We had a wonderful weekend away with our 3 year old grand daughter. She loved Reilly's house at the beach, the beach and the playgound at the park. Warm, comfy lovely neighbours. We will be back.

Stay was fantastic. We had three adults and one child. The upstairs room was perfect for our 8 year old. Our visit was shorter and we would have loved to spend more in the swim spa and "clubhouse" area. We do have family in Port Austin and we can envision more visits up and will stay again if available and Julie would have us. My father did have some allergy related issues due to pets being welcomed, so that may be a concern based on your allergy situation. The only other item I could nitpick is the water pressure in the main bathroom would make a pretty loud noise when taking a shower, so if other guest were trying to sleep it could be an issue. It came and went and we were so tired we managed to sleep around it. Those two things are the only things I could "nitpick" at, and you really gave to search to find something negative about this place. It was great. Clean, plenty of top notch amenities, appliances, and cooking options. Hosts were nice and responsive if needed.

We just back from our honeymoon and oh my goodness!! The location was beautiful and was peaceful. Sarah was so helpful and answer quickly and would make any adjustments we wanted.

Had an amazing long weekend - place was beautiful with clean, simple, beach decor. Amazing beach with chairs, toys, kayaks, fire pit, hammocks, umbrella, you name it…. Hot tub was clean and it being built into the deck was super convenient. Guest house was adorable and perfect for my little brother. Host was so responsive and helpful. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, would highly recommend.

we had a lovely time unwinding from our stressful careers. walks on the beach, beautiful open living space, hot tub at night. highly recommend. small dishwasher and washer dryer made it so easy to clean up.

This home was nothing short of comfort, and privacy! Feels very secluded and all of the amenities were amazing, hot tub worked great and hosts were available if needing anything!

Our family had the most wonderful time. This place exceeded expectations. As other reviewers have mentioned this place is very well stocked. We rode bikes to the ice cream shop, swam at the nearby beach (most days we had it to ourselves), grilled, had a campfire, enjoyed the lovely view from the porch and drove into town to go out to eat. The hosts were very welcoming and even provided a cute little frog table and chair for our little one. We would love to book again some time. Sadly, it does not come with the cute pictured pug. :)

Beautiful location and houses. You can tell that Sean and Jill know what they’re doing. Right down to having extra phone chargers and many other things in case you forgot yours. All we had to bring was our clothes, food and person toiletries. Everything else was already there. Super clean and nice open concept for a good hangout area. Will definitely use them again.

Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

Great stay for the weekend! Clean and cosy! Quick walk to the beach and within a short drive to other beaches and hiking. Our pup loved the gated backyard to play in as well! Hosts were quick to respond when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Nice place for a long weekend . was able to walk the beach and check out Lexington and Port Huron, both beautiful beach towns. Hosts were pleasant and helpful even thought their house is beside the cabin they left us to enjoy our weekend ,but checked in on us by text messages.. Firewood was provided and back yard area was beautiful !

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

We enjoyed our stay here. There is enough beds and space to have the whole family here and of course our fur animal got to come along with us. We really enjoyed that the backyard was fenced in for both the kids and the dog, it gave that extra peace of mind. The entire house really is stocked with almost everything you need. The kitchen had a ton, the extra blankets, the games for the kids, the portable a/c is a huge bonus. The beach is close enough to walk with no problems. Small area of rocks and then the water is sandy. We bought some cheap (like $7) water shoes off Amazon the previous yr and they worked perfect again for the little bit of rocks there are. This would definitely be on the list to return to again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cutie Pie Cottage! The place was charming, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home, and the attention to detail in the decor was just perfect. A special shoutout to Marci, who was incredibly helpful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Her hospitality truly made our experience even better. If you’re looking for a relaxing and adorable place to stay, this is it!

The house was very nice. It was spacious and clean. It was close to restaurants and other stores. We had a nice, relaxing time.

The Little Oak Cottage was a perfect getaway for my wife and I (and our dog). The cabin was small but was perfect for our needs. This cabin is just a short walk to a small beach and a short drive to all kinds of restaurants but situated in the small town of Au Gres so it was really quiet and peaceful.

Donna’s home is beautiful and had everything we needed (and didn’t know we needed!) for a quiet weekend away. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and the house and area are exactly as pictured. While it was just two of us, this is clearly a great spot for a larger group too. I definitely hope to be back, especially thanks to Donna’s responsiveness. A great house and a great place!

We were looking for a peaceful retreat-like property and this filled the bill. Every morning we were greeted by colorful sunrises. Each evening we had a full view of the star-filled sky, anchored by a brilliant moon. The property is such that guests have a unobstructed full view of the lake through t the spacious glass door windows. We began our days sitting on the beach as the sun rose. Each evening we ended the day gathered around a fire which was fueled by a generous stockpile of wood provided by Mark and Company. The property has plenty of woods, enough for a mini-wilderness walk. Most everything is provided for every day needs. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. Beds are super comfortable. We even surpised ourselves by collaborarting on assembling a jig-saw puzzle provided by the property. Thanks Mark. Great job.

This was our second time staying at Jane's BnB. She is incredibly communicative, responsive and accommodating. She made an exception for us to rent the cottage for two nights instead of three and let us know we could check in early and check out late! The cottage itself is clean, has everything you could possibly need or want, and is incredibly quiet. Our favourite part is that we can bring our dog and that there's a relatively private beach just steps away. We enjoyed taking our Springer Spaniel for swims on leash, didn't really encounter any other dogs (which is a bonus as he's dog reactive) and liked taking him 20min to the pinery for a big hike. We'd absolutely recommend staying here and would return for a third time!

My 3 sons and I had a great time at Steve’s cabin. We had docking for our 2 boats and my dog could access the water easily. The fire pit and wood supply was a huge hit. The lake was as peaceful and beautiful as I remember it from the 70’s. The cabin had a lot more personality than any new-build could ever have. The location was very private and quiet. The fact that most of the cabins are vacation homes makes Sage Lake all that more desirable.

Enjoyed our stay over the holidays visiting family. Janice’s place was spacious with comfy beds. Would definitely consider staying again!

This cabin in the woods was exactly what we were looking for. Super nice and responsive host as well. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay there again.

I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay at Jamie's beautiful lakeside retreat. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and included nice amenities (snack assortment, K-cups, bathroom toiletries). The backyard deck and view of Lake Huron was incredible. I witnessed gorgeous sunrises over coffee each morning. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable and friendly. And the location is close to both East Tawas beaches and shopping as well as hiking at Iargo Springs and Lumberman's Monument, both overlooking the Au Sable River. I very much look forward to a future stay!

We really enjoyed our stay the The Stone Cottage. It was close to the town of Lexington, which is a really cute little town. We were in the area for a family get together, so we didn’t explore much. The cottage had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. It has lots of windows, which we really enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use, and all the appliances were in good shape. The living room had lots of comfortable seating. This place could easily accomodate a family with 2 kids. There as a nice back yard with a fire pit, which we did not use, but looked like fun. We would stay here again.
