Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

We highly recommend The Bay House. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in with everything we needed for our Vanuatu adventure. Jeanette was a fabulous and friendly host who went above and beyond to assist us with lots of suggestions and local tips and tricks on hire cars, restaurants and local experiences, both in the lead-up to and during our stay. You do need to choose the right kind of vehicle to traverse the local roads but the setting is simply stunning with the private beach and lovely garden so it is very worth it. Thanks again, Jeanette

Our incredible holiday in Vanuatu was cut short by the earthquake (Dec 2024) but we were very lucky as the staff at paradise point went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were safe. Thank you so much and also to the driver/tour guide recommended by our host who was with us during the earthquake and helped us. The local people were so happy and friendly throughout our stay and we hope that many more people will visit Port Vila when it is safe to do so. We loved our short boat trips from town to the house and back which were affordable and a lot of fun. They are a great option and will be essential to access the house until the road is repaired. If your looking for paradise away from too much tourism this place is a dream. We absolutely loved it and extended our stay. The 9 nights were wonderful. Was the best snorkeling I've ever done and we've travelled a lot as a family. The house is perfect, solar and all your need if you love the environment and don't need excess energy. We took plenty of food from Australia which I'd highly recommend for a long stay so you don't have to go back to main island to shop and just enjoy your paradise. We will definitely return!

from our initial booking request to his personal farewell at checkout, owner Colin was always on hand with great recommendations, a detailed compendium and just letting us "be" at our own peral whilst at Watermark. our island hosts, Nolan & Fanny, was just a short walk (or text) away to give further insight to Moso Island and its Ni-Van, while we also got the most delectable home made meals delivered from Fanny's Kitchen! you can spend the whole day admiring the craftsmanship of Watermark from the verandah, snorkel up & down the house reef, have a stroll to the nearby Tasseriki- & Sunaï villages, go turtle & dugong spotting or try kava at a local nakamal (Bamboo bar's the best)... whatever you do, just book, you will most definitely find paradise!

Villa Ducula is a very private place, restful and quiet. The snorkeling out front (accessed from Island Magic Resort next door) is brilliant and a little swim in your own private pool afterwards is a treat. Prepare your food requirements carefully as there is only one restaurant nearby and it is only open Thursday to Sunday. Apart from that you have a ride on a very bumpy road back towards town or bring your own food and cook in the kitchenette which has everything you need. We loved our stay here and it’s only a hop, skip and a jump to the Mele Cascades - Lydia will organise transport for you.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pango - the house is beautifully designed, the view is just incredible and all just 30 minutes from the airport. Absolute bliss! In particular, the snorkeling was best in class - we couldn’t believe you could swim to it right in front of the house. And Pacific Memories 2 mins walk down the shore is a great dive shop too. Everything was just so easy, convenient and wonderful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
