We had a great stay at Helena’s place! The weather was pretty gloomy (understandable for early spring in Michigan), but we still loved being on the water and it just accentuated the cabin’s coziness. Can only imagine how nice it would be in the warmer months. Helena was very responsive and helpful to all our needs.

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

Staying at Two Trees was the perfect fall weekend getaway for my husband, pup and I! The location was perfect to explore the Huron manistee National forest and do some hiking at the Lumberman’s memorial. We also went up to Alpena to try the breweries and the winery. We really enjoyed the Alcona brew haus in harrisville as well - they catered to my husbands allergies and had many vegetarian options for me! Their Oktoberfest was my favorite beer I tried. Our favorite part of the trip was staying at the cabin though - the beach access was amazing and we loved relaxing by the water or walking and rock hunting. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could think of. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to spend some time in the area, at the beach, or in the National forest!

What a great stay! Felt right at home and it had special touches and amenities to the house. It was a beautiful, peaceful place and with the beach being so close was just an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake side home. No air conditioning which makes it hot upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Would stay there again once the lake level rises to its original levels.

A wonderful location, activities and tranquil location. Extremely responsive host and easy check-in/out. We hope to return next year!

Ron was great, we stayed for ice fishing and it is a perfect location. Ron even let us use the pole barn for cleaning fish. Will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

It was a great place to stay, very comfortable. I would like to get back in late spring or summer, the walk to the beach would be awesome.

I had never been to Oscoda before, and Rachel’s place made me feel right at home! Perfect view of the beach, and it was just so so so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back for sure!!

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

Super amazing stay! The outside was absolutely stunning, and fun at the same time. You can see the house from across the canal, it’s so neat! Daniel and Janet are so wholesome and amazing! Met them and never really saw them again, but excellent hosts!

Great cottage! Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful beach which was a short walk away and the lovely yard. We had several bonfires and enjoyed the cozy cottage environment. Wonderful stay!

This is a great cottage with a fantastic view! Lots of room, comfortable with well appointed with modern furniture and appliances. Anita is a terrific host! If you’re looking for a vacation spot in this area, any time of the year, absolutely choose this place. 10/10

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

The cabin was really amazing especially the beautiful surroundings. Clear instructions and responsive host. Calm and quiet neighbourhood. Definitely recommended.

Our stay was great! The airbnb was so cozy- it was the perfect winter getaway with the fireplaces and cozy atmosphere of the home. Our host was great and we even extended our stay an extra day because we loved it so much! We highly recommend going to the local museum (it’s a bit hard to access the lake in the winter from our experience because it snowed a bunch but there’s still lots to do). Would definitely go again!

Perfect location!!! Nothing fancy in the cabin itself… but it’s got a gorgeous view, is across from a coffee shop / laundromat (amazing), and next to the kayak rental! Everything is walkable. Mike and Dale are great too!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely setting by the lake. Sitting on the swing listening to the waves was our favorite activity. Amazing sunrise & Sunset view from the private beach. Most of our time was spent in the yard or on the beach.
