Elena and her husband are such a kind and attentive couple. Even with the hiccups we did have, they were very quick to respond and resolve the issues. It is so peaceful to wake up to the birds and bask in the sounds of the night under the stars. The dome was perfect to sit and play card games with our babies and the hot tub was just enough to satisfy our kiddos. My husband and I kept the sliding door to our bedroom cracked so we could be lulled to sleep by the beautiful sounds of nature you’ll experience here. The spring peepers sing a constant melody throughout the night and the birds are the perfect alarm to start your day. The only thing we wish we could’ve done is enjoy a fire under the stars and kayak. The weather just didn’t allow for it during our short stay. On Sunday we were delighted with fresh pastries from the local bakery from Elena and her husband. They really take servanthood to the next level which was so needed while we were there. We would definitely return.

Great stay! Perfect for small family gathering. Quiet neighborhood and the house has amazing natural light. The rooms were great and loved having a pool table upstairs. Jeannie gave great instructions and checked in to make sure everything was going great. Thanks for the amazing stay! Highly recommend and would revisit.

Very pleasant stay over Thanksgiving while visiting family. Quiet, peaceful lake setting (even though it was very cold out and no swimming in the lake at 20 degrees!).. It was a good place to rest after the noise and activity of our large family 3 day gathering!

Our stay at Moon Shine Farm exceeded our expectations! What a beautiful, serene, and relaxing historical property this is! And with our busy day schedule, sitting around the fire pit was just what we needed! In addition, we really appreciated the living area with the sectional that seated us all as well as the dining room table. The owners were great communicators and answered all our questions which we appreciated! If we return to this area, the Moon Shine Farm will be our first choice! Loved being here! Highly recommend!

Great place to visit. Community was great, polite, and friendly. Everyone was very welcoming with a beautiful scenic background of nature and sunshine... Definitively a MUST visit

The place was beautiful and everything we wanted for a quiet weekend with family and friends. When we drove up it was hard to find the place because there was no sign with the address posted anywhere. It was getting dark when we got there so we had a hard time finding the entry. There were not enough dish rags and cooking utensils provided by the host, so we had to go buy additional that we needed for the weekend. The property should be updated with additional security measures for the patio railings. We did not make much of use of the patio because we were concerned that our dog could fall off of the low bench that was in place of the railing, and it was overlooking the ground floor patio. Access to the beach in the instruction was very close, only an 8-minute walk, however, there were some very steep stairs going down to the beach. We took the alternate route to the beach the next day, which was better. Overall a good experience.

What a Wonderful Cozy Cottage! If only we had the time to stay longer! We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy access and clear instructions to check in and check out. Danny responded quickly with any of our questions. We'll definitely book again the next time we visit. Loved the front and back porches which would be nice spots to enjoy in warmer weather. The Keurig with K-cups, sugar/sweetener, and creamer in the refrigerator was so nice for us since we just stayed one night and could enjoy a cuppa without going out for supplies.
