This airbnb was so cute! It was about a 10 minute walk to Poipu Beach and a quick walk to restaurants/beach bars that lined the beach. We saw several seals and 23 turtles one sunrise. We loved eating at Living Foods (great outdoor bar), Eating House 1849 (up scale), and Brennecks (beachy). A beach chair accidentally broke on us and Jim was great about resolving the issue. The record player was an added bonus for us! Most of the time it was quiet, but there were times that you could hear people or the chickens, but not too big of a deal. I would definitely stay again because we didn't stay long enough this time.

Absolutely the best location to base yourself to see all places on the island! Stunning ocean views with a great walking path right outside front, and shops and restaurants just as close. Very well appointed unit with everything you need for your stay. Huma and her local contact were a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and quickly resolved the one small issue that came up.

My family was so stoked about the place! Quiet, spacious, amazing accommodations.. We would 100% come back.

Just an amazing location!! The place was super clean and very comfortable. Sitting on the back patio with the new furniture listening to the waves and looking out on the ocean was incredible!! Can’t imagine a better location. We could hear the waves from everywhere in the condo and falling asleep to the waves was fantastic! Roz was a great host and provided tons of local recommendations and was always very prompt getting back to us if we had any questions. We’ll definitely be back!!

We loved this place. This is 1 1/2 stories up from sidewalk and is a 3 story unit with main living on 1st floor, two masters on 2nd floor, and a third bedroom on 3rd floor loft. The unit has a good cross breeze, but when the wind was too strong it would shake ceiling fans and could knock art off the walls. This made it more challenge to keep it cool inside without ac on the 1st and 2nd floor. Kitchen was well stocked. It was close to the parking area which was nice for coming and going. There is no parking pass required even though signs on property say one is needed. We enjoyed the pool every evening and seldom saw anyone else there. Pool was nice sized and there were 6 pool towels available. Nice sunset viewing area on property too. I wish there was more beach gear-only had canvas camping chairs that were too tall for umbrella use. Recommend checking out Riptide Shaved Ice, Brenecke’s for lunch or dinner, and Kauai Outfitters Kipu Zipline Safari (kayak,hike,zip,lunch,waterhole)

Excellent location with views of whales and sea turtles daily off our lanai. Less crowded area than the Poipu Beach area. Condo was in excellent condition.

We had a wonderful stay at Egidio's condo. Hands down, this is the cleanest and most well stocked Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Everything in the condo from the appliances, towels, linens, dishes and cookware was of high quality and worked well. The furniture and bed were comfy. The condo has been nicely remodeled and the view is fabulous. It was fun to sit on the deck and watch the surfers. We enjoyed the pool (sometimes we were the only ones using it!) and the proximity to the Ke Ala Hele Makalae trail for our daily walks. It was also close to restaurants, grocery stores and Lydgate park for a safe swim in the ocean. It was easy to get to Poipu and Princeville, both only about a 30 minute drive away. It doesn't get more perfect than this! Would highly recommend and will book again if it is available on our next Kauai trip.

Bryant and Jane’s place was perfect! The coconut market is right there with shops and lots of restaurants. The location is right off the main highway that takes you most anywhere you want to go. The beach outside the room is so peaceful and the hot tub and pool are right there as well. We saw whales on several occasions which was a dream come true!

Our family of six had a fantastic stay. The place was great. Beds were comfy. The unit had everything we needed. Furniture all nice and new. Kitchen was well-equipped. Beautiful view out the window toward the nearby beach two minute walk away. Great spot to explore the island from. We’d definitely stay here again!

Michael and Sue were awesome hosts and their detached Ohana was perfect for me and my partner for a week’s stay. Their Ohana is well-appointed with a washer-dryer, a pristine bathroom with a wonderful shower, a huge kitchen sink, and lots of extras like beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear for our adventures. Also, the hosts provided complimentary coffee, juices, fruit and snacks that lasted our entire stay. The Ohana is a short walk from the beach and several eateries. Our fave eateries were Little Fish Coffee, Living Foods and the Poipu Poke Shack. Our fave adventures were the Koala Zipline, Ha’ena Beach Park, Hiking Waimea Canyon, and seeing the Na’ Pali Coast via a Zodiac rafting tour operated by Na’Pali Riders. You can’t go wrong with Michael and Sue’s place if you are no larger than a party of two adults. Highly recommend!! We are already planning our return visit. Mahalo!!

