Veena is a great host, she responded quickly and was very helpful. The home was clean and neat and had everything we needed. This home can accommodate a large group easily, with 7 adults it didn’t feel like we were ever fighting for space. We stayed during the Des Moines marathon. Between the deck space, the spacious upstairs, and the living spaces there was more than enough room to come together or separate and relax. The house is located just outside of downtown and there is a grocery store close by. We were fortunate to be able to eat home cooked meals for most of our time there thanks to all of the amenities. We brought a propane tank to use the grill one night and cooked up many meals in advance. This is a great choice for families or groups!

Jasper is an amazing host! Very friendly and quickly responsive when I had questions. The house is very spacious with beautiful natural wood throughout. The porch swing was loved by all. Me and my guests felt right at home. I would definitely stay again!

House was in a dingy neighborhood, back yard was riddled with screws and screwdrivers sticking out. Next door had a whole boarded up Chicken House attached. Saw ants and small bugs crawling throughout the house. No Pan for cooking food in the oven. Lack of bedding throughout the house as well.

The home was in a quiet neighborhood but close to places to eat and downtown was minutes away. The kitchen had everything to cook a meal and the spacious table was great for crafting. We each had our own room and we fit all 4 cars in the parking spots behind the house. Nice spot for a Girls Weekend👍🏼

Stayed a week for the State Fair. Very clean, well stocked and mostly new/renovated. Beds were comfy. One was considerably low to the floor, about 8”, a little tuff getting up & down. The driveway and street is narrow. Neighbors parked on street made backing out difficult with large truck. Disappointed with the screened in back patio. It was uncharacteristically dirty with leaves and debris. Washer & dryer in basement, well lit and very clean. WiFi worked great. Plenty of hot water. We would stay again.

Great place to stay! Highly recommend. It has everything I needed + more. There was a few glitch things that happened that Josiah addressed right away making it as smooth as possible. Thank you! Would stay here again.

Very comfortable king size bed. Quiet apartment and felt safe and at home there. Very clean and had everything I needed. I will definitely stay again when I’m back in Iowa.

I totally enjoyed my stay with Midwest Hospitality. I immediately felt right at home. I was in close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The service was excellent. I had a small issue which they came and promptly handled. The staff was always courteous and got back to me quickly.

Very nice lady who seems to just need some company. Space was nice and we got what we expected and saw in the photos, don’t be rude in the reviews and look at the photos and descriptions for stuff that is clearly there. Bathroom was awesome for the space

Great location...close to food, shopping and the RecPlex. Townhouse was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed while in town for a state gymnastic event! It was 3 adults and 3 kiddos. We have enough space and thought it was a cozy spot for the weekend ! Secluded located but also 5-10 minutes away from almost anything you need!

Two of us in town for a memorial service and gathering of friends. The place was great-perfect size-two bedrooms worked for us perfectly-cute place. Minor point is a bathroom typical of these little homes, with a toilet literally right next to the tub/shower with only an inch or two to spare on the sides-made for some interesting "negotiating!" But as I said, this is minor. Shower great! Located in a great neighborhood, peaceful, safe to walk, close to a mall and restaurants etc. Be aware there is a basement tenant- took us by surprise but that was because we didn't read the description fully! They were super quiet and we barely knew anyone else was there. Their apartment is separate from the unit. Definitely recommend the place and Josh was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great front porch for sitting and watching the world, lots of windows, good linens and towels, extra blankets, easy on street parking., Keurig, so very quiet-we would rent again in a heartbeat....

Accurate listing, very nice place and close enough to downtown. Instructions for check in and checkout were clear and uncomplicated. Our stay fell on DST and the host was kindly flexible with our checkout. Highly recommend the host and location.

Peaceful. Watched deer, turtles, hawks and much more wildlife.

We were in town for a funeral and Tiffany was so accommodating to our needs, including purchasing a baby gate for the basement stairs for our toddler. The house was cozy, and had all the amenities to make us feel at home. We hope to visit again soon to explore what Des Moines has to offer! Thanks again.

Jane’s place is a solid choice. It’s a cute little house with ample parking and is close to groceries, gas, and restaurants and had everything we needed.

The home had lots of character, very clean, and spacious. It was perfect to stay there with my family and still be able to have privacy within the home. The host communicated very well and was friendly with their responses!

Derek’s Airbnb was a perfect place for our family. We were in Des Moines from Colorado with our dog for my mother in laws memorial service. It was very convenient for family to gather to be together after the service and the younger kids loved the game room downstairs. Beds and sheets were comfortable and the place was very clean. I especially liked the natural light in the kitchen with the big windows and skylight. Great fenced yard for the dog and easily walkable to Valley Junction and park for the dog as well. Slept 4 adults and one toddler quite comfortably. Derek was so quick to respond to any requests I had! I would highly recommend Derek’s home for comfort, convenience and price.

We are two couples who stayed at Daniel’s for three nights. The location in an area of historic homes felt safe and was only a short drive from downtown. The beds were comfortable, the rooms very clean, and everything we needed was available. We especially appreciated the suggestions for nearby restaurants that were included in the house rule book. If travels bring us back to the area, we would definitely try to stay at Daniel’s place again.
