The accommodation is just as amazing as all the photos suggest. Main spaces are large, yet still cozy and offer a great place to hangout after whatever Himalayan activities you have accomplished that day. The other thing to note is just how helpful the host family was. They always provide fast and helpful responses through the chat platform. On check-in day our flight into Pokhara had been delayed indefinitely due to bad weather and they were still able to pick us up late at night charging only a tiny delay fee (500 nepal rupees). Unfortunately our stay only amounted to less than 12 hours, but I will definitely be returning to this accommodation on any return visits to Pokhara.

I had the best, most relaxing, time at Mahakuruna! I was doing a mix of working, hiking, relaxation. The place has a very nice construction, is tastefully decorated, and has nice additions like a wood fire and bath for if it gets a bit chilly. The view from the front door is also spectacular. Honestly, something that made the trip super simple and really elevated it was using Arun there (probably the only airbnb that comes with a chef 😆). All of the meals he cooked were both very healthy and delicious. I enjoyed every one. Walking down into the valley via all the villages was great. I would also recommend the hike up to Pitam Deurali that takes about 4hrs round trip. Add on Australian base camp too if you want to hike a bit longer, but be sure to take the route avoiding Pothana though, as there is a permit checkpoint there. I'm by no means advocating to skip getting a permit - if you wish to hike further afield, definitely get one! (from KTM or Pokhara in advance)

Amazing stay with an amazing host. The place is exactly how it looks like in the pictures. Such a beautiful view and the best part is the privacy of the place. Sabina and Sanjay are the best hosts till date. They’re right there whenever you need them. Also helping with suggestions around to explore. The place has both Lake view and Snow Mountain View on the back. Personally this is one of the best properties we found in Pokhara :) Loved it. And will love to be back soooon 🤍

Situated at a peaceful place overlooking the beautiful Phewa Lake. Kushal‘s family is really beautiful and helpful. They made sure my baby had his night milk, even though we returned really late to their place. The room was clean, there is a sitting area outside room where you can see Phew Lake Sahab Neeti or Shayad Roti khadi chawl pura and enjoy your food. We had breakfast and it was delicious. I would love to visit here again in my next trip to Pokhra.

Such a wonderful place to stay in Pokhara! great to have the kitchen and ability to cook breakfast. The hosts were always so friendly and I really love staying in a more local area away from all the heavy tourist areas of Pokhara. The restaurant next door was really nice. couldn't fault this place, so comfortable and relaxed and close to nature. super bright during the day and a nice place to hang out in down time. highly recommended would stay here again without a doubt when returning

We 5 of us friends stayed here for almost 4 days, beautiful place and we could see ranges in the morning when the weather was clear. Rooms were clean, well maintained, food was amazing. Only thing we want to improve them to provide more clean towels and hot water shower on the ground floor was not working properly. Anamika and Pramod were great hosts, we did river rafting, Poon hill Trek, hot air balloon and all these activities were arranged by them, they suggested us the lakeside places. Transport was arranged as an when required, really thankful to them. Because of them our vacation was stress free and more enjoyable. Already have recommended this place to my friends and would definitely like to meet you whenever you are in Mumbai.
