Lovely little place. Viv is a great communicator and was generous with supplies and arrivals/departure times. Totally adequate as a base for us to stay while attending some training nearby.

Rob and Browen made us feel at home. The place was great and had everything you could need.

Very cosy spot for three of us, clean and very well appointed down to salt, pepper and cooking oil! Will stay again when we come down.

We loved our stay, lovely kiwi bach feel. And it was so close to the beach!, just a few steps! We loved the beach view from the window, and enjoyed walking along the beach to get to the nearby cafes. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing beach break.

The home was at a level that allowed a relaxed frame of mind. To drift and let the stress of everyday work obligations to disappear. To walk on the beach then relax in the spa with the view of Kapiti Island, warmed our soul. Time felt like it had stood still as we rejuvenated all levels. Really cosy place with a beautiful view and a lovely garden. Noise less, close to a bus stop if you don't have a car. I have spent a wonderful week in Wellington! Thanks Wendy!

Lovely stay in a nice new apartment. Warm, inviting, private, cozy and quite. Great for our quick trip away. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable older style beach house right on the water. Fabulous views of sunsets. Kitchen well equipped, entire house very clean with all amenities. No TV or wi-fi, but the views and location make up for it! Relax and unwind.

Wow! What an incredible place! The views are outstanding and the layout and facilities are wonderful. An incredibly easy place to stay and Lynette was great to deal with. We loved our time at Lynette’s. We will definitely be back.

This is a really nice place to stay. It is in a private location which is right on the beach and we had no troubles with parking. We had two adults staying and found it a really nice size and everything that we needed was available - including skewers to make smores over the fire pit. When booking, I wondered if the bathroom would be awkward to access (based on the photos) but it absolutely wasn't and the shower had heaps of hot water and great pressure. Would definitely stay here again.

lovely house with absolutely spectacular views of the bay. the rooms get lots of sun and the house is big enough for a large family. our kids als enjoyed playing in the backyard. some of the appliances and utensils were a bit old and worn, but everything was usable and nothing missing that you might need for a stay. John was quick to respond and was really helpful in all regards.

What a joy and delight to start our trip to NZ at Sarah's beautiful home. The house is an easy distance from Wellington City, but also gave great access to the beautiful Kapiti Coast. The view out to the Tasman Sea and Kapiti Island were like no other. A pohutakawa tree was blooming up against the deck and we regularly saw tui there. Sunny, cosy, and with three very comfortable bedrooms below. We slept so well in the beds, and enjoyed using the full bath. Sarah had plenty of linens, and was incredibly responsive and helpful. There was a lovely back deck to eat on, and a trampoline for the kids to enjoy. It was an easy walk down to the Pukerua Bay zigzag, leading down to the beach, with access around the bend to spectacular sunset views of the South Island. Many days, a highlight was coming back to the beautiful house and enjoying a cup of tea on the deck. A memorable and beautiful stay! Thank you!!

This house is exactly as described in the listing. What the pictures and description can't convey, is the sense of complete contentment, relaxation and rejuvenation this home gives it guests. The ambience must be experienced to be understood. Waves constantly break (or lap gently) on the beautiful beach across the road in front of the house, the birds sing at dawn from the canopy of native trees on the slope behind the house. FIshermen, with their day boats launch from the slipway opposite and return smiling with their catch - and will GIVE you freshly caught fish in return for a friendly greeting. Elderly couples stroll by occasionally walking their dogs. Children are sometimes heard squealing with surprise as they wade into the cold water. Everyone is smiling, friendly but never forward or intrusive. Really, it's just a heavenly place to spend time. Authentic, unpretentious but with all amenities, mod-cons and equipment needed to make the stay unforgettable. A treasured Find !

While this place is definitely rustic, it is equally charming. It is perfectly suited for families with young children. The beach down the hill is quiet and calm, again perfect for kids. We had the time of our lives in Pukerua Bay!
