My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

This home was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Cleveland. Our host's home was very clean, organized, and had all that we needed. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a safe place to stay with a rather large group. Thank you Leif for hosting us!

The house was perfect!! Just as listed. I loved sitting on the dock reading my book. So peaceful and quiet. If we ever return, this will surely be at the top of my list to stay!

Enjoyed a family Thanksgiving with my extended family from 4 different states! The space was perfect for us! It provided beds for everyone and a large hangout space for meals and nightly card games! Having 2 separate houses allowed the freedom for the night owls to stay up and not worry about disturbing the ones who ended the evening a little earlier! The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had every dish, pot, pan, utensil and appliance needed to prepare daily meals as well as Thanksgiving dinner! The golf course and carts were a big hit with everyone especially the golfers in the group! Well had a couple minor issues and Juanita was very responsive and easy to reach! We would definitely stay here again!

Laura is a great host and I appreciate her flexibility with our schedule and her quick responses and attention to detail. The house was perfect! The back room is cozy with the most amazing view! My family loved the amazingly huge dining room table. We found ourselves gathering around it a lot to talk or play games and of course eat! And the large kitchen island is perfect for a family pizza making night!! I would totally stay here again. Thanks Laura!

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

The space itself was immaculate, festive decorations, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, from a well-stocked kitchen to plush bedding. Ruth went above and beyond to make sure I had a seamless experience, providing helpful local recommendations and even a personalized welcome booklet. I felt like I was staying in a home away from home. I left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

Laurie and her husband welcomed me warmly. The space was clean and comfortable. The view was my favorite! I enjoyed the dock early in the morning. Such a cozy and beautiful spot tucked away in Dayton. I’ll be recommending it to others.

We had a wonderful couple of days and this perfect little retreat just off the beaten path. Great views of the water, apartment had everything we needed. Crisp linens, clean kitchen and bathroom. Wonderful place. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great stay overall! Lake was way down so the cove it is in was just straight mud. I’m sure during summer months it is full. The grill looked like it had not been used in a long time and was rusted that was really the only negative. We will for sure be back thou!

We really enjoyed our stay. From kayaking to sipping coffee on the back porch, it was great. The beds were so comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with all the needs to make it easy to enjoy a cooked meal. We will return!

Great place to stay in Dayton. Walk to restaurants. My son attends Bryan College great place for us to stay and have family time. Brittany is great to work with.

My brother and I treated our mom to a weekend getaway to celebrate her 80th birthday. The “Flying Squirrel” was perfect! Great floor plan, beautiful interior design, comfortable beds, and plenty of thoughtful extras! If you’re looking for a true “get-away-from-it-all”….this is it!

The most perfect place for a relaxed and quiet getaway! My husband and I drove up here from Florida for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that we felt right at home. We hardly left the cabin, there was plenty to do right there. Canoeing on the lake with our dog was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 would stay again.

Great little spot! can turn boat around in the back yard works out pretty good as long as u don’t have to big of a boat. Cool place to hang out in the back.
