We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

My stay was comfortable, host was friendly and responsive .. place was good but only thing that need a bit of improvement is linen in rooms.. but otherwise everything was great!!

It was an amazing stay at Scott and Barbara Jean's property! Barbara Jean was very responsive if anything came up and they were incredibly accommodating when we realized an appliance was not working. We loved utilizing the back patio and outdoor fireplace and highly recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing stay with proximity to Detroit or Ann Arbor.

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

Excellent host and house. Lot’s of nice touches like bedroom ceiling lights with built in fans, end tables with chargers, and wall mounted magnetic tic tac toe. Pool table and hot tub make it a fun stay. We did a bunch of activities in and around Detroit and Ferndale and this Airbnb is right in the middle of it. 10 min to so many things. The area is very rundown which can be jarring if you’re not familiar with Detroit. I brought 4 Idahoans with me and they didn’t want to get out of the car. But once we got inside everyone felt safe and comfortable and we had an excellent, problem-free 3 day stay here.

We had a great stay at Ro and Oksana's place. The location was great for visiting my child at U of M and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The place was clean and looked just like the pictures. Ro and Oksana checked in with us to make sure that everything was going well for us. It was well stocked with all the things you would need for your stay. I would definitely stay again!

Kathy’s place was beautiful, clean, and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 4 month stay! The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful and it’s located near so many yummy restaurants and fun downtown attractions. Kathy was always very responsive whenever we reached out to her and always made sure we were taken care of. We would love to stay here if we ever travel to the area again!

Daniel was an awesome host ! Stayed here on a weekday and had everything ready for me and my friends - was very easy to book with and was accommodating as well as attentive . The place was beautiful with a mix of old, new and fun designs throughout the apartment. Will definitely book again next time we are in the area :)

I enjoyed my stay at this listing. The listing is accurate and looks like the pictures provided. I appreciate all the extra bedding and the the very quick response from the host. The listing is part of an apartment complex with neighbors. They were very quiet making the place very peaceful. The location is really great. It's up the road from the little town making it cozy but not feeling too far away from society. I recommend this place!

We loved Kelsey's place. Unlike some airbnb's, which are obvious remodels where no one has ever actually lived, this apartment was the real thing, cozy and liveable, with high ceilings, a real kitchen, and a full bathroom. The neighborhood is practically on Wayne State campus, so it has all the plusses and minuses of an active student population. Very convenient access to restaurants and culture. We would definitely stay here again. After we checked out, my wife discovered she had left her favorite coat behind. Kelsey went above and beyond to help us with that. Thank you, Kelsey!

My husband and I were looking for accommodation close to my best friend's wedding venue and home when we discovered Michael and Patti's rental. The place was easy to find, comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. The mornings were beautiful and peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Annie’s sweet apartment was perfect for a weekend in Ann Arbor for our family of 4! The kids especially enjoyed walking to the park across the street!

I think that Mark is a great host. He was able to help in a time of dire need. Very responsive with clear instructions would definitely recommend. Home nice and clean very nicely furnished felt just like home.

I stayed here while visiting Detroit for a funeral. The house was very nice and clean. The host was very responsive and friendly. I would recommend this place 10/10 if you’re looking for a safe and convenient place to stay that’s not too far from the city of Detroit.

Perfect place for a girls weekend! So close to tons of great restaurants and professional sports complexes. Parking was only a tiny bit tricky because half the street was blocked off for construction and there were pistons games and/or concerts in the area both nights we were there so pickins were slim on our block, but lots of availability not too far away! The building is old and beautiful, the residents (and their dogs) were so friendly, and the area is really coming back to life! We would definitely stay here again—especially if we had tickets to a game!

This is a great place to stay if you want to be right near all the downtown Ann Arbor stuff. I was in for the film festival and walking to the Michigan Theater in less than 10 minutes. Plus the treadmill and bike are a good workout option if you have a login for Peleton. Everything was clean, and the instructions provided make it really easy to find and access the apartment. All places have imperfections, and here they're just minor things that didn't particularly impact my stay: the kitchen sink has some sort of sensor that we didn't really understand, there isn't directly power access on the nightstand, and the TVs are old (so not well accessible to streaming; Netflix and Amazon Prime are possible though). However, I'm just noting these things in case they matter a lot more for other guest; not a big deal for me. The location and workout equipment made it a fantastic choice for my trip.

Nice central location with easy street parking. A quick walk to DIA; we drove everywhere else. Space was bigger than we expected from the photos. Great kitchen!

Peter’s place was an excellent home base for our visit back to Michigan. Close to everything you might need, but on a quiet and peaceful road in the Eberwhite neighborhood. The apartment was clean and comfy—we’ll definitely be checking if it’s available for future trips.
