The comfort of the cabin was perfect for our rainy weekend away as we ended up spending most of our stay indoors. The little fireplace kept the space cozy and warm for when we came in from the hot tub. Plenty of room to set up a large dog bed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to allow her to roam without any worry of her wandering off. We had a lovely time at Ash & Brett's.

Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning waterfront Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of the water right outside the door. The property is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. The open concept living space makes it feel so spacious, and the large windows bring in natural light and offer amazing views of the sunset each evening. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to local shops and restaurants if you want to explore. We loved spending time at the hot tub, and the kayaks provided were a huge bonus. The house was fully equipped with all the baby equipment we needed - high chair, pack and play. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a true gem and the ideal spot for a relaxing and memorable family vacation.

The place was very relaxing, warm, and inviting. Plenty of room. Quite a few appliances to be able to host a family. Loved the fact that they had a drip coffee maker or a Keurig. Easy to find and access. I was coming in late so they ensured lights were on.

Perfect little getaway, short and sweet - place was clean and tidy, easy to navigate and plenty of information and recommendations from the host/co-host. Would recommend and stay again.

We had a great stay at Alexandra’s place in Madeira Park. Alexandra is an attentive and thoughtful host: always quick to reply and address any questions. The home is cozy and welcoming, with beautiful surroundings and great amenities. While sauna and hot tub were undisputed highlights, there was plenty to enjoy inside the house—books, board games, puzzles, darts, table tennis, record player with a great little collection of records. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, step out on the deck, take a deep breath and take in the tranquil beauty of surrounding nature—a perfect way to unwind and get away from it all!

Lyndsey's space was large, light and comfy. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house had plenty of space and a fully-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the beach (just at the end of the street) and walked to restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Lyndsey was very responsive and helpful. We have a great time. Thanks, again, Lyndsey.

We had a really great time at this very comfortable townhouse! Derek was a very responsive host and was incredibly accommodating of us traveling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great spot for inter-generational families because the layout of living areas and bedrooms allows everyone to to be separate or together as they choose. We loved the quirkiness combined with the lovely modern bathrooms. And the property surrounding the house is so much fun to explore. It is a great family house and all the kids loved the pool and water slide. We have already decided to come back next year.

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

My stay at Bill's property was nothing short of amazing. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could have asked for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, communication was seamless, Bill was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, making every morning and evening feel special. This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

We loved the cottage. Great location, comfy beds, everything we needed. The only thing we would say is that the photos don’t do it justice. It’s much nicer in real life (which is always a bonus!) Judy the host made everything very easy.

Lovely space. The view of the stream outside the window and the mossy wall was so wonderful to sit in the morning and enjoy with coffee. Clean and bright space.

Wonderful stay for my wife, toddler and our two dogs, yard was wonderful and the home itself was well kept and perfect! There is no need to wonder what to do or where things are at, as instructions are easily seen and available. Very comfortable and was a great place to spend while in the island for the holidays. Would highly recommend to families with or without pets. Felt right at home and enjoyed our stay immensely. Great host, perfect location, and such a wonderful stay!

The cabin was cozy and quiet and the hosts were so nice! Calvin is such a sweetheart and we all (including my dog) enjoyed his company. The view from the property was amazing and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. With the location being so central, everything was nearby - close to restaurants, trails and more. Everything was exactly as pictured & we would love to come back.

Kenny’s apartment was fantastic. Easy access, extremely clean, well stocked, thoughtful and comfortable decor. One of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed in. A perfect place to relax. The suite is very comforting and enjoyable for even those rainy days and the kitchen is very well stocked if you like to cook. There is no shortage of bays and beaches to see along with the wild life while you are in the area. We had an absolute blast staying here for 3 nights. We will be back!

We had a great stay for skiing trip at Mt washington. very convenient just 40 min drive to the mountain. Lynn and Neil are very friendly host providing detailed instructions before check-in and and checkout. the place is cozy and well equipped. highly recommended for family trip!.

Lisa was very quick to correspond and her instructions for getting and checking out were very clear. The Snug is cozy with a great kitchen and bathroom - the hot water in the shower was great after a chilly walk. The beds were comfortable with good bedding and bedside lamps, and it was easy to connect our phones to the Smart TV to watch a movie. A short two block walk brought us to a bench with a fabulous ocean view and the beach was spectacular. Our first night followed a hot day and, despite the A/C in the front room, the bedrooms were a bit stuffy though the fans helped. Easy commute to Parksville or a quick trip into Nanaimo. Definitely recommend!