Amazing doesn’t describe our stay! We came from AK and WI for a double anniversary trip and this place did NOT disappoint. We even had a baby and toddler who enjoyed everything. We were allowed to check in an hour and a half early after a long night of flying. Didn’t think the house would have any beach equipment and then we found the treasure trove of beach supplies in a room closet! The only hiccup was a minor door lock code issue mid stay, which Monica and Rohit were extremely responsive to fix for us via text. All in all….we are already planning our next stay!

Steve's Poipu home is simply amazing. It's one of the best beach locations I've ever stayed in. A quick walk gets you to a perfect boogie boarding beach and a beach where the turtles sleep every night. We also saw lots of whales, monk seals, and pods of dolphins! A great sit down restaurant, deli, and Puka Dog are almost next door, along with a surf shop to rent equipment and do a little shopping. I can't recommend Steve's place enough!

Great location and views were fabulous. We loved hearing the sounds of the ocean and the deck was great for morning coffee, whale watching and fantastic sunsets. This is an older complex and a few items could use some updates, but location and views can't be beat.

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

This property and house was perfect for our family. The backyard had a large tree for climbing with a swing! It provided hours of entertainment. The beach, view and location was peaceful and secluded. The layout was great. The beds were comfortable. The hot water was endless and pressure was amazing. We could stay there for a month. Our 11, 8, 5 yo kids swam in the ocean, played in the sand and discovered marine life along the beach and the river. The location was half way between the airport and princeville which was nice. The property management company was quick to provide restaurant recommendations and answer any questions. We were very happy with their service. We will be back!

This was a very nice condo at a great value. It’s located in the harbor on the shoreline. We were able to watch cruise ships and other boating vessels come in and out. Nice sunset view! Great food nearby within walking. Golf course also within walking distance.

Quite condo with what felt like a private beach area. Plenty of cooking supplies although no spices or oil so bring your own. Bed was very comfy, nice to have ac.

Incredible spot for a family location. We were able to watch our kids swimming in the pool from our own lanai, and saw a whale breaching one night while sitting out eating dinner. I truly think there is no better location in Kapa'a - right on the beach but quiet and secluded. We loved being close to the Kauai Shared-Use Path (Ke Ala Hele Makalae) which we ran on every morning at sunrise. Having the Safeway/ABC Store/Wailua Shave Ice only a 5 minute walk away was fantastic! The condo and surrounding building is clean and well-maintained. The pool is cleaned every morning. The kids enjoyed playing ping-pong in the common area while we used the Barbecues. We would definitely stay here again! The only downside was that the beach is not swimmable due to the reef - but it was just a 6-minute drive to Lydgate beach for swimming and snorkeling.

The location was exceptional and all of the amenities made the stay very enjoyable. The toy box was particularly helpful for outside activities (beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach pads, umbrellas and more) that people flying would be forced to buy or rent if they hadn't been provided. The hosts provided everything we needed. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and it was tastefully decorated. They also left a binder containing information about the condo and the surrounding area which we found to be most helpful. The recreational facilities provided were very nice, and the view of the ocean was amazing!

All of these reviews you're reading are well deserved... this place is in a perfect location, just a bit removed from Poipu and the crowds at the resorts. If that's what you're after, it's an easy 4 minute drive or 20 min walk, but nice to be able to walk back to this condo for the more quiet atmosphere. There were plenty of turtles to see cruising the shallow bay right off the lanai, Whales could be seen further out if you spent a few minutes looking. The constant crashing of the waves put us to sleep every night No need for air conditioning, the temperature was perfect. All furnishings were comfortable and clean, everything was immaculate upon arrival. We had a few questions and hosts were quick to respond. Nothing but praise for these folks and the property. 2 Local food recommendations For vegetarian / vegan / plant based - "That Indian Place" and "Anatta's" Thai food truck, both within walking distance.

This place was so amazing! The view was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and did see some sea turtles and a few whales further in the distance. Loved the decor and furnishings. If we came back we would want to book this again.

Fantastic Beachfront unit. Private back patio, only 1 removed from the end. Walk down to the beach from your living room, and watch the sunrise from your back patio. Kitchen is fully equipment and the grounds are impeccable. Stunning space for some R&R or family gatherings!
