We had a fantastic time. The surroundings were beautiful creating a magical atmosphere on all parts of the grounds. We highly recommend staying here and create lasting memories with those you love and cherish. We most definitely will be visiting again!

The perfect little getaway near Olympic National Park! Just as described and in a very peaceful neighborhood. My friends and I had a great time and our favorite part was the backyard.

Compass Rose was a great retreat for our family of four. We loved the views of the mountains in the backyard and had deer visit every morning. The hot tub was a treat after hiking ONP! The place has lots of amenities. We definitely want to come back!

Not only was this scenery incredible and beautiful, but Rich and Belle were incredible hosts. They were warm and responsive to help if we had any questions, and gave detailed information and support upfront. The home was cozy and comfortable, and the views could not be beat! We cannot wait to come back again.

Loved it! The host was very responsive and always helpful! We enjoyed utilizing the hot tub, grill, and fire pit which all were functional. The parking was great to fit all 3 cars we took. From the windows you could even see the water a bit! Great deal for what you are getting, I hope to enjoy another stay here soon!

this place was absolutely lovely. it was the perfect mixture of cabin feels & luxury. the area was peaceful & lush with greenery. although you have neighbors, it feels very private in the backyard. i loved the hammocks within the forest, what a nice touch. the cedar hot tub was SO nice. my favorite thing about the place. the bed was insanely comfy. both my husband and i were like what kind of witchcraft is this. i think it was the mixture of the flannel sheets and mattress topper. overall the space was very cozy, clean, and well stocked. things that stood out to me: - the espresso pods !!! (thank you, seriously) - the s’mores kit - the heated bathroom floor - the rain shower with river stone flooring seriously such a great stay. we’d come back in a heart beat 🩷

We had such a great wonderful time at our Airbnb. Absolutely beautiful location, extremely cozy and comfy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We will be back!

I’ve stayed at quite a few different Airbnb’s and this one stood out. It was hands down the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed, and the setting was perfect. My wife loved all the trees and the quiet neighborhood where we walked every day was also amazing. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Salty Dog Beach House! It was in a beautiful and convenient location on Whidbey Island - easy to get to hiking trails and to town. The beach house was perfect for traveling with two dogs, and we appreciated Tasha having dog bowls, a dog bed, and dog toys - which our dogs loved! We also loved being right at the beach, and spent a lot of time walking along the water. It was a quiet, clean, and peaceful accommodation! We appreciate Tasha’s clear communication and instructions. She was also proactive with a repair that was completed before we checked in. We look forward to staying here again with friends!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It's very spacious and comfortable. We traveled with a baby and large dog and this cabin met all of our needs. The space was also very welcoming and clean, we could truly rest. The hosts made the entire experience seamless.

Book this gem. Reason #1: When one of our dogs died prior to our stay, Kylie didnt have to give us our dog fee back but she did. Choose this place because this host is a decent and altruistic human being. And it's always reassuring to book a BnB run by a host who won't be trying to extract every penny she can. This host will have your back if problems develop. Reason #2: The lake location is beyond amazing-- plus you have acess to kayaks. This place is idyllic and beautiful, not to be missed.

It’s our second time coming to the cabin and our family is absolutely in love with the area and gorgeous home. The host is kind, helpful, and provides clear instructions.

Kristin was very proactive with instructions for entry and how best to communicate with her so that she could be most responsive to us. The place was charming and held my dear family and pet close in comfort. I especially love the thoughtfulness of having toys available for my littlest (3y) as well as games for us older ones. After all, I’m glad there isn’t a TV available. The wood stove and high ceilings meant we should be gathered together in warmth with our voices and laughter filling the space to get our dopamine fix. We were also glad to be treated to complementary teas and fixings. Such a silent night compared to the sirens and traffic in Tacoma. We found the shower head function options in the lower level to be novel. It was nice to sit as a family at the table (reminds me that we need to fix our at home seating arrangements). Maybe updated natural cooking utensils and a deep dusting would make things perfect (I performed an extraction of dust from the hairdryer to contribute).

Great hosts. Were communicative and also lovely quiet area. Bonus were the daily deer sightings!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. The details in the decorating and thoughtful amenities also made this one of the best air bnb's I've stayed in (and that's quite a few). My friend is visiting from NY and I think this may have helped me convince her to move here. The view itself is worth every penny and I wish we had stayed longer! Gerald was very responsive and made sure anything we needed was already available. So grateful we stayed here and it was the greatest kick off to a tulip tour that anyone could ask for!

This is a fantastic place for a large gathering—we enjoyed every moment of our stay! The location is peaceful and quiet, with the nearest neighbor at a comfortable distance, offering plenty of privacy. One of the highlights was spotting lots of seals lounging close to the cottage—a delightful and unique experience. The space is well-maintained, cozy, and perfect for creating lasting memories. Whether you're relaxing indoors or exploring the beautiful surroundings, this place offers a perfect escape. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

We had the best stay at Kristin's beautiful place by the Lake Crescent. The private dock on Lake Crescent is the cherry on top. Kristin was super responsive and graciously helped our enquiries. Highly recommend this place if you're planning to explore ONP and the peninsula.

Great spot right on the beach. Literally just walk out your door to the water. Its a great spot for a quiet weekend.

Th view from this cabin was very cool! The inside was as pictured and we loved the projector screen. The only thing I would say we didn’t enjoy was a strange smell… maybe it’s bc the cabin is right on the water and it has soaked up some of the salty air but i don’t know if I would stay here again based on that. Overall it was a good stay.

Great beach cabin!! Very clean! EVERYTHING you could possibly need. I wish I could wake up every day to that view. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Very sweet place! The garden cabin was so cute, clean and cozy. There was music in the barn and a sweet little cafe stand. I would highly recommend this for your next stay.
