This was a great stay for us. We had an extended stay of 5 weeks due to home renovations and it began to feel like home. Everything looked brand new and was extremely clean! Great office space with fast internet! I would highly recommend it for short term or longer stays. David was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Carly and Mike are amazing hosts! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at home. Their farm is absolutely beautiful, and it’s clear how much hard work and dedication they put into maintaining it. The whole family is constantly tending to the land, animals, and gardens, creating a truly special place. For their family,friends and guests From the fire pit to the garden, every part of the property reflects their effort! They also went out of their way to make our stay comfortable for our 1 year old. providing a high chair, a-wooden activity block that kept the baby entertained! As well as a pack N play. We loved seeing the chickens, roosters, sheep, and hardworking farm dogs! As well as purchasing from Carly’s menu for her homemade goodies! Offering sourdough bagels and cinnamon rolls, farm fresh eggs, and more! They were beyond delicious—you can tell she puts so much care into everything she makes. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate!

Mike was a gracious host who provided a great deal of information regarding local restaurants, attractions and things to do. His place was spotless. He made himself available if we needed any help. The home was just the right size for a couple staying for a few days with enough kitchen amenities to cook some meals. Overall, we had a positive experience. We would recommend Mike's place to anyone staying in the area.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE APARTMENT AND THE AREA WAS PERFECT FOR US TO TRAVEL TO FLAT ROCK TO FAMILY HOME FOR THANKSGIVING. VERY CLEAN, WELL STOCKED WITH ALL KITCHEN, TOWELS, ETC FOR YOU. I DO HOPE WHEN WE TRAVEL TO THE AREA AGAIN FOR FAMILY TIME WE CAN STAY WITH CHRISTOPHER AGAIN. THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!!!

Lori was a wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay at her cottage. She thought of everything from sugar, creamer, coffee, to salt & pepper, cooking spray, to everything you need for laundry. What an amazing host. This is a very roomy cottage with the two bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. I love to cook and the kitchen was well equiped for each meal. We will stay again. We love Forest City "the official Hallmark town". It is always a wonderful place to stay especially this time of the year. The lights and decorations of the town are spectacular. The people are so warm and welcoming. You will feel right at home in this small town. And don't let the "small town" fool you if you like to shop. The Main street area which is walking distance from the cottage has many great places to shop (and eat). You will return home with precious, unique Christmas gifts. Be sure to eat breakfast at Smith's Drug. What a piece of history at a great price. Thank you Lori!!!

Our host, Alex, was terrific. Very friendly, responsive and kindly lent my husband a belt for an event we attended as he forgot to pack his own from home! The space is perfect and meticulously clean. Bed is very comfortable and kitchen has lots of pans to use for cooking which we appreciated. WiFi is good as we needed to work remotely for a day there (desk, kitchen table and covered outdoor picnic table provided lots of space). Not to mention aesthetically, it is a gorgeous place. Alex suggested a great park around the block (Bent Creek Community Center) and the neighborhood is walkable. Of course Bent Creek has fantastic trails close by. Highly recommended staying here! You won’t be disappointed.

Let me just say that this place is excellent, as are the hosts, Roger and Elizabeth. The house has three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom (each recently redone). The common area upstairs has plenty of seating, and the common area in the basement has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed. The house has two nice TVs, which allows for different folks to watch different shows. All of that is great, but the true treasure of the place is the view of Little Warrior Mountain. The sun rises over the mountain, and it's beautiful. The house has sturdy, comfortable Adirondack chairs for folks to enjoy the views. (We spent a lot of time out there.) It also has a hot tub, which was great on cold nights. I would also be remiss if I did not commend the hosts, who were super-responsive to questions, offered helpful local suggestions, and who were just plain kind. My whole crew highly recommends this home.

If you want a country living feel this is the place for you. Very quiet area. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back.

We would absolutely stay here again it was 10/10! The pictures speak for themselves, the views were unmatchable! We loved the fire pit on the front porch and hot tub! The beds are super comfortable and the downstairs closet had plenty of space. We did not use the upstairs although it had a super nice office space and good closet space too in both bedrooms. The terrain is a little rough getting there, but we did fine in my Subaru outback! It was super peaceful and the extra acreage was super nice for our dog. Adam and Katie would respond very quickly and were super helpful, the place even has a great guide book with local recommendations. Would for sure recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay close enough to the fun things in Asheville!

I highly recommend David’s place. It is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful mountain town. Fantastic restaurants nearby. Peaceful woods and walking trails behind the property. David was extremely responsive and Frannie next door is a GEM!! Do not hesitate to book this place! It’s incredible!!

Kelly was always available if we had any questions. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and natural light. Our dog enjoyed laying in the dog bed and looking out the windows. The communities of Tryon and Landrum are a treasure.

Just a word of thanks. The location is literally steps from the Main Street of Saluda but still Private and pretty. My wife left some Jewelry behind and Matt was responsive right away to help us get it. Thank you for that.

Lovely cabin very well equipped with everything needed for a lovely vacation. Tamra was responsive and answered any questions we had. Would recommend!

Lindsay’s place was exactly as described and perfect for us. Unfortunately, we were only in the area overnight and wasn’t able to enjoy the Lake Lure area more than we did. Lindsay’s place was extremely clean, cozy and peaceful. We will definitely reach out to Lindsay to stay in her home when we are in the area again!

I loved this little private stay in Lake Lure. after the destruction from the hurricanes, it's amazing to see how strong the community is, how positive their outlook is, and how they've grown closer together through this. Melissa's place was extremely clean, quiet, and BEAUTIFULLY surrounded by the Carolina mountains. I even saw a black bear driving up to the property late at night! the neighborhood is quiet, we honestly didn't think anyone else was around until we saw another car. Overall, a BEAUTIFUL stay. Even with the damage from the hurricane, there was still a ton to do nature-wise, and we stopped at the Gorge zip lining and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST. I definitely recommend this stay 🥰

Very cute condo. Resort access was nice to have as there is not much to do but n the area without driving 30-40mins. But with the resort access, you have several pools, a beach, and lots of other things that will keep you busy. The condo is a good size for two people. The added perk of being able to bring our dog was nice. The kitchen is limited- small air fryer and stove top with minimal container options for putting things in the microwave, but we were able to make it work since we were only there a few days. There is a Keurig with coffee pods, which was nice. Overall, the place is clean, dog friendly, with nice access to a resort.

Alicia was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking process and during my stay. She answered all my questions promptly. The kitchen was also stocked with everything I could have needed/wanted during my stay. Thank you for a great trip!

It is rare an Airbnb is even better than the photos but Derek and Misty's place was just that. No matter how much time you are planning to spend at the condo it is equipped with everything you could need and more. I have been coming to Lake Lure for over 10+ years and highly recommend their condo if you are coming with 2-3 people. It is also very pet-friendly. Hoping to be back soon!

A gem of a place. Super quiet and peaceful walking distance to restaurants

My stay at this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. Though I never met April and Derek in person, they were incredibly attentive and responsive to any enquiries, making everything seamless. The house itself was stunning, well-equipped with great amenities, and set in a peaceful, scenic location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a quiet retreat!
