat. I appreciate Jason personally providing the best weather possible too. Everything was as described. Easiest host I have worked with for vacation rentals.
