We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

I don’t think the pictures did this place justice- it was absolutely beautiful and homey and had everything we needed, including the comfiest bedding I’ve ever slept in. We were given great recommendations and the communication was quick, friendly and helpful. We did have a few woodlouse and even a beetle in the house but we were warned and there’s repellants so there wasn’t much more that the host could’ve done. The area was so peaceful and it was a perfect break from normal life. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

Daryl's place is amazing, just as pictured and described. Very modern with everything you need. The garden was also a great size and very secure for our dog who enjoyed the freedom of being able to go in and out as he pleased. Darly was a great host, responded quickly to any queries and was very accommodating and flexible as we were there to be close to my mum why she was in derriford hospital. Would love to stay here again under better circumstances one day! Thank you!

We loved it so much the first time, we just had to return again this year. Fabulous cottage, situated in a great location to explore North Cornwall. The cottage is furnished to a high level and really does have everything you would need. An absolute home from home and so cosy in the Autumn/ Winter months. Only one mile from Constantine bay and within easy drive of so many other bay and beaches in the area. Cottage ideal for all family types and has a well enclosed garden perfect for children or animals. Tim is an excellent host, communicates very well and is extremely responsive. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

This is easily one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. From the communications, to the home itself, it was amazing. The home is spacious, with large rooms, including the bedrooms and bathroom, it had absolutely everything in it you would have in Your own home. A lovely garden, although we were there in March so sitting outside was not an option You really couldn’t ask for any better holiday home, I would definitely book again next time I’m down I. We stayed at Sarah’s as we were in Newquay for a half marathon, the fairytale of Newquay 15 mile run, Sarah’s place was ideal, located just perfectly between fistral beach and the harbour. Really close to town, perfect to get to Sainsbury’s for any forgotten items. The fort inn pub is a must just for the view. Sarah gave us all the details for check in and everything was just as described. As we were there just before Christmas, Sarah had even put in a Christmas tree, which was an extra added touch. Thank you!

We stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed the house. My only feedback would be to leave instructions for using the hob! Otherwise, a perfect stay in a great airbnb. Thanks for having us

Second time staying here on a short break. Laura is a great host, very responsive and always friendly. Apartment is perfectly clean, warm and in a great quiet location with an easy short walk to the beach. 5 minute drive into Falmouth for shops, restaurants. Thanks Laura for the welcome goodies, always appreciated after a long drive.

Exactly what we wanted. Small, cosy, homely apartment. Easy access to Falmouth and other places nearby. Good local food, first class fish and chips within 5 minutes, (portions are huge), and Pizza's within a couple of minutes. Both cooked to order. Traditional pub, drinking only, but you are welcome to take food in from other places, round the corner. Further restaurants within easy access. Falmouth beach 10 minute drive. The apartment was very quiet. Parking was an added bonus. Would we visit again? Without a doubt.

Anna was a wonderful, considerate host, ensuring the flat was warm and cost ahead of our arrival. Xmas decorations sparkled and the decor gave a real hygge vibe. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I won’t stay anywhere else in Falmouth again. Superb. Six stars!

Place was clean, light and spacious. Had everything we needed. Loved location as 20-30 min stroll (moderate hills) to/from Main Street in Newquay and had free parking. Would stay again and do recommend.

A beautiful, peaceful location and excellent accommodation with easy access to outstanding walks and the beach. Charlotte and her husband were wonderful to deal with.

we spent two weeks at Pippa's place. it was everything that we were told and more. Pippa, Matt and the children were very welcoming and friendly. The Annexe is very spacious clean and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay there again in the future and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family

Overall a very good experience

A lovely lodge in a great location. Perfect for our needs. Nice walk to Looe directly from the beach, and having the beach shack open in the evenings was a bonus. Great area for sea swimming (with a seal for company!) and easy to get to other parts of Cornwall. Louise was very helpful and responsive. We’d visit again.

This Christmas will go down as one of the best our family has ever had, and this beautiful property played a huge part in that. It’s a very special place—the only problem is that you won’t want to leave at the end! We spent 10 days here with family from Plymouth, Sweden, and France, and the house was perfect. Everyone loved it: the older generation was cozy and comfortable, the teenagers had the freedom to explore town, and we all came together in the evenings for meals and games. The owners went above and beyond to make the house warm, inviting, and festive, with lovely Christmas treats that everyone appreciated. The ground floor has a spacious living room with a lovely log fire, a fully equipped kitchen with an island that opens onto the dining room, and a WC with a hand basin. Upstairs, there are four beautiful bedrooms, a spotless bathroom with a shower and bath, and another WC. Parking is easy right outside. Thanks to Joanna and Mike for creating so many treasured memories!

Us 9 from 7 to 70 had a really great holiday. Despite sometimes dodgy weather, we loved using the numerous house facilities. The sheltered from breeze,wellness area exceeded expectations, especially hot tub & sauna & was well maintained.Also much family football ! & basketball. The outdoor gym a good perk. Pizza oven good fun too. Indoors budding pianists explored their talents ! The conservatory was beautiful to relax & eat family meals in if we couldn't eat outside. Locally the walk to Porth beach for us was fine & walk to the island beautiful. We made use of the body boards & kids wetsuits at the house and all tried out paddle boarding at the Gannell ( again free because the house offered inflatable board ). So busy we only watched 1 film in the cinema / playroom, but it's a great asset to have, as was the annexe, a real little home. the lettuces growing if we wanted & just the huge space in & out. Unlike many places, upstairs was spacious & all fully carpeted, so very quiet.

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.

Just completed a weeks stay with Lindsey and it was just perfect. She was such a lovely and welcoming host and one of the best we have had! The property was homely and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t want to leave! Have been looking to stay again already!
