Super cute little cabin! Beautifully decorated and furnished. As described it is tiny but our family of 4 perfectly for 2 nights. Zoe was very accommodating with a last minute booking and was responsive to messages. Instructions for check in, parking and check out were very clear. Would absolutely stay here again 😁

Kim and Charlie were extremely helpful. They answered every question quickly. Were willing to reconfigure beds, swap bunks to 2 singles. The arrival time is 3pm but they let us know as soon as the cleaning was completed that we can get in earlier. We, 8 'aged' siblings, had great time, in wonderful surrounds and beautiful accommodation. Thank you

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen, geschmackvollen Airbnb sehr wohlgefühlt und bedauern es, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren! Tolle Lage - der schöne Strand ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nice house and very good location, near to beach. Our group was big but could comfortably accommodate. Had minor concern after checking in but the host responded well and was taken care of quickly.

Our stay at Suzanne's place was peaceful, calm & cosy. It was exactly as described. Lots of interesting, quirky pieces of furniture & decor. Not modern at all, but squeaky clean and comfortable. Love the outdoor patio/sunroom area - only wish we were there longer to be able to enjoy it! Suzanne & Bronte greeted us when we arrived even though it was 8pm, and saw us off when we left. They are beautiful friendly hosts. would definitely stay again!

Wow, what a beautiful place! (1st comment on walking in) The Policeman's Apartment has been so beautifully done out with such great regard for its historic value. We really appreciated the 'homeliness' of it, & the welcoming gift was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean & although we didn't cook there, there is everything you need. Loved the location & the seaside outlook. Thank you Gretel

Helene's place fitted the bill perfectly. The house was just what we were looking for and the setting was lovely overlooking the beach and the bay. Helene was particularly helpful even to the point of leaving us a load of fresh Mullet which we cooked for our dinner. We really enjoyed our stay in Southend and our mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony eating breakfast and dinner and watching the fisherman come and go. We can thoroughly recommend Helene's place for a stay and can almost guarantee that any guest will be looked after by Helene as though they were a member of her own family.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept really well every night. The host was amazing — friendly, responsive, and very thoughtful. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, and even left some lovely personal touches that made me feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re visiting for a short trip or a longer stay, I highly recommend it. Thank you for a fantastic experience — I would absolutely stay here again!
