Vlash and his place is the essence of Albanian welcomness and kindness! He was super flexible and easy to reach through Airbnb and other messages. We were warmly welcomed at his hotel and we felt like home. He agreed that we can leave our car at his yard and when it appeared that we have a flat tyre he used everything he has to help us. We pumped the tyre with help of his friend and took us to vulcanisation point. We are saved now and ready to enjoy our rest of the trip in Albania!

The accommodation was perfect and exactly as described, with a breathtaking view of the valley. Although we experienced some issues with the water supply in the upper part of the village on the second night, we were quickly provided with an alternative accommodation with warm water. A big thank you to the manager, Rafet – I have rarely met such a helpful and hospitable person on my travels.

Vladimir est un hôte très accueillant, je recommande vivement sa villa au pieds des pistes de ski dans une magnifique petite station de sports d'hiver. Vladimir a été de bon conseil pour notre séjour et reste joignable tout le temps. Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à Popova Shapka.

It was very clean, and the accomodation exceeded the expectations

Ukë was very kind and helpful and the place was very relaxing. Beautiful mountains, fresh and crisp air and picturesque surroundings. The place has everything you need but make sure to bring food and other essentials with you because there is no supermarket or restaurant anywhere close. If it’s winter, make sure you winterize your car before going up there. I higly recommend this place!
