We loved the location and the view from the deck is really very special. We so enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach. The bach has everything you need for a short stay, the bed & sofas are comfortable and the mini kitchen is well equiped for its size and there is an excellent BBQ. You can walk to Four Square for basics and/or a couple of cafes for coffee or lunch. We were appreciative of the milk, coffee, tea and biscuits.

It was in walking distance to a function we were going to so worked well for us.

The tree house in York bay is a fabulous place. Comfortable and views to die for. We loved it.

This was a return stay. Excellent host. Quality furnishings. Complementary quality food for continental breakfast and comfortable bed. Peaceful garden area to sit having a coffee and quiet neighborhood. Excellent Janus Bakkerij(bakery and restaurant) is only 2 minutes walk away. Highly recommended

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. Super close to Wellington city, the ferry, several embassies etc. Super comfortable beds with lovely linen, a modern and very big bathroom, stylish decor and a very spacious couch. Plus pet friendly! Thank you so much for having us!

Very convenient for us as we split our time between Wellington and Paraparaumu; 5 mins drive to get on the expressway to south/north. Aptly named location, woke to birdsong. Perfect, highly recommended.

I only spent one night here however could quite easily have stayed longer. The unit was very clean and tidy and even included breakfast for the price. There was yoghurt, fruit in containers, cereals, eggs, fresh fruit, bread, fruit juice, biscuits, chocolates and an array of teas and coffees. The bed was comfortable. Good shower. Automatic light in hall which comes on should you need to get up in the night. The unit was described and pictured as in the listing. I have no hesitation in recommending Mary and Ross’ place and would certainly stay here again should the need arise.

Excellent value for money, absolutely loved the swimming pool. Would definitley stay again. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Chester and Sarah’s place is incredible! The view is breathtaking, and I loved having coffee on the porch in the morning and catching the sunrise. It was very quiet and I felt far away from everything (in a good way). Tui like to hang out in the trees just outside the windows, which was fun to see as a newbie to NZ. The interior was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for cooking my meals. I didn’t have a car, but found the walk into the city manageable. I arrived with a few groceries, which I’d recommend for anyone else staying without a car. Chester and Sarah were both friendly and accommodating. It was a great experience and I’d love to stay again next time I find myself in Wellington. Thanks for having me!

By far the loveliest stay I’ve had with airbnb! The space was beautiful and clean with lots to do nearby via bus or walking, and Leanne was the kindest and most welcoming host. She made me feel right at home and went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this stay enough!

Raymond is a fantastic host, so helpful & friendly. I had to leave, unexpectedly, at short notice & Raymond ensured I did the appropriate thing in the Air BnB app so I would get a refund. I'll definitely be back to stay again when next in the area. I couldn't recommend Raymond more highly 👍😄.

This is a lovely place. Full kitchen cooking facilities. Ample Kitchen-dining space and living room. It got cold in the evening so I turned the heat pump on. Heated up the room quickly. Washing machine/dryer in bathroom/shower. Lovely comfortable bed and nice bedding. Very private. Beautiful birdsong. I think I heard an owl or a morepork as well. The neighbourhood is very nice. Easy downhill walk to new world and shops. Railway station and buses also very handy to Upper Hutt, Queensgate Lower Hutt and Wellington city. Great stay overall and immaculate accomodation.

We’re from Scotland visiting friends - if ever we make it back again, we will DEFINITELY book this accommodation again.
