The BEST AirBnb that we have ever stayed in and we use AirBnb quite often. We loved watching the sunrise from the daybed and drinking cocktails, eating sushi from The Dolphin, and watching whales from the back deck. Very clean, comfortable, and great customer service. Very close to the 8 mile, horrible, but beautiful hike to Hanakapi’ai Falls. It was an unbelievable honeymoon! I hope to be back in a few years!!!

Steve's Poipu home is simply amazing. It's one of the best beach locations I've ever stayed in. A quick walk gets you to a perfect boogie boarding beach and a beach where the turtles sleep every night. We also saw lots of whales, monk seals, and pods of dolphins! A great sit down restaurant, deli, and Puka Dog are almost next door, along with a surf shop to rent equipment and do a little shopping. I can't recommend Steve's place enough!

This is hands down one of the most beautiful places. The room was super spacious, way more than the pictures show, the view is just incredible even better than pictures can do justice! The room is a bit of a walk if you don’t get a golf cart ride, but well worth it for the views. Parking gets full rather quickly, but the resort and valet staff take care of it. Overall very happy with the place and would definitely rebook if (hopefully) when I’m back to Princeville!

If you’re traveling to Kauai and wanting to stay in North Shore area I would definitely recommend staying with Evans. Staying at his place truly felt like I was at home with company that I have known forever. Evans and his roommate were so personable and easy to get along with! They are the kind of humans who make traveling so special! As a solo female traveler here I felt comfortable and welcomed and hope to go back soon :)

A dream! Our family had a marvelous time here. You cannot beat the location and view. Easy to get down to the beach and enjoy snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing as it’s never very busy in the bay. We spent a ton of time just sitting out in the gazebo looking over the bay. The beach gear provided also came in extremely handy. Kauai in general is just a beautiful island that we immensely enjoyed. We loved being out of the main towns just enough to feel privacy but close enough to get there in no time. Thank you so much!

I was really pleased with Cari's willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate a couple of special requests we had. She could have just said no, but she helped make it work. Thank you. The place is really nice. I especially liked that the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. And also lots of nice beach toys. Great place. I would happily come back again.

Beautiful home! Enjoyed the oceanfront views- whales, turtles and dolphins. Great place to unwind. Far enough away from the crowds but still close to everything. Home has everything you need, beach chairs/toys, kitchen essentials and spotless! Very proactive and responsive host. Highly recommend this condo to all!.

This home was beautiful and was located right on the beach. Being able to watch the sunrise on the balcony every morning was amazing. The home was equipped with tons of beach stuff. It was great not having to go rent beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The location was perfect for us. Centrally located on the island so north and south shore were easy drives. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thanks Conrad!

Wonderful stay ! We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and several lounging areas. It was very quiet . We saw whales breaching in the distance and albatross flying by. It’s mating season and 4 albatross (and baby) were directly across from the house- they put on quite a show! Very fun to watch. We took many walks and loved the location. We hope to return!

We had a lovely week in Princeville! Loved being able to have breakfast with birdsong and a beautiful view on the patio. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking/baking, which was great for us, and they had a cooler/beach towels/beach chairs that we used every day for beach adventures. Appreciate the thoughtfulness of the setup and how clean and organized the space was.

This place was so amazing! The view was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and did see some sea turtles and a few whales further in the distance. Loved the decor and furnishings. If we came back we would want to book this again.

Michelle's place is in a perfect location near the airport and in between Hanalei to the North and Waimea to the Southwest. Walkable to the local Safeway and several restaurants and food trucks. We especially loved hearing the ocean waves 24/7 and watching the sunrise from the balcony every morning. The amenities, including the Washer/Dryer, are topnotch so don't be afraid to pack light. Michelle was easy to contact and very friendly. Would absolutely book again.

Christopher’s home was perfect for our group of 8! The location was perfect and had such a nice beach that was walking distance. Christopher was also very responsive and helped us when we needed anything or had questions. Would definitely recommend staying and would love to come back!!

Throughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful accommodations, fully stocked kitchen & unit! (needs tongs & a potato peeler though!) The pool was peaceful and beach just a quick walk away. The blinds let in a lot of light, so if you need to nap a baby- it’s very challenging. There is so much space here & the patio is amazing. Lots of comfortable furniture. Highly recommend!

Great location with super easy beach access. We had a monk seal sleeping on the beach the first morning, which was a good omen I suppose. Home is well appointed with everything we needed and more to enjoy our family vacation. The North coals location is very relaxing, so if you’re looking for more action / activities consider the East or South. No air conditioning but plenty of ceiling fans and excellent cross ventilation with the doors and windows open. Overall a great place to stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage. This place exceeded our expectations as the property is located footsteps with plenty of privacy. The location is minutes away from the local shops and a national state park. The amenities are top notch. The views from the windows are spectacular. This rating deserves a 10 plus rating…we will be back! Thank you Kristina and Steven for being wonderful hosts!

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this condo. We have stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort in the past and enjoy the natural beauty and location of the complex itself. This lower level unit has amazing views, a great lanai, and is furnished with almost all the things you would hope to have. A boogie board would have been an added bonus. The only thing I think others may want to know before renting this unit is that there is a door that passes through to another unit next door. The door was closed for our stay, but we could hear the neighbors comings and goings and conversations very clearly. Fortunately, during our stay, the neighbors were considerate of this and it wasn't much of an issue. Overall I would highly consider renting this unit again.

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

David was very prompt in his responses and his condo was pristine and very clean! It was very neatly maintained and our stay was very comfortable! Best part of our stay was to enjoy family family early morning sitting outside and enjoy the beach waves and beautiful view! The condo is also located next to Coconut market places and local shopping areas so all the eating joints and restaurants, safeway are within walking reach! I really love my stay at Davids place and would definitely come here again ......

We LOVED this place and our young kids did, too! It felt welcoming and relaxing. Everything was clean and we had all the things we could need in a place to stay. It was so nice hearing the waves 24/7. The A/C was perfect after a long day in the sun. A 20 sec walk to the big lawn area where the kids could run and get some energy out later in the evening. Hosts were super kind to check in when we arrived! We would love to come back again!!

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

We had a very enjoyable stay and loved staying at Taejo's place. And appreciate host/owner's response to updating photos for the view and living room.
