Comfortable, full of character and style. A very comfortable base in a great location - easily walkable to old Hastings and its amenities as well as Hastings and the shopping centre/train station. Great local recommendations and very clear instructions. A perfect base.

Wow! We have stayed at enough places to know how great this experience truly was. All of the little extra touches absolutely made this our favorite home we have stayed in. Ever. The location is fantastic and close to everything you may need. This was our final stay in a week long visit to the UK to celebrate my son’s graduation and I couldn’t be happier with how we wrapped it up. Thank you Sarah! If we ever return to Brighton (which is such a lovely area) we will absolutely stay here again!

Whether you’re planning a funfilled time or relaxing break away, I can honestly confirm that Siobhan’s place is the perfect place to stay. All that is advertised was found to be accurate, detailed guide provided useful information about the house and outside in the community.

This was such a lovely stay! The whole family went to Brighton for the half marathon and this place did not disappoint. Not only was it so clean and beautiful, it was right by the seafront and the start line. A convenient location with lots of amazing pubs nearby. Xavier was very welcoming and met us at the house, he was a very Friendly accommodating to our needs. Also gave lovely recommendations for pubs and food. Would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend staying at ‘Marge’—it’s a fantastic little house and even nicer than we expected! Charlie and Rich clearly take hosting very seriously. The number of thoughtful touches was truly special and greatly appreciated—a lovely bottle of champagne in the fridge for us and a choice of three bed sizes and treats for our dog! The facilities for our five-month-old baby were also excellent, including a beautiful cot and a convenient changing table.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Amber’s apartment. Communication prior to and during the stay was great. The apartment itself was clean and ideally located. Having access to the pool and gym at the hotel below was a fantastic perk. We did unfortunately have to request some of the stated amenities during our stay. It would also be a nice touch if there was some furniture on the balcony to be able to enjoy the view. But other than that, we had a great stay!

We loved this caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have needed for our family weekend away. The beach is just a few steps away and we enjoyed a walk to the harbour. Even spotted a seal in the sea. The site was very quiet and peaceful and is tucked right away from the main road. Jenny was a very responsive host who answered all our questions immediately. The minute we walked in it felt welcoming and homely, there were great added extras like board games which the kids loved, towels and extra bedding and blankets to curl up on the couch with. This is a prime location not only on site right next to the arcade and shops, but not where you get disturbed with noise, but also amazing location to travel to all the sight seeing opportunities in the local area. Everything was was really easy to get to and ensured we had an amazing time exploring without worrying about extra travel. Both hosts were fantastic with responding and being contactable and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great value for money place to stay in a great location! No need to look anywhere else if you're staying in Brighton area. An outstanding, well kept, well maintained, property with all amenities and creature comforts to make your stay away from home feel just like home and some! Daniel is a superb host and can teach a lot of other Airbnb owners about organisation and guest management! Pre-visit information provided was clear and detailed. All communication pre, during and post was proactive, friendly and helpful. Daniel is a very thoughtful host making sure that everything in the property is clearly explained with helpful notes dotted around to make life easy and enjoyable. All creature comforts are provided and that little extra touch of a 'real' welcome basket with all essentials you need - fruit, milk, etc and some non-essentials but oh so holiday important - chocolate and crisps :) A long weekend felt like a much longer relaxing holiday. Can't recommend the property or Daniel enough.

Perfect location right opposite the beach. A few miles from Dungeness, close to Camber and Rye. Plenty of room for kids, teens, adults and dogs! Brilliantly equipped kitchen - pretty much anything you could need. We laughed that there wasn’t a pestle and mortar and then found one! Felt very homely. There was an issue with the shower and Jo responded super quickly and had an emergency plumber out on NYE to fix it. All in all a great place, highly recommended. Thanks Jo for an awesome NY stay. And thanks for super generous welcome hamper.

2 night stay - couldn’t recommend highly enough. The location is not only beautiful but perfectly placed too. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean & somewhere you’d be proud to call home. The bed is one of the comfiest we have ever slept in & Carla was so helpful with local recommendations. We will 100% be returning.

Zainab and Ciara were both really responsive and friendly. The property was nicely decorated and spacious. Only thing I would mention is that if the Dentist is open, you can hear a lot of what’s going on upstairs, but we stayed on Fri-Sun so as soon as the dentist closed it was very nice and quiet.

Beautiful house which opens up right onto the beach. The outside area is great and the view from the house are amazing. Really nice house inside as well.

Nice house with a very well equipped kitchen (the best we've had in the Eastbourne area). Also very comfortable beds and loads of space. The layout of the house means that the dining room is one floor above the kitchen (although there is an outdoor dining table right behind the kitchen if the weather is warm and dry enough) which is a bit strange, but we mostly ate out so this wasn't a big issue for us (Thai Marina in Sovereign harbour is highly recommended as is Raipur in Pevensey Bay). If you have the windows open at night there is occasional noise from people walking past - it seems to echo a lot - but again that didn't bother us. The only other issue is that the water pressure isn't great, so despite having 3 showers in the house only one can ever be used at a time. However, the house really was very nice and is now at the top of my list for a return trip to Eastbourne (we go 2 or 3 times a year for my other half to go scuba diving)
