A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

This was a family getaway with our 3 kids, their spouses and 7 grandchildren. Everyone had a great time. The house is very comfortable and spacey. Inside activities were collectively exceptional: air hockey, foosball, ping pong, pool table, large screen TVs. Outside activities were great: swimming pool, fire pit, hot tub and a huge backyard for playing wiffle ball or catch, or soccer, or volleyball practice. Kids that ranged from 2 to 11 always had something to do; many air hockey games and lots of hot tub time. The property management team is one of the best we have experienced. I raised several minor issues after check in and they addressed them immediately. They struck me as truly being committed to guest satisfaction as they were easy to access directly; a rarity in an age of AI based, time wasting, useless response systems; easy to rate this property as 5 star.

Amy was a wonderful host! She had great local recommendations, the property was absolutely beautiful, and everything was easy to access. Traveling with two little ones is always a challenge, but this was perfect; our little ones got to explore the woods, visit the chickens, and play freely on property. The neighborhood is quiet, the kitchen is well stocked, the layout of the space was perfect for what we needed, everything was clean and comfortable, and we felt right at home. Amy was responsive to all of my messages leading up to our stay, available during our stay if we had questions, and very friendly when we met her too. Overall a great experience and we'd stay there again when we're in the area!

Had a wonderful time here for a peaceful getaway with friends. The home was beautiful and cozy. Loved the hot tub and staring at the stars at night.

We had a great time on our Spring Break. Tons of space and a great layout. Our kids loved the game room, and the dog loved the fenced in backyard. The hot tub was lovely as well. Super clean and a very responsive host. No complaints!

Returning to Asheville with our family was so easy and rewarding staying at Anne's place! Easy to get to everything in Asheville and Hendersonville all while offering peaceful surroundings for us to relax and enjoy our family time. This home offered everything we needed and more, with grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment, and trails within a short drive. The communication and responses with the host were so friendly and quick, we highly recommend this host and property!

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

This place is an amazing home for a family vacation or large gathering for Rumbling Bald or just a true GEM for a family vacation away. With the amentities in the property along with the peacefulness of the home, it was truly a great time. We stayed here with my family for the weekend of my wedding and could not have asked for a better spot. We also could bring our dogs and he had everything for them if we had forgotten anything such as beds, a crate, bowls. It was super nice and such a nice touch!

Let me just say that this place is excellent, as are the hosts, Roger and Elizabeth. The house has three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom (each recently redone). The common area upstairs has plenty of seating, and the common area in the basement has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed. The house has two nice TVs, which allows for different folks to watch different shows. All of that is great, but the true treasure of the place is the view of Little Warrior Mountain. The sun rises over the mountain, and it's beautiful. The house has sturdy, comfortable Adirondack chairs for folks to enjoy the views. (We spent a lot of time out there.) It also has a hot tub, which was great on cold nights. I would also be remiss if I did not commend the hosts, who were super-responsive to questions, offered helpful local suggestions, and who were just plain kind. My whole crew highly recommends this home.

If you want a country living feel this is the place for you. Very quiet area. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time in Saluda. It was very peaceful, especially with the water sound in the background. It was plenty of space, great outdoor seating, and the weather was beautiful. It was sad to see the destruction happened during the hurricane. We walked some of the roads that were closed. And there was a lot of damage. But overall, we had a wonderful time.

Chandler, aka “Tiger”, was probably the best AirBnB host I’ve ever encountered. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and reached out to us as soon as we booked his listing. On top of that, he helped us with realtor recommendations as we are looking to move to the area. The property is beautiful, and the fence was secure for our dogs to run and play in. We had just finished a cross-country drive and it was a treat for us and our pups to have such a big, green, relaxing space. Property has the perks of a rural feel while being close to a good grocery store, TIEC, and downtown Tryon, Columbus and Landrum. Bonus points- Charcoal grill worked great and was clean. Starlink internet was fast and consistent. Didn’t use hot tub but it was warm and looked clean and comfortable. Don’t look elsewhere. Stay here.

This stay was exactly what we were looking for. Four kids and three adults had ample space to enjoy our vacation. The small touches like having s’mores ingredients, wood by the fire pit and plenty of propane for the grill made the stay so convenient.

We had an excellent stay at Ken’s place. The lay out of the house was perfect for our needs. We felt comfortable and had everything we need! If you are traveling with guests of different ages this place was perfect. Babies and new parents downstairs for naps and early bedtime, grandparents on the main level to avoid stairs, and upstairs is perfect for the younger crowd. The location is also notable. We were 6 minutes from Saluda. We had a nice lunch one day. The next day we got ice cream and used the playground on Main Street. Ken was very responsive to all our additional questions! We are looking forward to booking Ken’s place again!

Loretta's home was beautiful and just as described. It is located so close to the cute downtown of Saluda with it's cute shops and restaurants. The backyard looks out over a split rail fence to an old country cabin at the base of a hill - it could be right out of a movie set! The home was fully outfitted with everything you need for a long or short visit. The furnishings were cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the towels and blankets were plentiful. It was colder than we anticipated and these Floridians appreciated all the warm blankets and throws in the house! Loretta has at least four birdfeeders around the property and we could have sat on any of the porches watching the bird antics all day. At the end of some long days out and about this was a warm, welcoming house to come back to. When we come back to Saluda we would love to stay at The Gray Squirrel again!

I highly recommend David’s place. It is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful mountain town. Fantastic restaurants nearby. Peaceful woods and walking trails behind the property. David was extremely responsive and Frannie next door is a GEM!! Do not hesitate to book this place! It’s incredible!!

We have stayed at the Cider House a few times with our dogs. The house is perfect with plenty of space with a great kitchen, beautiful bathroom with strong water pressure, and plenty of space to walk our dogs outside. Every morning that we were there this time, we saw deer in the backyard which was perfect. The Cider House is our go-to place when we stay in the area to visit family and friends. Look forward to our next visit!

A wonderful home away from home near Lake Lure and Serenity Ridge Wedding Venue, paved road, just off of Rte 9. Beautiful wooded, private property convenient to local attractions and grocery. Very clean, spacious, comfortable- lots of natural light. Lovely outdoor sitting space with fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Very relaxing space. Welcoming hosts.

Clean, convenient, lots of space. Have stayed here before and it is just minutes to the horse show. Cute little seating area outside. Has a washing machine that I’ve never used because there’s no dryer. Always enjoy staying here
